Totally agree, the hardest part is being able to put your feelings aside and to focus on maintaining the friendship part of your interactions. If you can do that then I think its totally achievable.

What matters most is doing what you know will work best for you. It's possible to maintain a friendship while still holding feelings for someone, but it's going to require you to put those feelings aside to instead commit to something other than what you may want. For some people, it may feel too hard for them to do so pulling away from the friendship, gaining some space and letting those feelings dissolve might be the best course of action to take.
Neither of those texts are gonna work man it sounds way too needy. Remember the guys she is seeing and banging do not send essays or desperate texts. You just say I am not tryna be friends, "If I take you out its gonna be a be date if not cool."
That's another way to phrase it. I think ultimately everyone should say it in their own voice and use the words that align best with how they feel comfortable speaking. I would say though that the intention behind both our phrasing remains similar though.

If she isn't interested in pursuing the type of relationship you want, you now have to make the difficult choice of accepting just a friendship while trying to put your feelings aside or walking away from the friendship with her.
