I am so glad I found this my friend. With 10th edition rendering our beloved army to less than rubbish- we still look the best. DG are the only reason I got into 40K. We have the best looking models hands down. Ive been purchasing more DG than ever before. Our Death Shroud Terminators are iconic to say the least. Thank you for the excellent kit bash how to.
I haven’t played my first game of 10th yet but it doesn’t look good for the DG! Fingers crossed for a good codex, thankfully I mostly play narrative and large points so can generally overcome lost shortcomings, I think the biggest shame is no longer being able to do 7 man squads! More nurgle planned for the future so stay tuned …
On a separate note, do you think alcohal is a creating of nurgle? I doubt it myself, but I think it'd be cool if there is a story about nurgle using alcohal to infect a populous with his altered version of alcohal where he pushed the effects of it to the limit. Just as I was writing this, I had a thought for a story. I'm not very knowledgable about the lore, so this might not make sense lorewise. So Slaanesh is trying to take over a populous by pushing their alcohalism (built up from a stress inducing society) to the next level, but Nurgle stole the prize from her hands as he poisons the alcohal, infecting them before Slaanesh could.
I have some Terminators from the Rise of The Orks set and I'm considering converting them int Nurgle Terminators So I was wondering how might I be able to convert/kitbash them into Nurgle Chaos Terminators? Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated
I think it depends on what’s in your bits box, a lot of the nurgle kit parts would switch really well onto the terminators, if you don’t have any nurgle bits then greenstuff is your friend, lots of tentacles, boils etc would work or you could go down the just turned route, use crackle paint to make it look like the original paintwork is cracking off, paint some patches of armour in green to start the corruption etc, the best thing about nurgle is the complete range of what you can do!
