I am having issues with this :( I have my model working fine and uploaded but when i try to add a 3d object like a .pmx.. nothing seems to work :( any help is appreciated!
@@zoehobz4614 Sorry maybe I have misunderstood your case. Did you mean adding PMX as a 3D object in XR Animator's 3D scene builder? Note that if your avatar is VRM, you can only add the .X MMD format 3D object. Only when your avatar is PMX can you use PMX as 3D object.
@@AnimeThemeGadget OOOOOOOOO that might be the issue then.. i am using a .vrm model and trying to use a .pmx 3d object. so to fix it i need to use a .x scene with my .vrm model?
@@zoehobz4614 To summarize, if your avatar is PMX, you can use .pmx/.x as 3D object. If your avatar is VRM, you can use glTF(.glb) and .x as 3D object. You can pretty much convert any PMX object to X in PMXEditor in under one minute. Just like PMX, X object has to be zipped with all texture files included. The reason for separated support is that PMX and VRM are supported on 2 different versions of three.js libraries in XR Animator. PMX relies on an old legacy version, but is heavily optimized for MMD stuff, while VRM runs on the latest version supporting all those modern 3D standards, but is very limited in MMD support.
Incredible. Will try this asap - great job
woah... this is amazing
Thank you so much, Any video show how we use this app on Unreal engine? Thanks

MMD model has to be zipped with all textures included before you drop it to the app.
