It's pretty clear that British humor isn't Jen's cup of tea. 😂
“Yarp.” - The Hound
I don't ever think I've seen Jen look as bored watching a movie 😂😂😂
British humor is an acquired taste. Clearly Jen hasn't experienced enough of it, yet.
This is the best of the Cornetto trilogy IMO. I love the way everything comes back. I love all of the callbacks and foreshadowing. It's one of my all time favorites.
Sorry Jen, you had a good run but it's time for Holden to move on now 😂😂😂
Mad respect for Jen knowing Timothy Dalton was Bond but not Holden! Great video, I can't wait for The World's End next!!
The constant set up and pay off in this movie is absolutely amazing
ok nahh am lost on how she likes Shawn of the dead more😭😭Hot fuzz just so funny and better and so rewatchable.
This is one of the greatest examples of British humour 😁 and one of our best ever films 👌👌 absolute masterpiece
As British humor doesn't seem to be Jen's thing, the movie Paul might be a good choice for her...probably the only Simon Pegg/Nick Frost movie that keeps their bromance intact while using much more American humor (and a LOT of parody/satire of nerd culture). And it's a damn good movie to boot.
Not me laughing my ass off remembering everything and yet looking at Jens stoic face not reacting to anything 😭😭
The fence joke in all three movies is a nice touch. These have to be such fun movies in which to have been a cast member. It's too bad they aren't making any more like this in the series.
Between this and the other two, Hot Fuzz is hands down my favourite of the trilogy and Im a big fan of Horror and Sci-Fi. But the mystery and the amount of detail that went into this film is insane. There's easter eggs and background info that build up and set up so much of what happens here its amazing and makes viewing this multiple times so worth it. If any of the three films in the Cornetto Trilogy deserved a sequel more, its this one for sure. Probably one of my favourite films ever made.
Additional Details:
This is literally the best British comedy film IMO - the humour is just top notch!
The editing in this film is top notch
"You can't just make people disappear." is a secret reveal of the whole plot.
Hot Fuzz is a masterclass in film making. Writing, directing, acting, editing, cast everything is of the highest quality. It deserves multiple rewatches because there is so much small details missed on first watch. Every set up and pay off with the foreshadowing is perfection. Along with a huge cast with the likes of James Bond, Davy Jones, Galadriel and Dr. René Belloq. (Timothy Dalton, Bill Nighy, Cate Blanchett and Paul Freeman) Plus Peter Jackson as Santa. Om top of that only took 18 month to write and an astonishing 4 weeks to shoot. Does not get better than this. Can't wait for World's End.
The “whats the matter Danny never taken a shortcut before” appears in all three movies in different ways
