Not one of the...definitely the saddest death I've seen, ever. It is not like Beth was an ultimate favourite of mine... it was Daryl's reaction that made it a sobfest, and then Maggie's. She was about to see her sister again, and she did. Man that pissed me off.
The saddest death was Hershel's. That moment when everything goes silent and the Governor looks at Rick and says "Liar" before striking at his head would've been the saddest if it wouldn't have been followed by fighting
Daryl shooting Dawn, to me, was a no brainer for him. I feel like there was never a question in his mind of whether to shoot or not to. I also believe that Carol putting her hand on his shoulder was the only thing keeping him from shooting everyone in front of him. When Beth was shot, I didn't cry at first. At first I was shocked. Then, when I saw Daryl crying, I started tearing up. Then when it showed him carrying her out of the building I started crying, then when Maggie screamed and fell to her knees sobbing I damn near did the same. Mostly because I lost my brother a few years back and I knew exactly what she was feeling in that moment. This scene was by far one of the most emotional ones from me. Mostly because it wasn't overly bloody, but the emotional value was intense. You could feel the characters sadness come off the screen. Brilliantly done.
Bear McCreary is composing the music for the next Godzilla film. I can't wait to see what he does with it. He can instantly change the mood of the show The Walking Dead with his music. The Beth scene and Tyreese death scenes are proof of that. I know they want to create more empathy for Godzilla in the next film. McCreary's music will accomplish that.
It was 7 years ago, but I still remember how much I was crying and my husband couldn’t calm down me … very sad moment. Still I’ve got tears, then remember this moment…
I don't think beth was an angel, she could be annoying and stupid at times, but her absence on the show was definitely felt...I feel like she represents, on the whole, youth and innocence and a little something from the time before the apocalypse. Even though Carl was younger than her, he was a hardened soul and she wasn't. She was a young girl trying to make her way in the world, like me, and for that reason if nothing else I miss her on the show.
What gets to me about this scene is that our group did get Beth back at one point. When Rick put his hand on her head and spoke to her, the deal was done...for her. Rick and Daryl had her, she was safe...she was home. If Beth would have stayed behind Rick and Daryl, she would have lived. When Beth walked over to Dawn, I knew she was about to die. Seeing Daryl carry Beth's dead body out to Maggie was heartbreaking.
This breaks my heart, not just her death but as I’m on season 11 the final season, listening to this is bringing images of past characters that died on the show RIP to everyone we have lost on here
When the walking dead was actually good and when I actually cared about the characters. Who else here agrees that season 5 was the best season of the show.
This was for me the saddest death in TWD. Everything was sad, this song, Daryl destroyed, Maggie loosing all her family… well, what to say more, this destroyed me!😭😭😭
That one and only girl that opens up to you and accepts you for who you are .... you share your feelings with her And then she gets her brains blown right in your face .
I cried for hours after this dude. He cared so much for her. To me their relationship felt very brother-sister like. I miss them. “You’re gonna miss me so bad when I’m gone.”
Beth was a close favorite of mine and was so happy knowing she'd reunite with Daryl and Maggie just so they can see how much she had evolved, grown and changed for the better THEY SET HER UP TO DIE THE STUPIDEST WAY POSSIBLE! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
A series the walking dead that started in 2011, I was not lucky to watch it from the beginning because I didn't know this series is not repeated in history
people say that daryl fell in love with her but they could see as simple friends anyway this was a masterpiece of soundtrack and this was when the walking dead was a gold show
I cosplayed as dead Beth, (bullet wound in head) and when I met to see Norman, he complimented my cosplay then I said "that's not all" and tilted my head down to show him the bullet wound. I heard him awe and felt his hands on my head, I was assuming he was getting a closer look... until he kissed me. 😐😑
"you're gonna miss me so bad when i'm gone, daryl dixon"
Daryls got a shitton of baggage like especially after season 7 episode 1
NO WHY DO THIS TO ME
@@patgogan7324 oof
I agree
yes
This was definitely one of the saddest deaths in the entire series. Poor Maggie she has lost everything her father, brother, sister, and now Glenn.
Sci-Fi Weekly his brother and mother too

When he cries I laugh.
I said that in last week's episode of walking dead S9.

Daryl loved her!! :'(

As the years pass by it still hurts... Beth was a great character from The walking dead series.

is it sad i can hear maggies crying
I can hear her to :'(
I can hear her screaming for Beth
for glenn and beth. RIP!!! :(
Well ur really attached hahahahhhahaha
What made Beth such an amazing character for me was her ability to connect to Daryl, something very few others could do
She NEVER should have been killed off.

For such a sad and horrorful show, the music is super fantastic.
This episode is called "Coda" which loosely means the end of a song. Take that how you will.
DAMN,thanks for that
Man, I feel like I was the only one that liked it when she sang
I'm still pressed af that they killed her off. She was becoming such an amazing character.
Maybe they thought that would make it more dramatic
Right, and in such a dumb way... Beth was way smarter than that.
@@ch5635 she wanted Noah to get free of them

Oh as if this wasn't one of the most depressing death scenes in all of television lmao
Beth was the purest one in all walking dead sessions she was wonderful and wise somehow
She killed more people than Glenn

Will never forget how much i cried on that scene.. :(
i was already spoiled and still i cried like a baby like an hour
2:14 sounds like a choir of angels as beth's soul is carried to heaven tbh
Kawthar Bakhach that's what i think. sorta like the angels represent her innocence, an angel lost.
I don't think beth was an angel, she could be annoying and stupid at times, but her absence on the show was definitely felt...I feel like she represents, on the whole, youth and innocence and a little something from the time before the apocalypse. Out of all the death scenes and losses during the show (even up to season 8) this has got to the most impacting death in the entire show...

same! I thought I was the only one.. All I remember is freezing right when she got shot and just staring blankly 😭

Same here, it was really shocking and unexpected.
I was like this: "NO BETH *tears up* NOOOOOOO WHY?"

This music and her death scene broke me - still does to this day
Probably the saddest death in Season 5. So emotionally powerful especially with this music.
I teared up when I saw the scene..my heart sunk
two of the moments i will never forget of this show are sophia stepping out of the barn and daryl carrying beth's body from the hospital.
And Daryl searching for Sophia multiple days
Geez it’s been four years and I still can’t listen to this or watch that episode without bawling
Song makes me cry thinking about Beth death with Maggie crying and Rick and Daryl finally seeing each other
Still gives me chills years later
So fucking sad. I'm a bad person myself and don't care about anything but this even made me cry.
I can hear Maggie’s scream in my head at the right part of the soundtrack.
Un des moments les plus triste de The Walking dead
Her death and Sophia’s death was the saddest
2024 and this still hits💔
when I was catching up I knew the whole lot like the season 6 finale but I didn't think beth would die and I felt so sad after
I miss Beth.
One of the only deaths that made me tear up.
This is still more sad than Carl's death theme...
That hospital was a strange place. I hated that head female cop Dawn so much.
first time i really cried listening to a music

Totally agree with you because they all travel
Poor Beth, her death hurt so much, too much. But, now she's with Hershel in that big, beautiful farm up in the sky.
Still miss her so much :''(
Her character deserved better
I felt my heart drop in one sec I then bawled
It’s been 10 years... you start to forget... the things you shouldn’t.
When Beth died I legit cried. Idky but I kinda had a celebrity crush on her
I’m watching twd for the second time and I’m nearly at coda but Beth is my favourite and always has been so I’m dreading the episode.
I wish she was still here
I think beth would love this spundtrack. It hits a spot in my heart everytime i hear it.😢
