This is a reliable script. It's fun to do as well. Doing that roaming ballista is satisfying and that dragonrazer is the finishing touch. This is a step by step guide on how to solo the event quest easily with no op decorations or equipment.
This is better than farming astral melding tickets and better than going into ancient forest and chasing a zinogre. This quest gives GUARANTEED THREE SEALED FEYSTONES. These SEALED FEYSTONES would give you those high rarity decos better than an astral medling ticket. To date, 'til lunastra or teostra gets released - this is actually the BEST QUEST FOR JEWELS/DECORATIONS in mhw iceborne.

This hunt is not a speedrun - we want a consistent script, with a decent time using trash equipment.
If you have a shield spread build. Just bring that to a fight. You need to count shots for kushala because you have to lock it or else it will fly but for teostra.. just bring a shield spread setup with 3 shield mods - you'll do fine. I tried to make a trash set with spread.. tried it... nah... this trash sticky set is better and more consistent.

It’s funny....I had a random team of 3 with me (so 4 hunters) and one was running a Spread HBG. Idk if they were running the set or not. But it looked like they were using the Zinogre NBG, soooooo. Anyways, she fainted twice. But it was funny cuz when we failed the quest she said: “sorry that was kinda on me” and I responded along the lines of: “your fine, what happened to you is why I don’t bring HBG to a Teo fight xD”
Attack Jewel+ 4?!
@@R3LOADlikesgames Spread HBG + Special Scope is pretty strong against Teo. Its just not good in multiplayer when people are not coordinated. I based my set off of one of AngBata's Comfy builds, its a mix of 1 shield, Special Scope, 3CR mods, Guard 3, and Offensive Guard. Its extremely punishing against all of Teo's flame attacks.

i would fight teostra as a gunna, but this is actually a tolerable fight with melee.

@@puhgeh Idk Im having a fuck ton of fun fighting it rn. I just got into Spread HBGs + Special Scope so its been a fucking blast. I'd just say fight it with whatever you have fun with. Never tried Spread HBGs till this quest came out and its been amazing.
Fighting teostra is quite boring if you keep using the same weapon and strategy.

I use that mod too just because I'm not very lucky with jewel drops and don't wanna spend that much time in grinding. in mhfu, mhp3rd etc you also had to farm monster items to craft all specific jewels BUT you were independent of drop rates for jewels. hope I could help

@Josh derp a year ago iceborne came out ... so it was impossible on release to have attack 4 jewel , personally i have 1100 hours and im ok with my jewels (i farmed a lot tho) , my comment was for fun you don't need to be aggressive .
@@gamingispleasure8436 Depends how much you played/farmed and your rng,personality I always get trash jewels so I haven't seen an lv 4 attack jewel yet, tho i haven't grinded that much.
I love watching monster hunter content because there’s people that love learning monsters movesets to successfully perform counterattacks with a longsword so frequently it that it’s like watching a flashy dance... and then there’s people who get fed up with a particular monster, and want it to suffer. That’s when they bring a big f****n GUN and plan the fight out immaculately, like a master chef constantly mixing things together and using their own recipe for violence.
Worked really welll with Aqua shot and optimized gear to this day. Thank you. Havent tried the furios rajang hbg

well another great video Ang. The problem for me is learning a new scripted kill. i seem to goof it up ( either i muff the dragonrazer or mess up the initial flinch sequence, i guess i just need more practice)at some point (with Kushala) then i get involved in a much longer fight. i will try this sticky one again. But at least with devil doggie its a way more relaxed fight for me and virtually no chance of carting. yes, it takes a bit longer but there's something to be said for comfort. Actually i did 8 runs of the devil doggie and on two of them i got 4 sealed feystones yesterday. i got a couple of good jewels out of the runs (a crit/vitality yay!).

Ooh yeah, he's had a few tweaks from what I've noticed. His move recovery also seems to be quicker.

I fucked up the first time because I did a mistake but the 2nd time I got the hang of it and it went really smooth, I did'nt even needed the smoke bomb because he topples from the dragon razer, I also had some heavy artillery jewel I used in the rocksteady mantle. I mostly use Hammer & Sword and Shield. Thank you!

Holy crap this worked. I do not use bowgun, and this still worked even for an idiot like myself, in my first hunt using health augment (That's the thing that took the longest to get preparing to follow this script cause I just noped the fuck away from Guiding Lands)
It doesn't matter. Throw anything at me. I always use shieldspire in solo to position the monster and make it stand still as i doot it to death.
Windpressure? Never heard of it.
Bouncing? Minds eye? Don't know or need that.
Slow in the snow? No.
Elemental Blights? Can't touch me.

