Ralph and LeAnn, my husband and I are retired... We absolutely love making a cup of coffee and watching your videos.. as well As alll the Doss 's videos ! My husband has stage 5 dementia along with other health issues and is terminal... He thinks that your videos are the best in UA-cam land !! We homesteaded with three daughters ..... for 54 years before we gave up all our animals and gardening .. We are still on our land and garden in pots on the deck now... We have 9 grandkids and 3 great grandkids. !!
We fit right in with your life ! Please pray for my Dan ... I want to keep him here with me as long as I can ! I need strength to take care of him.. so I can use prayer too !!!

I’m praying for Dan and you, too. I lost my husband to dementia in February, 2020. A year later, I was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer. The past 4 years have been very hard. I have been taking chemo (infusion or orally) for 1-1/2 years now. My cancer is in remission but chemo takes a terrible toll on my body and mind. I have recently started planting flowers in huge pots on my porch and patio. Even through it all, God has blessed me so richly. I pray for all of you who are having sickness and trials. ❤️🙏🏻

Hey just asking for prayers. Not so much for me. But my boyfriend has stage 4 lung cancer!! It's wearied known him for a little while but never dated. And now we are. Such a wonderful man. And Monday find out he has cancer. Not sure how to handle. His name is Rich. He's the best thing ever happened to me. So please pray he will be ok. I need him. Thank you. Grandpa, the 2nd fence, was a great idea. It does bring peace of mind. The new hay feeder was a hit with the smaller three goats. Azaleas are beautiful when the flowers bloom. They can really grow, so I used to trim them back in the late fall. Praying for all that are in need. Praying for those who were affected by the severe weather and tornados.

Romper room was a kids show in the 60's, here in Australia. The host would say "Romper bomper stomper boo, tell me tell me tell me who. Magic mirror tell me today, have all of my friends had fun at play? " Then the host would look through a hand-held mirror and call out the names of the children she could see. I loved that show! ❤🐨

My dad was in Joplin that night having dinner with his cousin. Actually he was there a week before and that day and night he was so shook up. I'll never forget. I'm so sorry y'all went through that too. God bless you all❤❤❤

My Mom would remember Romper Room, but not my dad. When Mom had a baby she was home for a few years... but dad always worked. Guess that's how it went for a lot of us!
Just like Joplin, also in 2011, the town of Ringgold GA in NW GA where I live was basically wiped off the map. I'm about 10miles from Ringgold and to this day there have been a lot of areas that never rebuilt. I will never forget that day..the outbreak was all around me. Chattanooga had one tornado hit twice and destroyed so so much. God has spared me twice since I have lived where I am now. The Easter tornado of 2020 that came down in East Ridge TN finally touched down about half a mile from me but it almost came down on top of me. I live in a mobile home and no longer drive and when the debris started hitting my trailer and the power went out, I'm not embarrassed to say that I was screaming Jesus because I thought that was it and I was on my way to meet Him. Ever since, I have had anxiety issues whenever storms pass through this area. So when I see what happened to Sulphur, my heart and prayers go out to all effected🙏🙏🙏

All of my Oklahoma UA-camrs instantly came to mind when I heard about Sulphur! I prayed right then and there that you were all ok. I know y’all are in Missouri but close enough. You never know who all would be affected in some way. Just know all affected are still in my prayers. I’m six hours from Sulphur yet I’m still trying to figure out a way I can help besides monetarily. I’m a boots on the ground kinda gal. I guess I should throw my sleeping bag in the car as well as anything else I would need and just go. I look at it this way. When God lays something on your heart and it just won’t go away, that means listen to God! I’m a 62 yr old widow who lost her husband to brain cancer four years ago. Helping others helps my grief. End of story.

Moving the fence is a great idea, repurposing the pig pool is a fine ideal. It's always better to use what you have, than throw it away and buy new. ☺

You can put moth balls down to keep snakes out but maybe put moth balls in flower bed may keep the chickens out because of scent. I don't think it will hurt flowers, but after they stay out, you could stop.
I have used moth balls, sprays, grated Irish Spring soap, etc. to try to deter squirrels and feral cats....nothing is 100%. The closest thing to work for me is hot pepper. Grandma deserves her flower beds and the entire living area to be chicken free.
LeAnne the name of the Children’s show was Romper Room. She would look through a looking glass and you hoped she would say your name. It was on from 1953-2008.
I remember that. I actually won a bracelet from them. Mom took me to the t.v. station to pick it up. I think we had to write something special about our Mom. Something like that. I was maybe 5 years old.

When I turned 5 yrs old, my best friend gave me a Romper Room suitcase, one day I got mad at my Mother,packed the suitcase, only thing that would fit was my "footie Pj's" dropdown butt opening😅, left the house, I was running Away!, didn't get far just to the end of the street, because, I was not allowed to cross the busy main street😅 Love❤ Doss Farm😊
Hello LeaAnn and Ralph, I think it is a very good idea to make their front yard to the chicken pen a lot smaller. It's not like they are using that area. You have them free ranging, and they seem to be enjoying it very much. The littles seem to be fully adopted into the goat clan, and everyone is getting along well. Looks like LeaAnn is going to need a puppy saddle and harness pretty soon. The puppies are huge and getting bigger all the time.
Oh grandma, I love it when you throw some zingers at grandpa, it keeps him on his toes lol. If those chickens keep going in your flower beds you and grandpa will be eating a lot of chicken and dumplings ♥️🙏🏻🇨🇦

LeAnne that was Romper Room. Get yourself either a hose with a spray nozzle or a spray bottle and every time those little suckers get near your flower beds squirt them. Doesn't hurt them and tells them that they are not welcome there.
