Just got my hands in the 70th Anniversary set of the Railway Series. Wanted that or the big book you have for years but couldn't find a good deal. Paid US $70. It usually goes for over $100.
I which I had some of those books when I was a child because I was a big Thomas fanatic for series 1-7. I didn't like series 8-16 because the stories weren't the greatest. Series 17-20 are getting better, which is good and I like that Daisy is back in series 20.
Yes I am in full agreement there. The latest series of Thomas & Friends has improved so much and are amongst the best since series 7, at a stretch 8 and 9

Did know that the Ladybird Thomas & Friends book never came out in the United States?
Until the early nineties Thomas & Friends was not anywhere near as popular as it was in the UK. It's really only been since the CGI era that Thomas has become very big in the US
