Your house looks so much more light and airy and modern now compared to when you moved in. Those brown beams and the dark furniture didn't go with the style of the house. I love the gorgeous views!

I don't just like your house, I love it...which surprises me as I am very much a farmhouse/cottage, upcycling, stone walls, huge fireplace, handmade crafts kinda 'Gal' lol. We couldn't be more different on that score could we? I can fully appreciate all the hard work, thought and cost you have put into your home...and it shows. It's stunning x

Wow! You and Ashley certainly have got some stamina. The house was amazing to start off with and you could see it’s potential. I really enjoyed the before and after photos. I can only begin to imagine the “during” processes! We have just had an attic extension done. We are also going to have a wall taken down between the hall and the study, a new kitchen fitted and then a huge attic conversion above the whole house! All before Christmas! Wish us luck. Love your videos and look forward to seeing new ones. x

You have done so much work on the house Caroline. Wow Ashley is very handy. I've seen your house tour before but never seen the Estate Agents photos before. It looked like an old people's home before with all those chairs! Love how you have repurposed the rooms to have a wine cellar, office , cinema room and 4th bedroom. They all look stunning. All your bedroom storage looks better in that colour. I also love your new radiators they look sort of art deco and go so well with your house. X

What a fabulous house. It now 'makes sense' and it's so much lighter and brighter than the original. Stylish and brilliant. My husband and I have revamped 2 houses - one Victorian and currently an Edwardian house. Despite the age difference, I suspect the builders and mess are very similar. All good wishes for the project.

I have been watching from nearly the beginning , think you had been living here for about a year? Well done, Ashley! The wine cellar is so nice. Love the colors throughout, the clean, open airy feeling, is really really, nice. Look forward to seeing the kitchen when that time comes. Love the way the home is built in to 3 levels; it has an Art Deco feel to it. Very nice job, Caroline!

Beautiful views! Love the changes you’ve made, the original entrance hall was an interesting design, sort of Dynasty meets Downton! Good luck with the kitchen we did ours 3 years ago, getting the design right was challenging, but worth it, your wine cellar may deplete as you tackle yours! X

Stunning home, love your style - modern sleek yet still homely, the original main living area puts me in mind of an old folks home set up..hahaha you’ve got great taste in furnishings etc so I’m sure once the next round of renovations are complete it will look amazing. Good luck with all the work, builders and their work are not always the easiest of things to live with, I know you’ll be glad when it’s all over...looking forward to seeing it all ship shape and ticketty boo 👍

Your have such a spacious interesting house. I love it. I love my 3 bed 1 bathroom semi as it’s our home but would also love the space you have especially when my boys were young. My younger son had our box room with just space for a bed & chest of drawers & when he went to uni he loved having a bigger room! Gorgeous house and I’m sure you kitchen will be fabulous when it’s done & I agree a door in your kitchen would be an asset. X

The kitchen, definitely - although the bathroom will be nice as well. We've just received planning approval today for the new entrance and balcony extension, and the kitchen will be part of that project, so that'll be next, I'm excited!
