- (Just to clear this up I'm a GIRL!) Not a 12 year old boy. :| I finally got the shift video done! I filmed it several times but this is the best I could do. I wish it was better but I hope this will help you guys out in some way. If I didn't explain something well enough or you have some questions let me know in the comments.

I'm a 36 year who's after buying a pit bike for myself but as I've never been on a geared motorcycle before I thought I would check out some youtube videos to see how it's done and yours was the first one I came across! @@WVSTORMFOOTBALL if you're gonna go Chinese, get an Apollo rfz x18 or x19. They're solid for Chinese bikes. I've got one and two Japanese dirtbikes, and my rfz keeps up pretty well. I got it delivered to my house for under 900 bucks brand new and it's the fastest of the chinese 125s. I had an ssr before it and quality was better and bike was faster than the ssr. Just a bit of advice cause I was scared to buy Chinese but I've taken mine to the local MX track and sent it over some pretty big jumps and she's solid. 🤘

I'm 42,.......or 43 can't remember, I've always wanted a bike but never had one so no idea on how to shift in order, anyway I've watched a few of these videos of shifting gear, and I have to say your the only person that's made any sense to me, so thank you for teaching an old man 😂 on how to shift gears on a bike, thank you very much 👍

Awesome video! I am 31 and just got my first dirt bike, a CRF150R (my boyfriend competes in mx and I caught the bug!) I have been scouring video tips for beginners, ect. and yours was BY FAR the most thorough/beginner friendly. It's no easy feat to think back to when you were a beginner in order to explain how to start from square one, and you did a great job doing so. Thank you. Keep up the amazing work! :)

my kid come home last night said he can ride clutch now he seen this video at a mates a fort no way try it then so we got my bike out (CBR 125) to my amazement in a few goes he was off and away thanks so much a been trying to get him on a couch bike for years

I just bought an Apollo, today was my first day riding it, it’s a lot of fun. The seat is really uncomfortable, I need to get some riding shorts and/or learn how to ride standing up. My throttle cable broke before I got it started, threw a mountain bike shifter cable in there to get me through the weekend. They’re cheap, you get what you pay for, but a brand new dirt bike for ~$850 shipped, it’s worth it all day.

About 2/3 years ago I learned how to ride a dirt bike using this video. Now I place in the top 20 under 16 MX riders in the uk for the 125 class. I ride a KTM 125 SX :)

I'm 24 never rode or anything and just bought a used pit bike to learn and not break anything. Your video is very helpful and you're really good at explaining this! I feel more confident and hopefully can master this and work my way up to a man bike. But we all had to crawl before we could ride right?
