That's so weird. Before damage caps (pre-Proud) C3 is trash and only C2 and C4 should be used for better damage, better break, better link generation considering the time dedication and hit boxes. Damage caps distort max rotation potential, I really hope they get dropped in the future.
It's simply because dmg and dmg cap are not in proportion. Each hit of C3 has much lower dmg compared to other combos but they share the same dmg cap. So once you can make C3 reach the dmg cap, it deals more dmg.
Hi, can I ask if you have tested the damage of Jump X > Y > dodge cancel Y combo, compare to C1 and C3? Afaik the world record on dummy test uses this rotation with skills, and i have been using it on proto bahamut whenever the head is not on the floor during SBA chains.
Hey, some results here. Its DPS is similar to or even slightly higher than C1 and C3, especially when you can't ensure C1 and C3 entirely hit the enemy. But it doesn't trigger the cd reduction sigil so you are losing a lot of Pain Train dmg. Personally I don't want to use this combo in actual combats.
Great thanks! I figured it might be a neat option in some dmg phases if pain train cant do max ticks, like whenever proto baha stands on the ship/final phase. Pain train only seems to do 2 ticks of dmg on claw/body. Also i kinda like it since its damage isnt as backloaded as C3.
@@Lyni_ That's a good point. Final phase of proto Baha is a pain. But I forgot to mention that the coverage of Phantasmagoria will also be affected if you use jump Y. This might need some focus in combats.
@@freakyplayer6 I am confident the defense is 30% but never really tried to check on the attack buff, though other players I have heard from seem to say 30% for it too

If i play on mouse+kb do you recommend switching to controllers? Would it be easier to do combos and stuff then?
I haven't played this game with mouse/kb. But I feel it's not well adapted to mouse/kb so controllers are likely to be better.

Not done tests myself but have heard of some results from my friends. As said, it's slightly lower than C3. I will test its cd reduction effect later.

I guess only the text you have entered becomes square and the text originally in the game stays normal. Just my guess.
Is it rly 30% crit chance bonus on phantasmogoria? What are the %s of atk and def buffs it gives if you could share

I've done some google as well, in other language though. Everything I can find tells me it's 30% but never shows why they are so sure...
