Seeing this video made me cry, with tears of joy. As a New Mexican now living in Alabama, I miss my home state. And fun fact New Mexicos state Question is Green or Red or Christmas, Its because we love our Chile red or green. New Mexico is a very unqiue, beautiful state. The Balloon Fiesta is my favorite fiesta to go too when i get the chance. As a Child we would go Every year and all week. Hope one day your family will be able to enjoy the beautiful hot air balloons. Many prayers and love. Thank you for showing what family really is about🤗
As a fellow New Mexican, I love all chile but my favorite way to eat it is Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas. I like red chile on my beef enchiladas but I can go either way. Definitely love Green Chile Stew and for Posole I like both but prefer it made with green chile. Also love Chile Rellenos smothered in white queso made with Hatch green chiles.
@@sernastephenj I miss the smell of roasting chiles and then going home to peel them and package them was always my favorite part. You really do miss stuff when you can no longer do it. I will always love and be proud to be from New Mexico. Its the culture, the people, and everything else that makes it New Mexico🤗
In case Denzie was wondering the red Washington Nationals jersey is a baseball shirt of Stephen Strasburg who a few years ago was 1 of the best young pitchers n a long time. And being an Atlanta Braves fan that's Freddie Freeman who was the MVP last year and won the World Series with the Braves b4 being traded to the LA Dodger's after the season.
I love the reactions to mail call. I reckon with all the flags your getting you could put them on poles and resemble the UN Building. What a great video.
I love that you are getting some love from America. We have a lot to share. In these tough times, it's great to see awesome, wholesome family content on the interwebs. New Zealand and the US are more than just allies or friends, we're family. I love you guys. I love the way you share your familial bond with the internet. For every bright, glorious video you put out, the darkness gets just a little less scary. I served in the US AF and I love seeing your AF gifts. I'm very proud of my service. I'm super proud of my country. And I'm beyond proud of YOU guys, being good people. Truly.
Really hope this gets to you in time. I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the green chilies you were send are from Hatch, NM and nowhere else. They come in green and red (mature) and can be quite powerful, so taste first. The chilies are turned into a type of salsa and served on almost everything. When served together, such as on enchiladas it is termed as "Christmas" because of the colors. Will be interested to hear your reaction. Thank you for the hours of enjoyment you have blessed this 74 year old woman with.
As to the question of the flag being backwards. The blue area always faces the front, because that's the part attached to the pole and we are carrying it into the charge. We are not retreating. So depending on the arm, you use a "backwards" flag.
I still find it....on one hand....amazing....and on the other hand...disheartening....that a family from New Zealand shows so much respect and admiration for the flag of the United States of America while many of our own people trample on that beloved cloth and belittle what that banner means and represents. One thing that I have come to expect from your videos.....and something that warms my heart every time....is the love that your family has for each other, Add in your love for learning, your love for adventure...and it is clear to see why so many people from around the world watch your videos and look forward to each and every new upload.
I had never heard of that candy company, but your reaction made me want to try it! So many lovely, thoughtful presents to open today! I love seeing what everyone thinks of to send! I thought of a couple of channels y'all might enjoy reacting to or just to watch. 1. The History Guy: History Deserves to be Remembered. The host, Lance, does incredible research into historical events from all across time and location and then delivers the story in a beautiful and captivating way. I've learned a great deal from him and I think you Kiwis would love it. 2. Forgotten Weapons. Ian McCollum, aka Gun Jesus, finds the old, weird, sometimes terrible but always interesting firearms and does as deep a dive as he can into what makes a gun unique. Sometimes he looks at non-firearm weapons and even does virtual tours of museums, gun factorys and historical battlegrounds from all over the world. Ian often gets to fire some of the older guns, such as the 20mm Lahti anti-tank rifle from WW2. 3. The Chieftain, hosted by Major Nicholas Moran, who served in the US Army Armored Division. His channel is all about tanks and any armored vehicle. He's also the tank expert for the online game, World of Tanks. He also contributed his knowledge to the anime _Girls und Panzer,_ a hilarious show about Japanese schoolgirls who compete in the art of Tankery.

My first time watching the family open packages, it was fun. I live in Denver, Colorado. The end of August, Hatches Green Chili Season starts (Green chili is nothing like Texas red chili). You enjoy and show a lot of respect for the U.S. military and as a veteran of the USAF I am honored. I also love watching Atlanta's Kitchen, what a talented and sweet young chef. God bless you all.
