R1 sounds like it has something like a low level SC Project CRT, but likely still the cat. On the other hand, the RSV4 clearly doesn't have a cat. Would have been a great comparison if they had the same exhaust mods.
@@dqc.sausages Maybe check for the rsv4 2015-2016 the exhaust is the same as we see on this video, it's an euro 3 regulation so 108db @ 5500 RPM, way more sound stock than any other japanese production
RSV4 and then the R1. R1 has a deeper sound. Both sound great. Both are my favorite bike's. But…I prefer the deeper more aggressive sound of the R1. Nice video from the same distance, same on/off throttle positioning, and track. Thanks. Great comparison video.
Can't tell so much here, but R1 sounds like it cannot decide if it wants to be in MotoGP or Moto2. RSV-4 at the other hand is just a more quiet Grand Prix bike - PURE!
From what i can tell the R1 seems like it running db killer or catted and RSV4 decat. Like people said it could have been a better comparison if both are decat. With that i would say R1 sounds better and sounds much louder, especially with Austin racing exhaust fully decat. Man that thing was insane on the mountain, or even on the freeway in the middle of the night, i could still hear the echoes and downshifts in my ear as it zooms in and out😂
There must have been a rev limit or a noise limit in place that day. Because obviously, that little chicane could have been taken much faster. I'm not saying those riders are bad riders, but I don't think they gave that chicane everything they could have.
At 0:18, that popping sounds great, put is very irritating when you are racing. It does that when you don't shift fully into the next gear. 🤦♂️ I have an RSV4. That's how I know.
It's actually Crossplane, Vs Crossplane... Being a V4 doesn't automatically change the sound, it's more about crankshaft design and firing other than cylinder config. The same goes for cars, a flatplane V8 and a Crossplane V8 will sound totally different while being both V8s.
The flat plane Yam is a good sounding bike...but the Aprilia is the best hands down. And at Monza...
Crossplane
Flatplane? Its a crossplane bro
@@derjaxxer Cheers, I always mix them up!
Yamaha Crossplane bruh

RSv4 SC PROJECT Exhaust is Heaven
Hell yes!!
Aprillia for sure
2 of the absolute best sounding bikes. Only 1 is the true king tho. The Aprilia.
Ducati Panigale V4 takes the no 3 spot
@@sushi_edits225 The panagale definitely sounds funky, not my favorite
Love the RSV4! 😁

Bro, the rsv4 has stock exhaust black body and silver tip
@@MrJeremydagorn You are deluded if you think that is stock muffler.

Since when is deeper more aggressive? Deeper almost always means slower.
Larz…Show me the facts on this. lol I'd like to see.
You say that because you're a R1 fanboy lol but there's nothing as deep as the rumble of a real V4... not a wanna be inline 4
@@ldmcnutt man i don't think panigale v4 is slow
@@pollo_da5778 hmm

Aprilia all day
aprilia rsv4 all day!!!
Aprilia is the best sound in the world😍😍
RSV4 will always be the best sounding bike.
Best 4 cylinder bike for sure but the Honda CBX 6 cylinder is slightly better sounding
CBX is #1 RSV4 is a close #2
@@tomtemple69 those do sound good 👍🏻
R1❤
That inline 4 is sounding deep
r1 got that smooth shifting
might have used the clutch to shift, but gotta love the aggressive rsv4 shifts :P
Aprilia RSV4 sounds Clean

No questions asked. Aprilia for me.
It's the cross plane for me

I had an R1 with a graves cat back and that thing straight up sounded like I belonged in an oval. Literally sounded like NASCAR lol
Ascari chicane & RSV4 ❤

Crossplane is definitely in between of both when it comes to sound.
R1 stock exhaust
Team yamaha 🔥
Cross plain and. V4. Sound both similar
The induction noise is better in r1, imo
Somebody tell me why r1 always sounds like v4....
Crossplane crankshaft.
It´s a fake V4 sound, cheap
Crossplane crankshaft,
The R1 is trying to be something it isnt and hence, it is a poser.
This post was made by the V4 gang.
@@Blakezilla594 you make us V4 riders sound like retards. Also there are crossplane bikes in the MotoGp...

R1 just on comfort wise, R1 has curves the rsv looks less curvy

Stupid comments lol
These bikes have different exhausts so no comparison
The R1 doesnt have a Full system.
I want that track for myself also wtf
Crossplane vs Crossplane
Aprilia is V4, not crossplane
Lol
