Fun fact. He is a childhood friend of Adam Lambert and they had the same vocal coach. Brian was Adams personal guest at his concert not too long ago......
The silence at the end before the applause says it all. Such a powerful rendition. Like others I’d recommend his collab with Scott & Mitch (Superfruit) and others doing Rise. So so good. Pentatonix did a great version of this when they were on Masked Singer and Voiceplay recently did an epic version too!
His ability to go from full belt to softness is amazing. Many singers can belt, many can sing soft. Few can go from belt to soft with no cracking and with such control. Great talent, and such emotion.
I think you would also enjoy Pentatonix doing Creep. I liked it best after their unmasking on The Masked Singer, but you can watch them perform it fully “masked” as the California Rolls also. They have since recorded it and put it on their UA-cam channel, but there is no accompanying video. I think it is so much more powerful when you can see their faces after being unmasked, plus you get the added benefit of watching an entire studio audience get Mitch-slapped. 😂 Edited to add: there is one surprising departure with Creep in that it is NOT a cappella. The point of The Masked Singer is to hide their identities, but we Pentaholics knew who they were anyway the second Scott and Mitch opened their mouths and sang. It was so funny watching the judges try and “guess” who they were when all of us fans out here knew from the first day, even with the added instruments.
This and PTX's covers of Creep are my two favorites. This gives me chills every time I hear it!! BJC did a cover of Rise (Katy Perry) with Superfruit (PTX's Mitch and Scott's side project) that you really should check out. He is such an amazing singer.
BJC is a beast of a talented singer! Again, we have yet another stunning vocalist that just doesn’t get enough attention. I cry every single time I watch this and I don’t cry! 🥹 I mean as a default. Just amazing. Love him! T ✌🏻
Mitch and Scott of PTX had a channel called Superfruit they did a rendition of I Rise had Scott Crum in it and a few others I believe it was for the night club shooting in Florida made me cry
Just to let you know they are doing a new AGT Legends kicking off on Jan 1st and Brian is set to be on it. We as BJC FANS need to watch and VOTE VOTE VOTE. He deserves to finally win this whole thing!!!
Not sure if you saw the beginning montage about his past, but it is interesting. He realized he was gay at a pretty young age, and was bullied for it. He said that this song meant a lot to him, about feeling like you are different. He is also in a video by Superfruit (which is Scott and Mitch from Pentatonix doing their own videos on the side), called "Rise" (not to be confused by PTX's new video "I Rise"). There are 5 singers in "Rise", and they are all amazing.
Kathy here - Thanks for reviewing this song. It was his second song from AGT - his first audition was Queen's Somebody to Love, and it is amazing if you haven't seen it. The most interesting thing for me on this song, is how the audience was totally silent until he was totally done. And OMG his range is unbelievable. Once he "ramps" up on the middle part of the song, I was caught off guard the first time I heard it. And watching your face, in amazement of his abilities to make this HIS song! Now if you want to hear another version of Creep - check out Post Modern Jukebox, featuring Haley Reinhart - it is in ANOTHER totally different version, which I think you will find amazing. Thanks for your reaction!
Not only is his voice amazing. His story is so impactful and inspiring especially for those who have went through the same, and I agree the best version of creep ive ever heard.
Thanks for keeping it real. This guy is amazing. Most of all, THANKS for not pausing the video like so many do and giving comments when the song is not finished. For this reason alone, I just signed in and subscribed. :) Thanks Nick.
This was awesome. My first experience with him was Superfruits Rise. Superfruit is Mitch and Scott from Pentatonix. You might check out when PTX was on the Masked Singer and after their reveal they did a great version of Creep.
Thank you for this you have an open attitude to music. I really hope you enjoy your new job. Let us all know how you are doing in a few weeks. They are very lucky to have you.😅😅😅😅🎉🎉🎉
Have you seen Rise yet? He's very emotional in there as well. Together with Mary Lambert, Mario Jose, Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying, they are singers that blow that cover out of the water. On UA-cam it's "Rise by Superfruit".
Thank you for reacting to this, Nick... just, WOAH. 😲 Creep is a long time favorite identifyable songs of mine for so many years now, and I typically prefer the Radiohead version. However, This cover that feels much less aggressively painful, brought me goosebumps from the get go, and teary-eyes as I felt his pain in his voice! OMG. I have no idea who this man is, but I'm going to watch this a couple of more times. Love it! 👏🎶👏
Loved your reaction to this performance...His voice is incredible! It is covered often and I have a few favorites....b/c each artist brings something so unique...This is so emotional...the cover from VoicePlay is also and so beautifully done but...for a unique take... Please CHECK out Vintage Postmodern Jukebox cover ft Haley Reinhart and ...buckle up :)