Fought him with a LBG ver. got time under 20 min, going to use this method instead. Got me a WEX/Main Deco out of him though. Need more Crit/ lvl 4 Decos though.... :/

This Teostra coughed up a Furor+ deco for me a little bit ago. This was the quest I was waiting for. I did it with spread hbg but found my hammer was slightly faster. Probably cause I suck but, meh, it gives good decos for practically free.

Hey angbata I been watching ur videos for a while now and they are super great u helped me out with some many builds even used ur recent kushala script thanks alot bro. . However there is one technique that I cant recall u talking about when using sticky ammo and its ...shooting the sticky on the ground near the monster so that it explodes instantly which for more dps and same stun/KO is proc faster. . . Well I'm bringing it to ur attention incase u didnt kno and if u did kno then I hope this knowledge has now been pasted on to someone in the comments...
That isn't higher DPS since no matter what, the stickies will explode and deal damage to the monster. However, if the monster moves away from the sticky after you shoot at the ground then you won't deal any damage at all. It's best to just shoot at the monster for the guaranteed damage. The delay does not have any effect on DPS.

please make a tutorial video for using the hbg on pc. please cover the following: #1 mouse and keyboard bindings (with cam angled at your hands while using the hbg or the lbg #2 showtutorial on ho to craft ammo during the hunt and perhaps show us your load out and where to get the items needed to craft said ammo etc #3 and maybe teach us where or how to obtain all palico tools im tred of searching for tutorial vids that take 20 minutes to watch also it would be nice if it came from you also please encourage retrou to make a hammer in depth guide

Isn't the duffel penguin quest (duffel duty) the better quest to farm decos with? You can complete it in seconds with 2 people or under 1min solo (depends on how lucky you are in zone 12 catching them) and you get 1-6 feystones (depending on luck) in the rewards. Plenty 4-slot decos come out of that since they're all Ancient Feystones in the rewards. Me and my missis farm that one for decos :)
Much faster, much easier, no stress, no materials consumed farming it. Just smooth sailing. Quickly fills up the steamworks fuel too, so you can fuck around with it for melding tickets as well.
Im pretty sure ancient feystones dont drop the rare 4 slot decos.

Pretty sure you need the shield palico to be at 15. At level 10, Teostra doesn't appear to be seeing it and is going after me when I'm on the gatling gun.

yeah i was blessed with RNJesus and got a second Attack+4 from the devil doggie. doesnt really matter which quest you do its all up to RNJesus. i did about 5 runs with Kushala and got nothing useful and really for me it just seems like i've gotten better decos from devil doggie. maybe i just need to run the arena quest more but i've got devil doggie down pat to a very relaxed run.

works well but really iffy my palico doesn't put down the aggro doll all the time whenever i wall bang teo also i have no idea how you have 4 sticky ammo slots i only have three so i can't really knock down teo in one go and run to the turret

How do I craft sticky lvl 3 without having to go through the crafting menu? I have it on the radial but doesn’t work for me

So... this is another case of "won't work or be nearly as consistent unless you abuse one of the most powerful build/weapon combos in the game's lifetime, AND craft ammo at the speed of light throughout the quest"? Like I said, it's a fun video, and the tip is useful for people who play sticky HBG - and possibly other types of HBG, sure. But for anyone who uses a melee weapon, this method won't work, at all - and as a result, other farming methods are probably going to be more useful for all those people.
Even assuming his claims about the efficiency of this method are accurate, they're only accurate for someone using sticky HBG, which makes the other claim of the video, the 'low effort/requirements' claim, inaccurate.
@@tc_pepsi8272 I will gladly admit that I am a fairly new players, which is why I feel the need to look up guides on how to do things like this. I will also gladly admit that seeing clip after clip where the person uses only bowguns and shows off only how to do it with a bowgun gets more than a little frustrating.

yes it does
no bombardier affects explosive items like barrel bombs, artillery affects stuff like stickies impact phials and gunlance shells
i always lance on teo because it's easier and more fun to use.
I fight him with evade window and rapid fire ice and its quite easy

Man the gun weapons always seem so strong to me because I mained SnS to start, dual blades for the rest of the campaign and now I main insect glaive, which only does a lot of damage on certain attacks

How in the m***erf****ng hell do you do 170 dmg/stk3 on a demonbuster, NOT possible. I use the Rajang Destroyer (less DPS, more Wyvern ammo umpfff) which has 30 more TRUE RAW, artillery 5 ofc, peak performance 3, agitator 7 and having all of that active i do a miserable 171 and 153 when inactive (PP and Agi)....... Seriously, f*ck this game, wtf?