Interesting. I am actually a little turned away from the videos due to respecting the US military despite the constant war crimes.
The most American thing about these mail-time videos is how Americans have to constantly one-up each other to convince this family their sports team, city, military branch, Senator is the best. I love it.
hi from Timaru New Zealand, it's lovely to see your excitement opening your packages it's funny watching the dog getting excited when you open a package lol
Thank you for showing what family really is about🤗
Red on enchiladas and green for everything else;) sending you good thoughts from the 505, and hope you come back someday @starlovepatriot
I love your opening packages videos, it's like Christmas morning and you are all so happy. Thanks for sharing once again.
Amazing gifts, snacks, pictures and letters sent to our Beloved NZ Family , Good Job everyone! :)
You know you're doing something right when you impress a monk.
I love the reactions to mail call. I reckon with all the flags your getting you could put them on poles and resemble the UN Building. What a great video.
What a bunch of wonderful, thoughtful gifts. You are all amazing to send presents to this awesome NZ family.
We just dropped off a package from Indiana!
did 12 years in the U.S. Air Force. awesome you guys are making an impact all the way over on this side of the world.
Just love watching how excited you are to read the letters sent as well as the books.💛💛
Truly.
…I love you guys. Also Atlanta’s “tray” is what we call rolling🍃 trays 😂 but of course can be used for anything!
🤣🤣I was waiting for this comment . Was just telling the wife about the trays
I was wondering if anyone was gonna comment on those!!! Both Atlanta and Denzel got (as Sam put it) 'trinket' trays.
Yeah, I live in Springfield and Penny Lane was on the tray and that is definitely a smoke shop here lol.
i looked at the comments so fast when i saw the trays😂
Seriously. As soon as they showed that I thought, why in the world would someone send them a “trinket” tray? Lol
Love your enthusiasm as you open packages! Looking forward to lots more from you all!
I am with Denzel. My favorite animal is the tiger! I am a senior citizen in PA and I love how much your family enjoys learning about us!
The nicest people I have ever met have been from NZ!!!
Wonderful nation
Wonderful people
The mail time episodes are awesome! This is such an awesome community!! :)
THE MILITARY MEANS ALOT TO US HERE IN THE USA THEY ARE WHAT MAKES THE USA THE LAND OF THE FREE BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. HI TO YOU FROM SAN DIEGO CA
I had never heard of that candy company, but your reaction made me want to try it! So many lovely, thoughtful presents to open today! I love seeing what everyone thinks of to send! I hope to see Washington added to the list soon...and eventually would love to send you some things from our beautiful state! Your family brings us so much joy! ❤
@@marydavis5234 Does that mean there’s some rum in that taffy? ;) Or, whisky in Dewars
case?
Fess up lol 😆
@@marydavis5234 Dewar's Candy Company doesn't have any connection to the Dewar's Scotch Company. They just have similar names. 😀
@@marydavis5234 I did look it up before typing my response. Dewar's Candy Company in Bakersfield, CA is a privately owned family business.
@@jasonmistretta4295 I looked it up , they are owned by Brothers, so they ae both from the same family.
@@jasonmistretta4295 I looked it up too and the Dewars scotch company is owned by the brother who created and runs the Dewars candy company , so they are the same family.
The Atlanta Braves won the World Series last year!
It has been shown in all the mail. Your family is much bigger than just the 5 of you. Love you all, keep up the good work.
I love watching how happy & excited they get when they open their gifts. And it's so kind of the people that got them all these awesome gifts.
You guys are such a great family. Love watching your videos, Wishing you peace from Missouri USA.
Atlanta- I have the same silicone mat & the same pie plate! Can't wait until you bake - I'll try & get my youngest to bake along with you!
I declare you all honorary yanks. Your content brings my little boy and I so much joy. San Diego CA ❤️
Mail Time is my favorite! I love watching you add states to your map, and receive gifts from all the people in the US who adore Your New Zealand Family, and Atlanta's Kitchen. I am keen to send a gift, but I given how long it takes, I probably won't be the first in my state! Keep up the awesome reactions!!
