God man, you wanna talk about some inspiring dedication to craft. That moment Damian passed out and then held up his hand like he could keep going was insane.
The guys expressions at 6:11 really say a million words. At this point they had done days and days of flights/takes. I think it's clear that they have put their hearts into this video and they are just physically and mentally exhausted. My heart really goes out to OK Go and all those involved in creating the music video. This video is awesome, and you guys have raised the bar yet again. Keep up the fantastic work.
Russian people do have a lot of heart. If they want to help, there's no stopping all the kindness and generosity that comes out of them. Of course, not everybody in the country is like that, but there is something in the culture. I'm glad you got a taste of that! I really admire all of the work you and the crew went through. It's been an honor to witness it. You are spectacular
6:12 is such a powerful moment. As an artist, even at the end of your rope, when your body and soul are telling you you can’t. That’s when some of the best artists stand up, shut the voices up, push on, and show their dedication to their art form. The almost immediate “I’m for it.” goes to show how dedicated all of these guys are to getting the best in worst case scenarios, and rolling with the punches to give the world something we can all marvel at in awe.
Even more important, though, are the observations that they make about working with a group of earnest people despite a language barrier. That's the key, right there.
watching this (for the first time) 7 years later is so cool. Ok Go is the coolest band i have ever seen and their videos are something truly out of this world. i love love LOVE getting to see the behind the scenes to see the insane amount of time, effort, dedication, collaboration, practice, determination, and hard work that go into making these iconic magical pieces of art
This is my ABSOLUTE favorite behind the scenes video you have. It is really apparent how committed each of you is and while it’s apparent to the audience that you love your craft, it’s delightful to see how everyone gels to make it happen - whether they want to die from motion sickness or not. Bravo to you - yah we only get one life and you guys are killing it!

'Sir, we have a situation... One of the engines is... burning.' 'How many engines do we have?' 'Two, sir.' 'Nevermind, first we have to finish filming the best Ok Go's music video and then we'll do something. '
1:11-1:26 that happened to me on one roller coaster, although for more like two seconds rather than five. Surprised the hell out of me because I had been riding any type of coaster you can imagine for years; in fact, I went back and tried it again to make sure it had really happened, and sure enough, it happened again, same place, right at the bottom of the first loop. It was an old metal one with vertical loops that the park decided to speed up a little to attract riders again. I guess their calculations didn't include someone as out of shape as me. :-P Damien must be in super good shape to go through those flights for weeks before having that happen to him! I'll bet it was a similar situation as mine, where the blood went straight down and out of the head.
you guys need to work with Casey Neistatl from a filmmakers persective, the guy has so much and is always so invested, that you would make a perfect match.
