Outside of Carol, Beth was the chatacter who evolved the most. She went from the farm girl who was ready to end it all, to a surrogate mother to Judith, the voice of reason for the group when Rick couldn't be, led the group to finding the hospital survivors, risked her life to free Noah; and put Daryl back on the path to redemption. "I get it now."
This takes me back to the times of Beth and the old crew and kinda reduces me to tears. It's crazy how attached you can be towards characters in a TV show XD
He wasn't close to Glenn like he was to Beth. Hell, he wasn't close to anyone like he was to Beth (maybe Carol but nah). Glenn's death tore him apart because it was his fault. Nobody wants that on their conscience.
The fact that people still up to this day say Beth was "weak" and "useless" really needs to take a seat and watch the show, considering the fact that Beth changed into a strong survivor. Beth wasn't weak, yeah so what she cried? What do you expect its the apocalypse for Christ sake, Beth made it out of the prison, Beth kept Judith alive and safe, Beth showed Daryl what faith and hope was all about and that there's good still good people even in the crazy world they live in, and to give people a chance. Therefore Beth Greene was not weak.
But there were no good people, that's why the police take noah back and she goes mental. So except for the part whit the good people, everyone is fucked up in an apocalypse.
yes I was sobbing too. one of the last things she said to Daryl was" your gonna miss me when I'm gone Daryl Dixon." Who carries her out of the hospital??? F*ck I love this show!
Even the writers regret killing Beth off. At least this early. I still remember when she got shot in the head... my jaw dropped and me and my parents were stunned. We stayed silent through out the rest of the episode... Rest in peace Beth. You'll always be missed.
DUDE IKR I didn't even know who she was because she wasn't that important until season 5,and then my entire family in that one living room where all like... :O
Sorry to break it too you but Beth had to die she was literally a liability she should have died on the Farm when she tried to commit suicide. I was shocked she lasted as long as she died. She never went on runs, built any walls or gates to protect the group what was her major function really except for playing babysitter for Judith. Maggie brought more to the table then Beth ever did I was kinda of relieved her character is gone I just felt bad for Maggie because her whole family is gone except for Glenn and their unborn child.
+LaceeLasers I burst out crying immediately. I didn't think I would be, but I was devastated. But Seth is right that Beth's death was necessary for the progression of the other characters :(
