How much did it cost? and how often is it open to the public? Also good surfing; try to get more speed for your turns and you will go through your turns better; it's not an easy sport and when you get more speed start putting more weight on your front foot. cheers
It was like $190 for the hour session. They don’t make sessions available until a few weeks ahead so that people can’t just book everything out. Only session that was available the day that I went was a one hour advanced. Would’ve loved to try the airwave or the slab but hey. It was definitely still a cool experience, if you’re in Texas, I highly suggest it. Don’t think I would go if I wasn’t already going to Texas though Thanks bro, I appreciate the advice. I was a snowboard guy first so my technique is pretty weird but it is getting a little better thanks to the feedback I get.
Hey. Thank for sharing this. I have some dates booked and never been there before. Im thinking about renting boards instead of traveling with mine. Can you share any advice or info on their rentals?
Yeah, they have boards that you can rent and you can see what they currently have available to rent on their website. The boards are a little beat up but they are a good option and not bad for the $40 dollar rental fee. They also offer insurance incase you hit the bottom which does happen a lot and that’s why they are a little beaten up and that’s like another 30-40$
I did it a while back and I I got slammed every time on the slab or wedge section. Landed on my back and shoulders every time on the concrete. If you’re a bigger dude you gotta grab the rail drop knee. Also the instructors want to help but at least for me I have to watch the wave incoming to learn the take off spot had to flat out ignore them so I wouldn’t miss waves.
Looks fun out there man!!! Love the suit 😉😎
It was pretty rad, the 2 mm spring suit was perfect 👌🏼
Saw u out at Rincon today. Didn’t recognize u with the stache. Sick pocket barrel
Yeee, thanks brother 🤙 happy holidays

@LorenBird thanks!
You’re welcome, let me know if you have any other questions 🤙
How's it man, thanks for sharing. Just curious how deep is it? Is it dangerous when you fall going into concrete, or is it pretty deep?
It’s super shallow and pretty dangerous. I barely touched the bottom on a wipeout and it took some skin. Just do your best to starfish

I wanted to see the different waves so bad but all they did that day was 1 public and two private sessions and all three were just the advanced waves
