    The Danger Darkworld player just spamming was hilarious. Thank god they had no outs. I hate Danger Darkworld because it takes TOO FUCKING LONG to do shit

    The duel against Danger Dark World, they weren't just pressing buttons. They were try to both get to Grapha and then hit the Grapha out of their own hand. But the Dangers all missed the Grapha.

    Tremendous what the deck can do, I am starting with drytron but it is very difficult, almost no one makes updated guides (only TCG), would you have a list of combos? thanks :)

      It probably is a little easier to play Drytron in TCG since they don't have to deal with Maxx C, less people are playing Kashtira with the new ban list, and almost everyone using Bystials in Master Duel. Ever since Ishizu Tearlaments came out (shuffling away your GY effects), now Bystials (banishing Drytrons when they activate in GY) and Kashtira only getting stronger (Kashtira Arise-Heart will banish all cards going to GY), it can often be challenging to play Drytron. Maybe Drytron will become strong in Master Duel after Konami bans Kashtira cards. Until then, it's an uphill battle when the strongest decks already have an inherent advantage over you.
      Average opening combo:
      1) Drytron Alpha tribute Drytron Zeta to special summon Alpha > search Cyber Angel Benten.
      2) Drytron Zeta tribute from GY Cyber Angel Benten in hand to special summon Zeta from GY > search ritual spell (mostly Meteonis Drytron or any other ritual card in the game).
      3) Cyber Angel Benten activates from being tributed (she will trigger even if she is banished as long as she was tributed) > search any Light Fairy (Diviner of the Herald, Artifact Lancea, Herald of Perfection/Ultimateness, Vanity's Fiend, Herald of Orange Light, etc) from deck (most people grab another Benten to extend.)
      4) Alpha + Zeta on field Xyz summon Drytron Mu Beta Fafnir.
      5) Activate Mu Beta's effect to send Drytron Gamma (or any other Drytron card) from deck to GY.
      Like 95% of the time if you could do this combo, this is what almost every Drytron player does. It starts branching out after these 5 steps depending on what your deck is built to do. Also, you'll have to do some awkward combo if you do not open Alpha and Zeta. A lot of new decks can full combo with 1 card, but Drytron needs 2 cards to combo.
      Drytrons can play any Extra Deck type of monsters (Fusions, Synchros, Xyzs, Links). There's Herald Drytrons (most common way to play the deck), Megalith Drytron (big combo plays), Branded Drytron, force opponent to skip their turn (think there's AT LEAST 5 variations of this strategy I think), Vanity's Ruler with protection to lock opponent from special summons, OTK with White Relic of Dogmatika (easily direct attack with over 8000 damage), Artifact Scythe and Abyss Dweller to lock out extra deck and GY at the same time, infinite Life Points and ATK gaining with Clockwork Night, rip cards out of opponent's hand by summoning Evigishki Gustkraken multiple times, Mikanko Drytron (there's an FTK version of this deck). That's all I can list off the top of my head. If you're interested in a specific build, you can name that deck and I can try to elaborate if I know how to play it. I have the most experience with Turn Skip, Vanity's Ruler and Amorphactor Pain builds.
      Drytrons can be as diverse as you want them to be, but they are mainly restricted by their 1 condition in that you cannot special summon ANY main deck monster UNLESS that monster cannot be normal summoned/set. You must be mindful of what you can and cannot special summon. Normal Summons are very limited in this archetype because of the restriction, you want the summon to really count and have it do something. That's why Diviner of the Herald is usually the one and only normal summon of the deck. This is an odd concept that took me a while to fully grasp when learning the deck.

    Game againsed purrely you could have ended amorphactor no? Normal diviner -> send arc light -> add Ritual Spell -> Meteonis special benten with gamma -> make beatrice -> send alpha -> special alpha sending amorphactor -> add big drytron -> Ritual spell target alpha -> Ritual pain with big drytron -> Go I:P with alpha and beatrice if you desire. Would work right?

    I love Drytrons and I enjoy watching them being played with dexterity as you do! Thanks a lot for sharing your gameplays!
    Also I’d like to ask, what do you recommend to do when you go first and a Maxx C lands you? Honestly I either end up giving my opponent half their deck on hand or end up doing too little to stop an OTK 😅

    • @densai89
      @densai89  Рік тому +1

      Thank you! I still misplay often, but that’s why we have replays to learn from our mistakes.
      For Max C it depends on my hand. If I have a way to get to Vanity’s Ruler or Amorphactor Pain in as few special summons as possible, I’ll at least try to floodgate them. Vanity’s Ruler will often be protected by Herald of Mirage Lights or Magikey ritual + counter trap but that requires full combo so I just Alpha > Benten > any Drytron tribute Benten > search Vanity’s Ruler and tribute both Drytrons on field to summon Vanity’s Ruler. They’ll draw 2 cards (+1 in card advantage) from the Drytron summons and start their turn with 7 cards. Most of the time, that is enough to buy more turns (they set a bunch of cards) or they instantly surrender. Amorphactor Pain forces them to skip phases so 99% of the time they go straight to Main Phase 2. Even if they get rid of him, you get another turn because they couldn’t OTK you. Besides that, it’s all up to luck if you survive by leaving an open field if you go first.
      If I’m going 2nd and they drop Maxx C, I’ll usually always take the challenge because it’s just the way I am and good chance they’ll OTK you anyway if you pass turn. The power creep is only going to get stronger in this game and all they need is 1 turn to win. They already established a field while you hesitate to establish your own. Keep in mind Maxx C is a draw, so they still have to draw into a hand trap to stop you. They might draw a brick (another Maxx C) or other cards that cannot do anything at the moment. If you already played through a hand trap then you might not have to fear another because some are hard one per turn (Ash Blossom, Ghost Belle, Ghost Ogre, Nibiru) so you could keep pushing if you can OTK. It is more difficult to push against 1 card full combo decks like Evil Twin and Marincess because they easily play 12+ hand traps and have high chance to draw into those disruptions.