When I watch your family, I have tears in my eyes thinking how great you are teaching your beautiful kiddos. from Albuquerque New Mexico
Great video, the reactions to the taffy was so good, it made me want some myself. The other boxes were cool too.. I still enjoy y'alls videos, they are so cool, thanks and God Bless you.
Such generous and thoughtful gifts :) I think you will really enjoy Liberty Kids. We own it and I have been watching it with my kids as part of their homeschooling. The episodes we have seen, they have already gone back and rewatched several times!
My first time watching the family open packages, it was fun. I live in Denver, Colorado. The end of August, Hatches Green Chili Season starts (Green chili is nothing like Texas red chili). I wish you all could smell the chilis being roasted on the streets. The smell is divine. People buy bushels to make green chili. It's a really big thing here in the West. We eat green chili sauce on breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Enjoy
Got mine at a stand at 40th and Wadsworth a few days ago.
@@moonbot7613 I need to empty my freezer a bit so I have a place to put them. I love the smell. All of a sudden after forty years my sister loves green chili.
So amazing!!! That first big heavy box was just like a $3,000 box! How sweet people are and I love when they open them and so happy and grateful!
Great family! Great vibes! Much love!
They are the happiest family I have ever seen just beautiful love from New York
Atlanta, those look like 10" or 11" pie pans. Make sure you use recipes for that size. A lot of recipes are for 8" or 9" where the volume is significantly smaller.
they sure do like all the stuff they get sent to them
These packages just get better and better! I'm starting to gather things to send! I love this community you have created! Hello to everyone! Love you all and thank you for continuing to provide amazing content!!! ❤
St. Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe Pennsylvania is a beautiful place, as I have been there several times.
Showing Kindness. It Counts. 💖
Great job everyone 👏 👍
What kindness and generosity. Great representation of the goodwill between the USA and NZ. ;0)
Finally Iowa gets some love, that flag is flown right next to the U.S. flag and of course the Iowa Hawkeyes flag at our house.
I caught myself smiling proudly as they put the Iowa sticker on the map. And those military history books are great. Nice job, Jeff from Waukee (wau-KEE’). At our house, we fly both Iowa Hawkeye AND Iowa State Cyclone flags (best to tread lightly when you talk to us on Cy-Hawk game day if you don’t know who went where 😉😏😂).
Love it from Pa!
Love from San Diego, California! My nephew has been in the Air Force for 16yrs now. He has @least 2bronze hearts, he doesn't like to talk about his metals 🤫♥️
TBF the medals aren't worth talking about often because medals tend to imply that they have committed war crimes.
Either you mean Purple Hearts or Bronze Stars. 1 Medal is for being wounded in battle (Purple Heart) the other medal is for a level of bravery and valor on the battlefield (Bronze Star). Not making fun of you just pointing out that they are 2 different Medals, as a veteran I wish to thank your Nephew for his service, even though he is a darn "Wingnut" I myself am a Marine Corps Veteran.
@@yankee_tango If someone got a bronze star they are almost certainly a war criminal. Do not thank them.
@@dilberthigh You are a disrepectful person, you have no clue what that is so it is best you keep quiet "Snowflake" . It is because of folks like her Nephew and myself defended or are defending your rights to be like you are, therefore you should be grateful and not disrespectful..
Congratulations, what a beautiful little 🐕 dog
Wow, 3 new states in one episode! And I'm glad they're enjoying the book. Book 2 comes out next month!
Perfect! ❤ And cooking together as a family is what most of us do. Nailed it ! You guys are awesome!❤
I love your show. I have been to Australia but never New Zealand. Now at 81 I’m not sure I’ll ever get there. Keep up the wonderful show
I was once a Seminarian at St. Vincent Seminary in Latrobe, Pennsylvania back in 2004! To see this video is just mind blowing!!
Sam, a fun fact: St. Vincent's where Brother Francisco is located is also the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp each summer. Actually, they train at the college of the same name.
LOVED Liberty Kids when I was younger. It was often shown in school for history class. Was my favorite part of the school day. Think I could still recite the theme song 20 years later L O L.
You are all so amazing! I love watching the joy & appreciation you have. St. Vincent's is a college and where the Pittsburgh Steelers have there summer practice open to the public! It is a beautiful campus.
I love all the gifts, but I especially love that someone thought of your furry family member.
