    Nice I could learn Drytron. This ritual event forced me trying Megalith Drytron. Still awkward to use it because starter card is limited to 1. Kinda sad your channel didn't make video for this event.

    drytron best deck, what is your winrate in s21 btw ?

    • @densai89
      @densai89  Рік тому +2

      Going from Diamond to Master rank I was around 70% win rate. It started dropping down from there when I got into Master 3. I don’t have the guts to show the Match History in Master 3 🤣😭🤣😭. I hit a brick wall. I played for like 5-6 hours on the 2nd last day before the season ended and I just couldn’t get to Master 2. If I won 3 games in a row I lose the next 3 in a row. It was mostly Purrely or Labyrinth ever other duel. Hopefully season 22 will be better.

    I don't get why you'd play small world instead of jack in the hand

    • @densai89

      Most Drytron combos start with Alpha + Zeta so they will usually always take those cards when you play Jack in the hand. I know you still have two choices but it might not be the cards you wanted. I heard someone say a strategy is to choose Kurikara as one of the choices and opponent will almost always choose her to keep in their hand so you are free to chose the combo piece you need.
      Small World almost always guarantees you can get whatever monster you need at the moment, whether they are combo pieces or not. As long as you have Kurikara in your deck, you can search virtually any monster in the deck including Ash and Droll if you need those too after you already completed your combos and have extra monsters in hand that you rather have be a hand trap on opponent’s turn.
      Small World was more of just testing. Most of the time it was a life saver. Other times, Jack in the hand would be nicer. I think I might remove those cards to make room for Triple Tactics Thrust once it’s released.

      Thank you for your interest. I've had a lot going. Recently changed from working a late 2nd shift (start at 4PM) to an early 1st shift (start at 5AM). My sleep schedule is messed up and I'm always tired. I've worked 2nd shift my whole life until now so it's not an easy transition. I was able to finish level 20 on Duelist Cup so I'll try to upload that. Kind of long because it's mostly live unedited & uncut footage.

    Could Chaos MAX dragon work with this deck fine? 🤔

    • @densai89
      @densai89  11 місяців тому +1

      Yes. You can any two monsters to Link summon Geonator Transverser. Use her effect to switch control of two monsters she points to. Since almost every Drytron summons themself in defense position and have 0 defense points and your opponent now controls it, it’s a perfect target for Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon to OTK in one attack.

    How do you play against exosister?

    • @densai89
      @densai89  Рік тому

      Exosisters are difficult to deal with as they naturally hard counter Drytrons. If you are going 2nd against them, good chance you might lose. They banish Drytron cards, which Drytron doesn’t like to get banished (Drytron Beta Rastaban can recover a banished card but no one likes to play him) and they gain further advantage when we access cards in our graveyard. I don't think I've seen an Exosister deck this season (I have poor memory) so you should be safe if you get to higher ranks. You see a lot of diverse decks at lower ranks below Diamond.
      Exosister Kaspitell turns off special summons from GY and Exosister Asophiel turns off card effects in the GY, do not let these Xyz effects resolve if possible. Nibiru or other kaiju like monsters turn off their trap card, Exosister Returnia, which requires them to only control Exosisters in order to activate. If they don’t have backrow you most likely will be safe with a blanket negate like Dark Ruler No More or Droplet. Their backrow cards are what throws me off as they all special summon more monsters after you already dealt with the ones currently on the board. Board breakers like Evenly Matched, Raigeki, Dark Hole, etc should be a good way to start your turn 2 as they have no way to protect their monsters. You can Ash Blossom the activated hand effect of Martha attempting to special herself along with another monster from deck and when they activate their trap card Exosister Vadis which special summons 2 monsters from deck.
      If you’re playing Drytron, Vanity’s Ruler and Amorphactor Pain makes Xyz monsters useless. If you’re able to get Diviner on field and send Herald of the Arc Light or Elder Entity N’tss, Diviner will become level 6, use another Drytron (level 1) on field to Synchro Summon Black Rose Dragon (level 7) to destroy all cards on the field. You should be safe to combo after unless they have handtraps. This combo can easily be done without manipulating cards in your GY so this does not trigger their Exosister monster effects to Xyz summon. Use two Drytrons to Xyz summon Kikinagashi Fucho (it’s unaffected by card effects so it’s protected from getting banished) and attack their defense monster, might need to skip going into Downerd Magician in case they have some way to banish it, go straight into Zeus and board wipe. Unless they have Imperm (they usually play 3), they have no way to stop Zeus effect.
