Yeah you will note that i jad reviewed this months before other YTbers...almost 11 months so i gave up on it a long time ago and this must be my 💩buy in a long time in RC. I just do not like it.
@@rokkiheebeli if your going to run 3s on it get some foams on it. I got the team corally attack foams and carbon wheel combos on mine, 26mm 37 shore on the front and 30mm 40 shore on the rear, 2s will be fine on shock wheel and tyre set up 👌

@@techspac3 I have done a bit of looking around for tires and have a couple I may try. I am kind of waiting for my Rlaarlo Ak917 to arrive. Those wheels and tires may work from the AK917. We will see. if they do I will buy another set of those.

Regardless of the car the video is excellent and helps us pick what to buy… when I get my piggy bank filled up again I’ll maybe go for the ftx superfoza instead
I’ve got the car and I have a hard time to adjust the steering to it’s center point. So far I love the car and I usually drive it by night time when it’s dark
They built the rear end wrong. I seen someone review the newer werewolf, same gyro problem out the box You need to reverse it & both rear arms have been installed wrong, you need to swap them around as rear wheels rub the body
@techspac3 you're the only person iv heard say its 💩 yes hnr F'd up in quality control but you could fix it in 15 mins without spending money. Just press that button on the receiver twice & it will handle good. Iv had same problem with RC6GS & ddf350 controllers touch steering & crash i reversed servo the cars handle wicked. I didn't know they F up rear arms on your car, im thinking of getting the new BMW there's a video showing the upper suspension arms are wrong on it causing body to rub, he swapped them & body fitted perfectly. NEVER buy a battery less than 80c 5200mah, i buy 5200-6200mah 100c C is what give you your speed. COME ON ITS SUNDAY 30mins fixing & you'll be bashing at 40mph after 4pm. All your have to do is press your receiver button twice, did you look at that link showing you how to fix your upper rear suspension arms for body rubbing? I'll get you some links

i think the biggest flaw of that exact vehicle is the driver.... i dont think your expectations are realistic. you want a does everything car but thats not possible. that car was built and designed to just street bash and slide around. and rather than getting upset it wont do exactly what you want, maybe stop and think what your doing wrong. if you cant inspect a car and eliminate slop in steering and suspension then you probably shouldnt be doing speed runs... leave that to the people that use there brains.
I think maybe part of the problem is the chassis geometry is setup more for drifting than going fast. I think they should've done more of a touring car chassis setup
@@techspac3 they done a really good job of the hellcat shell though. If I had money to throw around I'd buy the car just for the shell, cause it looks better than the Kyosho ones I've seen.
@@techspac3 I'm doing a custom Tamiya M-08 chassis at some point, which is probably what I'm gonna use for all the custom bodies I do. I'm not a big fan of the drift-car hobby, but I've got an expensive drift-car (MST). If the two chassis are similar & I can rig up my stealth magnetic body mounts identical I can get the best of both worlds & have all my shells fit on either drift, or touring car chassis. I like the 1/10 scale chassis cause there's heaps of different clear bodies you can get for them
I no someone had same problem it cos the gyro is switched the rong way so car just spins out you need to double press little button on the side of the gyro
Thats to bad...i don't have this car,but its problem is very simple...the tires balloon to much as you found out the hard way...normally with off road cars this is fine,but cars like this need different tires.those tires it came with are designed for a 30mph car,manufacturers dropped the ball . I heard there are parts available,but since i don't have one i never looked...Good luck
Actually this car is very good chasis...has great radio and hobbywing esc and motor ..all metal gears and looks amazing.. only issues were gyro being programmed wrong and tires..but i also like rhalarro 787 race car a lot also...i dont drive my cars into curbs,so i dont break them...but i guess it could happen...😅