    man what's with the Mikanko players in vid ? They just literally tell you to OTK them instead, truly a shame for our Mikanko user

    • @jaycarl85
      @jaycarl85 10 місяців тому

      Yeah I wonder what the other cards were if he had to discard double edged sword. Oomfie plus a discard should be OTK turn 3 if uninterrupted even with an empty board.

  • @Kyugired
    @Kyugired 9 місяців тому

    10:31 Quick note: Mikanko can in fact, Kill you even if you don't have any monsters. How? Well, by utilizing "Double-Edged Sword' and attacking you dealing 2k, and because it deals dmg to both players and Mikanko reflects damage done to them, you take another 2k. How is that Otk you might ask? Well after taking 2k damage, that equip spell breaks,but using the Effect of Ohime, they can reequip it to another Mikanko and thus deal the final blow to you.
    Note: This doesn't mean you're decision was wrong, I'm just sharing information that "A good Mikanko Player, that knows how to pilot the deck would defenitely find a way to OTK."
    Hope this helps! Keep up the good work my friend!

    Why do you play Borrelsword Dragon instead of Accesscode?

    • @densai89
      @densai89  Рік тому +1

      I think it really depends on what the player likes. I watch LoganJYA and this topic often comes up in almost every deck profile, along with the Linkuriboh vs Relinquished Anima debate. I do prefer to play Accesscode in my Turn Skip version because I usually already have a Link 3 Auroradon on field. I might play Accesscode in the future, but it feels more fun with Borrelsword at the moment. Personally, there has been more games where I couldn't OTK with an Accesscode only to have them beat me next turn. I feel like Borrelsword wins me more games. Field is open, minimum you need Borrelsword (attack twice for 6000) and 1 Drytron (2000 ATK) to deal 8000 damage with only 2 monsters. For Accesscode, usually you're at 5300 and need 2700 more damage on board. It might be worse when you're forced to use 2 Link 2s or a Link 2 and 2 other bodies to summon Accesscode and now he's at 4300 ATK and have to make up more damage. Master Duel Meta seems to be showing Borrelsword is the ideal choice at 60%-80% of all Dyrtron decks using it versus Accesscode Talker at 20%. Accesscode is more versatile though.
      Borrelsword Dragon:
      -usually deals more overall damage compared to Accesscode (attack twice).
      -easier to OTK even if opponent still has monsters on board
      -can usually beat over high attack monsters that cannot be destroyed by effects
      -battle protection
      -protect yourself by forcing opponent's monster to defense position
      -does not need Link climbing for optimal summoning
      Accesscode Talker:
      -need to have multiple Link Attributes in GY for destruction effect (usually 2-3 pops at most?)
      -best to use at least a Link 3 or higher for optimal ATK boost
      -best chance to OTK is when opponent has no monsters on field
      -safer to OTK by removing opponent's backrow cards
      -in specific scenarios, can remove problematic cards like Skill Drain by banishing itself off field (desperate move that works)
      -besides opponent cannot respond to its effects, it has no protection
      -if they negate it during an open game state (imperm, veiler, etc) it is now a 2300 monster that can't really do anything
      -if you cannot OTK, it doesn't do anything on opponent's turn so it gives them a chance to come back
      -probably better in Drytron decks that rely more on Link summoning (Turn Skip versions or Heralds version that usually go I:P > Unicorn disrupt > Accesscode)

    • @densai89

      As stated, a lot of people are main decking kaijus to out Noir. Mikanko also main deck them for OTK and I've encountered more Mikanko than Purrely decks. Amorphactor Pain forces them to skip phases so even if they out him, you still get another turn. He is my go-to ritual summon 95% of the time. He's good against outting Chaos Angel, Psychic End Punisher, Noir (Extra Deck monsters that most decks have a very hard time killing). Main decking Bystials and Link summoning, Dragon Link is the most difficult matchup for me.
      Vanity's Ruler and Diviner are the only 2 normal summons so you'll have to choose which route to take. Diviner good for baiting negates, combo when you have a weak hand (1 Drytron name) and is pretty standard for Herald combos. Vanity's Ruler is good if they Maxx C you. Minimum 2 Drytron special summons, then you tribute summon him. Most likely they can't get rid of it and either set some cards or surrender immediately.
      I like Heralds, I just don't like playing them. They are the main (omni) negates of Drytron but they're kind of bricks if you don't have the setup for them. Maybe in the future Heralds might be fun with Choju of the Trillion Hands. In the TCG most players use that card to grab Herald of Perfection and Dawn of the Herald.
