I've know Ryan Binghams music for years and didn't even know he acted. Started watching Yellowstone a few weeks ago and trying to get people that watch the show into him. Know a few people who didn't even know he was a musician. Show has a great soundtrack.
Shane smith and the saints definitely don’t disappoint. I already knew turnpike troubadors before I watched it but they don’t disappoint either. Mike and the moon pies. Colby Acuff. William Clark green. And Red Shahan are all killer
I'm a NY guy .. lived here my whole life. My son moved to West Texas. I spent some time there. It is a special place on Earth. These aren't just songs. The people, the sunsets .. the hard work and kindness is infectious
Born and raised in the Permian basin. West texas folks were raised on hard work, I traveled fork work all over the US, some of the best people are in PB and llano Estacado
Born and raised in Italy. Moved to Texas for work when I was 40 and lived there for three years. Now I can miss Texas for the rest of my life. Not a joke.
If your love for Texas was true, then Texas misses you as well. Met many folks for all around the world in Permian Basin)(born and raised), but this place is special In it’s on the way. Come back my friend.
I've lived in West Texas all my life. 41 years. It's in my blood. But it's time to move on. I can't do the dirt/wind anymore, not with the asthma my youngest son has. So this song really hits home.
I grew up in Northern Indiana. Spent the better part of 11 years in West Texas; Farwell, Lubbock, Amarillo. No matter where I go, Texas will always be home! I miss it every day I am not there!
Texas country at its finest! I lived in Lubbock for a short time during school, but once you’ve seen it a piece of west texas sticks with you no matter how much time you spend there.
Getting ready to graduate from tech and I am starting to miss it already realizing I may not be back after I leave... or maybe I will. Its hard to say goodbye
Reminds me of a recent trip out West...West Texas is totally different from East Texas, & has one pf the prettiests Sunsets I have ever seen! I was humbled driving through it!
"I'd like to grow a rose and stow it in that desert sage, like a message in a bottle floating down the open plains" One of the best lines in a song , ever.
Not from from Texas, nowhere near, but I love the city that I am from and the area I was raised in, so I think alot if us can relate to this song 👏 Also thanks to Yellowstone for showing us some beautiful music 👌🤝
Wow. So yeah like others I was watching Yellowstone tonight and I didn’t even wait until the end of the scene. Paused and did a google search immediately. No ties at all to the West Texas region but holy smokes… really good songwriting always grabs my attention and the lyrics used here to invoke imagery paints pictures that I can not only see but feel without even having to have ever been to the place they’re singing about. Almost like it can start to make you think the same way about where you’re from. I love the stripped-down old school country Americana sound… almost reminds me of the Highwaymen. Love that stuff so I will be checking out the album as well as all the guys’ solo stuff. Pretty stoked lol
When we moved from California to grand junction , Colorado, (western Colorado , On Utah border , I thought the desert , and wide open spaces were so ugly…at first …then I came to discover the wide open spaces, the huge starlit nights , those cotton candy clouds and blue skies , and Beijing ale to see the storms roll in from mile away, as something truly magical, as you Said , which perfectly describes it (western Texas is so similar , it’s a kind of beauty that one can only appreciate , after living there for years and years , it’s always part of my blood.)
I heard this on Yellowstone...I'm SO stoked these boys are getting that kind of recognition. I immediately recognized the voices of Josh Abbott and William Clark Green....I was like is that???? Is that???? NO WAY! I looked it up and I'm SO excited. There's nothing that speaks to the soul like their kind of Country.
I'm old city guy, this, summertime blues and all I see is you each made me stop while watching Yellowstone and add to my country Playlist. Best TV music curator of any show. Keep it up.
I may live in Tennessee now where I was okay with it b/c tons of UT fans, just the wrong UT. But being born in Texas never leaves your blood. From Amarillo, Clute, Lubbock to Big Spring. This song made me miss those vast clear night skies. Even those storms rolling in you can see for miles. Outsiders see West Texas and think 'ugh', Texans look at it and see endless possibilities.
I agree Amanda, I live in a small town twixt' Lubbock and Midland/Odessa. Not just anybody can live in West Texas, It takes a little salt along with some love for this love for this country. I hope you have Jack Ingram's song the" Great Divide" off his This is it album. also Amanda, please remember you will always have a home here if you want.
@@westexun2165 Hat's off,Hombre! Still got all yer fangers? Keep an extra coat in the truck, another coat in the drillers truck, one in the dog house, and another behind the bar at Betty Lou's,just in case.
So I had to move from Florida to central Texas and start all the way over. This song was like my anthem. I thought the move was going to be horrible but it wasn’t, it was and is amazing. Thank you for this song
I moved to West Texas in 79...lived there for 15 years and moved away. This song brands my heart. Finally headed back this year & finish my days in West Texas... probably deep, deep West Texas, Alpine? Ft Davis? Somewhere...
I was born in San Angelo raised in Lubbock. Met Charlie through an associate at work. He was intense. Quiet. Observant. And you could tell he was different than the other folks who come to the counter. Having seen and lived it all including the most recent Tornado in Matador. The baseball hail in Lubbock. Losing so much and seeing others lose so much more… This song hits me right in the feels. Y’all got me Rollin up 27 all messed up. Cause this song is what it is to be a West Texan. And, if you ain’t lived every word, stand by. You will.
Every time I hear this song, I think how God made man and blessed him with a beautiful singing voice -- yes, at times he can be perverted, but in his purest form man is beautiful. And God bless Charlie Stout. Plus, slide and drums are breathtaking! Good job, men.
My Daddy came from Baird, Texas in the 1930s. He would have loved this song and it makes me cry more than I want to admit. You boys done good when you make this Georgia girl cry for her West Texas Daddy.
I have always loved the Texas panhandle and it’s wide open plains. People truly underestimate the beauty of west Texas. US Highway 83 is a pretty incredible drive.
I’m sure this will sound like a lot of the comments already but I heard you on Yellowstone last night I’m originally from San Antonio I’m in the Navy now almost 20 years and every time I leave or come home To Texas I always get A tear in My eye
I lived in Midland for a couple years a while back. It is where my oldest child was born. This song brings me right back to that time. Someday I’ll get back to West Texas.
Man I miss my west Texas as a Lubbock Boy now in south Carolina I have not been back home in 7 years I sure do miss my home tho. Love this song May sound crazy but I get emotional when I listen to it.
I’m from nyc living in ct now just discovered this song from watching Yellowstone and I love it I may be a yankee but I love everything country just happen to live in the wrong damn state
Love this song! Having lived in Abilene for 7+ years, I concur that there is a certain draw to that West Texas sunset and landscape. Moved many years ago to the BCS, TX area. Our youngest son graduated with Will from A&M Consol HS. I remember the day our son first brought Will over to the house saying Pops this is Will Clark and he's a singer and going to be a good one. Like most parents of a HS kid, I had obvious skepticism. That skepticism has been proven misplaced! We have seen and listened to Will (also the others in this group) over the years, mostly at Hurricane Harry's in College Station, and always enjoy the show.
Amazing artists that I listen to individually, never heard of the Panhandlers collectively. Had no idea they had formed a group, maybe if I was closer to Texas id have known. Great job guys!
same! I heard a song this the other day and told my buddy, hey that's william clark green. He was like, "nope, that's the panhandlers". I said " I don't know who they hell they are, but that is certainly WCG". Turns out we were both right.
Bliss was a roller coaster but wouldn’t mind going back to visit. Especially hitting up the Edge of Texas restaurant one last time. I’m from east Texas but I sometimes find myself wanting to go back west.
I stayed for 40 days in the US, not an easy thing to say say goodbye to all my friends and to the new friends I made... I was happy while I was there... Hope to return soon!
Lately I been thinking if you salted them roads in West Texas after a ice storm..I could leave them towns in this tractors mirrors. Pretty song love it . But I think you have to be born in West Texas to really love it. LoL
For all you yellowstone folks, dont just stop at this song. Dive further into each of these artists. They don’t disappoint.
I've know Ryan Binghams music for years and didn't even know he acted. Started watching Yellowstone a few weeks ago and trying to get people that watch the show into him. Know a few people who didn't even know he was a musician. Show has a great soundtrack.
Definitely enjoying the music. Nevada cowboy really enjoying it.
Except for Puscifer; you can stop there-they played their only two good songs. :-|
Shane smith and the saints definitely don’t disappoint. I already knew turnpike troubadors before I watched it but they don’t disappoint either. Mike and the moon pies. Colby Acuff. William Clark green. And Red Shahan are all killer
Colter Wall is now a regular feature in my house, thanks to the show

