The driving skill is cooler then you realized. If you use agency vehicles they transform into cooler and faster models the more you level up the skill.
I can confirm this is an accurate representation of what it's like to live in an American city. Just the other day I was late to work because a super soldier police officer picked my car up and threw it 100 feet to kill a gang member that had been shooting rockets.
@@conformistbastard9842 It's not a copy of that joke at all, they were just corroborating the joke as per what the video said, which was 'I'm sure my fellow Americans will back me up on this'.
I think this was the first 360 game I got and it was very addicting. I remember trying to scale buildings I wasn't upgraded enough to climb and kicking cars into other cars. Too bad the rest of the series never captured my attention.
As a fellow American, I can confirm that it is exactly as they say. If anything, it's a little downplayed. I had take down a cartel drug ring last night just to get some ice cream from my local store.

this game always felt like the best 8/10 game I'd ever played. The sum of it's decent yet not extemporary parts all stitched together to make a 10/10 experience. I still play this at least once a year as it's very pick up and play and enormously fun easy gaming
Honeslty Crackdown 1 and 2 are sort of like Wind Waker. They have aged incredibly well graphically. The only real changes I'd like is if they brightened some colors, and a couple of grass textures.
I think it was the final boss (some old chinese guy with a big fu manchu), but I remember I just drove the agency 4x4 into an elevator using its "crouch" ability and got to the top floor, then ran the old bastard down. I love it when you can find weird ways to do stuff in videogames....I was only about 9 when I played this but still remember it vividly!
I wish I grew up with this series. I now own all 3 of them and think it is super underrated. Even comparing it with other super hero games of its time like Infamous and Prototype, I think that Crackdown had arguably aged the best. The gameplay loop is simple enough to replay, and graphically all 3 games look very good due their art style. Honestly this series feels like something Nintendo would have done, and I think it would be perfect on Switch.

I'm playing crackdown 1 and 2 at the moment.
