    Hi. My question will the MV-1 allow you to layer up to maybe 4 drum sounds in a same pad? Mainly for drumming articulations.

      Not that I know of. You would have to use 4 pads.

    How does this compare to native instruments machine?

      It’s like a Maschine+ just much more affordable and with a powerful vocal processor (but only 8 tracks of up to 16 sounds each)

      The MV-1 is dawless, and does not need a computer to function, only power, portable powerbank, and a speaker or headphones! 😊

    YOU GUYS HAVE TO MAKE SAMPLE EDITING FASTER. Editing sample start and end points is a disaster, even holding shift. 100x , 1000x.
    We need 10000x. Because it takes FOREVER.
    It’s faster on the 404, MV8000 even my S330
    Rackmount. I own MPC’s. And if you want to compete with the MPC ONE which is the same price. THIS MUST BE FIXED .
    I was told by a Roland product guy to sample in smaller chunks. It would be easier
    NOOOOOOOOO. It’s a sampler. Shouldn’t have to do that . Everyone I see that has an MV complains about this issue.
    Editing should be quick and easy on samples.
    In its current state. This is not good for sample based production.
    😳 Makes me wonder why no one is showing the sampling features of this machine. In their tutorial videos.

      Hey there, the main function of the MV-1 wasn't it's sampling capability. Yes, you can sample...even import and edit...but the strength of the unit is really allowing you to finish a song by giving the user a large sound library and ability to record instruments/vocals via the vocal track. It's not meant to be a MPC ONE...because the MPC ONE's strength is sampling. The purpose of the MV-1 is that it's a tool that caters to a different segment of the production market

      @@descry1 Wtf are you saying ? The MV1 does sample and does edit the sounds. However it is a pain in the ass to use it because the start and end points edition when slicing is ridiculously fucked up in the machine. So please shut up and don't tell bullcrap and let Mike talking the truth so Roland fixes an obvious issue.

    • @descry1
      @descry1 2 роки тому

      @@nick9486 right, that's the reason why I said sampling is not the primary focus of the machine. Because it's a bit more challenge to execute those types of functions. However, noted what was said and will explore improvements as mentioned.

      @@descry1 As Mike said, if we could move the starting and ending marks by 10000x it would solve the issue easily honestly. The MV1 is already capable of doing everything about samples. BUT the chopping is broken so it ruins the whole process. This is an issue flawing the actual concept of the machine. Sorry for the yelling in previous message, Roland needs to notice the issue and fix it.