Scotsman here, we love our folk music. This song is so powerful, just hits different 🏴🇺🇸
I've lived in West Texas all my life. 41 years. It's in my blood. But it's time to move on. I can't do the dirt/wind anymore, not with the asthma my youngest son has. So this song really hits home.
While watching Yellowstone, I dream of such a life, in harmony with nature. I love this peace. I miss it very much in my country... Poland
I grew up in Northern Indiana. Spent the better part of 11 years in West Texas; Farwell, Lubbock, Amarillo. No matter where I go, Texas will always be home! I miss it every day I am not there!
Heard this on Yellowstone tonight. Lubbock boy loved the Llano Estacado reference. I need to listen to the album.
Same here.
You’ll love the album along with each individual artist in the group they make great Texas music

Aye man if you liked Them listen to Flatland Calvary, The lead singer is the man who sings the 3rd verse. They’re great West Texas band.
So many good memories in West Texas, there's nowhere else like it. ❤️
Yellowstone brought me here. Love this!!
What a sweet melody. This song is so very pretty and performed so very well.

My new favorite song. Reminds me of highway men.
Growing up ranching in West Tx this song always makes me cry.
Born and raised in Midland. This land is full of rugged beauty, not for the weak.
Thank you too Yellowstone for introducing me to y’all’s music, 100% love it!! 🤠🤠
I'm not much into Country music, but I play this song daily.
Hello 👋 Beth. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I'm Zack Hudson and am from Denver Colorado, where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
West Texas runs through my blood. Red dirt on my boots and in my lungs! Live here. Breathe here. Die here! 🤘🏽

Born and raised in Texas, been living in Canada for almost 6 years. Hearing this song make me homesick.
I also heard this on Yellowstone and loved the song immediately. I'm from the UK and have never visited Texas but the music video is great.
Just like yall have your beauty... So do we. It's all over this country.
