I bought the new 7artisans 7.5 f2,8 Mark II fisheye (ED lens) for Fujifilm X and i was quite happy until i discovered an issue on my lens...
I'm waiting an official reply from 7artisans but i will probably ask for a replacement, since can be a nice lens to use.
**UPDATE 2**: A friend of mine got another unit (Fuji X) and this has no issues. The only cons (as on my review) on this lens are flares, tiny bit too much but for this price is a good lens.
**UPDATE**: 7Artisans confirmed the focus issue on my unit and i got a refund.
i will buy a new one when it will be available directly from Amazon, since it takes around 2 weeks to have it from China and i had to send back my unit to Germany.
PS: the little screwdrive was for the old 7.5mm version, where you can adjust the focus with 3 little external screws on the focus ring.

This review made me think. I was looking at the Mark 1 version and saw they just released this one. I saw some images very sharp with the original one. Have you tried using focus peeking in your camera to see where and what is in focus?
yes, i tried but camera is not very precise when you mount fisheyes on focus peeking, also using the magnifier doesn't help much more, since details are very small.
the only way to check is doing tests like the one i did.
By the way, i think it's my sample that has a faulty alignment; waiting for a friend to try his Sony E version.
I will also do a comparison with the Samyang 8 mm f2,8 II.
🤓 The screwdriver is probably to set the hyper focal distance scale?

Yes on all the other lenses but not in the new 7.5 fisheye.
This mark two is better than the first?
Image quality is better.

100% manual