I usually see a lot of reactions to music videos, but in many of them I find poor audiovisual quality, your video is top of the tops, great video quality and very balanced audio, congratulations, by the way, the video of Brian Justin singing Creep is epic!!
Brian is awesome, when I first saw him on AGT I instantly became a fan, I was able to see him perform in a small venue, he was great, the only thing it was all Xmas music
Voiceplay just released a cover of this song as well. You should definitely check it out as well! It is actually my new favorite version, followed by this one.
You HAVE to react to Super Fruit Rise. It is BJC with Scott and Mitch from pentatonix along with 2 other singers. They did the song after the Florida nightclub shooting it is so beautiful!!!
Love your reactions, man. It'd be really cool if you checked out Rise Against. There aren't many reaction vids out there, which is tragic to me. A couple favorites are "Blood-red, White and Blue" and "The Good Left Undone". "Make it Stop" and "Hero of War" are both hard-hitting mental health related songs. They also did a cover of "Any Way You Want It" by Journey that imo beats the original.
@@louisebacka One of my best friends was in the last groups to leave Iraq. Idk how it is these days, but for at least the first couple of years after he got back, he wouldn't/couldn't listen to "Hero".
Could you please, react to Chris Kläfford? A great swedish singer/songwriter. His voice will blow you away! Maybe "Cold at the altar", or any of his "kitchen sessions". You will love it!
Not saying it’s better, but besides PTX’s cover of this (which is fairly new), check out Vincent Cannady’s cover of this song on the show “The Four”. He does a take on it totally different. Actually, when PTX covered it, it reminded me of Vincent’s version. ua-cam.com/video/gPT3G1ABy4c/v-deo.htmlsi=OAZZBDeLlC-arX9H
And before you go further you need to hear Emily Middlemas sing this. It's different, but very good. ua-cam.com/video/JpTJs3uqEX4/v-deo.html Emily Middlemas 'Creep' X-Factor GB Live show #4 2016.
its not even the same song! I had not heard it before seeing his performance years ago...went and looked it up....no comparison!!!! if you love this soft to strong and back again kind of talent..check out Sydnie Christmas BGT new winner!
Should have won easily, hands down, and should be having a huge career compared to the males who pass as “ singers” nowadays. What a joke they all are compared to him. Of course an openly proud and powerful gay man in the USA will never be acceptable as a major singer in the homophobic atmosphere that exists south of the Canadian border these days. He should be everywhere and I’m absolutely furious that the male heterocentric music industry hasn’t picked up on this amazing man.
Fun fact. He is a childhood friend of Adam Lambert and they had the same vocal coach. Brian was Adams personal guest at his concert not too long ago......
He gives me goosebumps every time I hear him sing this song. Wow
Dynamics.. that's the word you needed. I agree, best cover I have ever heard!!!
Exactly it was so good
The silence at the end before the applause says it all. Such a powerful rendition. Like others I’d recommend his collab with Scott & Mitch (Superfruit) and others doing Rise. So so good. Pentatonix did a great version of this when they were on Masked Singer and Voiceplay recently did an epic version too!
I completely agree, the silence was so telling
And while we're talking a capella covers of this song, Straight No Chaser also has a good one!
His ability to go from full belt to softness is amazing. Many singers can belt, many can sing soft. Few can go from belt to soft with no cracking and with such control.
Great talent, and such emotion.
I think spectacularness was the word you sought....😊
I think you would also enjoy Pentatonix doing Creep. I liked it best after their unmasking on The Masked Singer, but you can watch them perform it fully “masked” as the California Rolls also. His backstory is he grew up knowing he was gay and was bullied. When you understand that it gives this performance a special meaning.
Oh yes that’s incredibly powerful
This and PTX's covers of Creep are my two favorites. This gives me chills every time I hear it!! BJC did a cover of Rise (Katy Perry) with Superfruit (PTX's Mitch and Scott's side project) that you really should check out. He is such an amazing singer.
Time to watch him with superfruit singing “rise”
Sounds like it!
OMG, I literally was just about to say the ame thing!
Please watch superfruit rise.
Also need to watch voice play creep withANTHONY GARGIULA
His first audition was Somebody to Love by Queen..was stunning!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Default amazement for him
Tears every time
I love Brian he’s awesome.
I love this version, it always brings tears to my eyes 💕
Haley Rheinhardt does a fabulous cover of it also.
PTX live version on Masked Singer is outstanding also
Never fails to make me cry ❤️🇬🇧
He has a powerful voice it's breathtaking.
This wasn't an audition. But it WAS BJC's first performance in front of the AGT audience. And it was truly electric. What an incredible voice.
Mitch and Scott of PTX had a channel called Superfruit they did a rendition of I Rise had Scott Crum in it and a few others I believe it was for the night club shooting in Florida made me cry
Oh wow what a duo!
Can be found google just put in Superfruit then Rise
Yes that song makes me cry *every* time.

