If you plan on using only radahn spears I’d recommend using two radahn bows since their passive stacks with one another, also the spear talisman increases the damage of the arrows when an enemie is doing an animation.
Wait does this mean if I have four Radahn bows in my equipment slot but use only one then it all stacks? Or does it have to actually be in my offhand and on my back?
@@Flippy617 Passives only work with things that are currently active. For instance, with Staves, you can use and cast with the Carian Royal Scepter and still get the bonus 20%(?) to Gravity Magic from the Meteorite Staff if it's in your offhand or on your back, but NOT if it's not currently visible on your character. On my mage build, I'll usually equip Lusat and Carian Royal Scepter in my main hand slots w/ Meteorite and Glintblade staves in my offhand slots. Then, depending on what I'm fighting or casting, I'll swap back and forth between each but always cast with main hand since those are stronger staves. Like... If I'm fighting Mohg, I'll switch to Lusat, use Terra and Physick, then use Azur Comet. Off-hand doesn't matter here. But on something like Fire Giant, Placidusax, or Elden Beast, I'll use Lusat with Meteorite, use Physick and then channel Astels Meteorites since it gets boosted by Meteorite Staff but is using the scaling of Lusat. Melania? Carian Royal w/ Glintblade Staff so that my Slicer and Piercer do more damage.
Should I equip Radahn’s bow (+0) and Commanders standard (+0) on my left hand? My thought process is use Commander’s AOW increasing damage by 20% and swapping to Radahn’s bow on the offhand to permanently place another 20% Radahn’s spear damage?
@@tengkuhafiz4174 I think if you use a weapon buff on the left hand and then swap it out it will cancel the buff... meaning the moment you activate commander's standard then switch to Radahn's bow in left hand the Commander's Standard Buff will deactivate... Someone correct me if I am wrong.
To add to this: If you're looking for a more versatile bow-build. The Albinauric bow with rain of arrows and bleed arrows works great too. Aswell as the black blow, farmed from the consecrated snowfield archers, is great too for its rapid-fire capabilities. You could combine this with a lot of status effect arrows, which i find quite fun :P
This build is great if you're gonna tackle large enemies. If you're also not using summons, this build is gonna be hard to make work. If you wanna be powerful at every encounter without summoning, I suggest using Black Bow as main weapon with the Lion's greatbow as your secondary for larger enemies.
Just a quick tip, if you're going to use the GB for boss fights, use the aggro talisman with your Mimic tear. Equip talisman, summon tear, then switch out talisman with whichever you're going to use. That way they will always aggro your tear, and only seldomly attack you. Enjoy
Wanted to make RL 150 char for co-op. Started using Greatsword from gaelid with Lion Claw ash of war as main wep + SKELETAL MILITIAMAN ASHES. Unlocked mogh palace for Runefarm, MT gelmir merchant for great arrows. Lion Bow already works nice in mid game +7 with skeletal militiaman/Dung eater ashes (dont even have full hp dmg/alexander talisman yet). I want to take this build as challenge how many ng+ runs im able to do. Thanks for build, feels like new game using greatbows. :)
Small correction: @10:43 it's not concentrated, it's consecrated (which means 'made or declared sacred'). And to be clear, this build looks awesome and I can't wait to try this out myself. Thank you for sharing it!

I have no notes about the build. It just bothers me that people still don't know how to pronounce Zweihander correctly. It's a German word. First, it should have an umlaut (double dot) over the "A" like so... Zweihänder. Second, "W"s are pronounced as "V". Third, an umlaut means that the pronounciation of that letter is different. The correct pronounciation of Zweihänder is kinda like... Zv-eye-hen-der -> Zvei-hen-der -> Zweihänder The lack of an umlaut in the game bothers me so much that it's the primary reason I don't use the damned weapon. meh, too much setup and gimmicky. ill try bows when Myazaki finally understands gamers like rangers, and archery was a full time job in feudal Japan (where he gets ALOT of his inspiration, otherwise the samurai is a pointless class in a "medieval" game). even Samurai's of old would have used bows FAR more often than their swords as they were on horseback most often, AND had range

If I could make a suggestion the claymore is also a good hold over as it comes with lions claw. Plus it just a great all round weapon in general.
I like jumping around with the black bow, but i will give this a try. This looks fun.
Nice build, but no chances without the mimic tanking the boss. Sadly greatbows don't have jump attack.