I love the cover of this by Post Modern Jukebox featuring Haley Reinhardt will amaze you
He does have a full version of this song on his channel, but this short cut down one from AGT has so much emotion its way better.
I agree Nick, for me it’s the best rendition of this song that I’ve heard . Stunning performance
Thank you for this you have an open attitude to music. I really hope you enjoy your new job. Let us all know how you are doing in a few weeks. They are very lucky to have you.😅😅😅😅🎉🎉🎉
From the start, he has everyone mesmerized...
This is one of my favorite performances by him. Also, Rise with Superfruit and his version of Alanis Morrisette's You Oughta Know.
Wow, wow, he is totally awesome, talk about talent
Right? So incredible

PTX covered Creep on the Masked Singer. If you watch, it’s the unmasked version or one of the live performances from the current tour.
Oh, I'll be watching that!
Hits hard every time
Vulnerable and Mesmerizing ❤
Hey Regina =)
Haley Reinhardt says Hold My Beer. Check out Post Modern Jukebox feat Haley Reinhardt version of Creep. You’re welcome. 😊
agree kimberlee but he already did that one and was blown away: ua-cam.com/video/3y3NwmrqO14/v-deo.html

BJC never fails to deliver, this is an absolute powerhouse of a cover. Loved the reaction :)
Couldn't agree more!
Brian is so great also Almria of 4th impact also TOM BALL ARE GRAT
You are one of the few who has bothered to react to this performance, the man can sing!!!
Voiceplay just released a cover of this song as well. You should definitely check it out as well! It is actually my new favorite version, followed by this one.

Hi Nick. ❤ your reactions.
Glad you like them! Thank you 😊
This, for me, is the best ever cover of this song.
It’s amazing

I love BJC! He is amazing! His covers of Praying by Keisha and Halo by Beyonce are stunning.
Agreed!!
MY opinion, he covers it BETTER than Radiohead!! Cry everytime!!
I'm not gonna lie your kinda his doppelganger a little bit you guys resemble each other

I was just about to recommend he do this video. I'm glad I looked first to see if anyone else did first. I love this song by them!

@@nickforell1 you will love it especially if you watch the full video.😊😊
