I have worked in electronic security all my career and there is always a play-off between keeping unwanted persons out and allowing those inside to get out in the event of an emergency. There always has to be a green emergency release break glass unit on the inside to cut power to fail-unlocked (power to lock) locks unless there is mechanical egress. As it happens we are buying a new door for our own house right now. We are sticking with a mechanical lock (no electrical operation). I have insisted on a double ended key cylinder, not one with a thumb turn on the inside because a burglar could break the toughened glass panel and just reach in and turn the thumb turn otherwise. As this is a safety risk in the event of fire, I have a key for the current door and will get one for the new door in a "break glass to obtain key" box in the cupboard by the front door. You have the additional consideration of being able to get IN in an emergency without doing too much damage and I see where you're coming from that this kit would be useful to you. If I am designing a system I have often specified an override secure keyswitch somewhere hidden on the outside to break power in case of system malfunction and the lock staying locked, especially if the control equipment is behind that door inside the room, which is often the case with server rooms or plant rooms.
Some of these less invasive methods are useful in a situation where sparks and heat need to be avoided. You can probably get a core puller tool and a core snapper tool on their own for less money. Although the door jam/bolt slips are incredibly useful too.
Very cool kit. I have the fire chief looking at a few videos and I think we are settled on the Bell. Still waiting to find out if they work on LFIC or SFIC.
Standard for firefighters and such stuff, because they dont screw around with picks But on some newer doors, forced entry is not really an option so you gotta go for those locks
My name is Bond ..For any locksmith a nice kitt ..but for this happy sport picker I'll save my money for a custom pick offset diamond pick but brilliant revue 💡👍👍👍👍🥃🍺🥂🌎 and demonstration of them all in action...🔐🔒🔓🔑
You forgot the shot gun and lock buster rounds 😄 theres a technique, we used to just blow the hinges off in the Marines for rapid surprise entry and do a blitz clear.
Wow bro, that was/is VERY impressive! I'm not only talking about the tools (love'm) but seeing you break those locks looked so easy lol! I've always been kinda obsessed with locks and how (in the movies) they all make it look so simply to pick! I just liked n subscribed, will do a binge of your vid's! After what I just seen here I KNOW I'm gunna enjoy most if not all and can't wait hahaha, cheers from Canada eh
Best tool: homeostatic forcep. Great reach inside things. Can lovk it to hold things in place. Amazing tool even for locksmiths. Use it all the time. Also to test for example key card system N.O relays etc. Just short circuit with it. Recommend
Excellent all round kit for the professional . And a kit that we mere mortals, would love to have; just for bragging rights. I want to break locks now 👍🤣
After watching that video I was drooling , that box is truly the Master Key! You could open any lock with that box! Very cool Bill! I was really hoping you would of used one of those tools on that Abus Granite lock I left ! That would of been cool!
Great video however the newer High Security Euro cylinders we have in Europe cannot be opened by the bell puller. Avocet ABS / Yale Dimple 3 star/ Avocet ATK etc
in the pulling demo at the end, why didn't you use the magic bit holder provided in the kit. it locks the screw and bit perfectly together to make it easy to drive it in.
Really nice set. I've seen that they sell a "pro" version of this which is roughly double the price. If you need to get into somewhere you can be sure to find a tool for it in these kits. Pretty impressive stuff
Wendt really came up trump's with this one. A cracking kit but as always expensive. The positive side of that is it deters thrives from spending so much. The winner of this prize will be getting a bargain and a half. Great Review Bill 😁👍🏻
So, I'm sure I've just been oblivious, but, doesn't that core puller kind of destroy the whole "steel anti-drill pins" thing? I just realized that when he demonstrated this before, and on a couple of the cores he just pulled, there were anti-drill pins and steel pins visible, and yet those self-tapping screws just blew right through them...
Yes. I guess I wasn't clear. A lot of locks have steel "anti-drill" pins in various locations, yet your kit destroys them with equal ease. I was wondering if the anti-drill pins were really effective given how easily those screws went through them.
Think I would have had a 5" cordless angle grinder and maybe some of LPL's favorite tools....ramset gun, exhaust separator clamp, and maybe a comprehensive pick set, if youre gonna call it the 'ultimate opening kit'
As cool as it is it's not really something I have use for myself. But if I was working for a manufacturer of locks/lock cylinders I'd start to consider countermeasures.
Zieh is pronounced tsee like in the 60ies song "itsy bitsy..." ua-cam.com/video/QzJAoxS4aVs/v-deo.html "zieh fix" is an imperative. Fix means in that context "quick". So it means:"Full (that) quick" It could also be an innuendo to "kruzifix", a bavarian interjection meaning "what the hell", used in dispair when something is stuck or so.
Kruzifix means crucifix, the Christian symbol and Roman torture device. It's a tool to pull out the fixture or fix the lockout problem by pulling something.
As a firefighter, it would help me a lot, very nice explanation Bill!, like always! You are my teacher

There was one ecstatic and extremely lucky person out there that was fortunate to win this amazing box set.
Very cool kit. I have the fire chief looking at a few videos and I think we are settled on the Bell. Still waiting to find out if they work on LFIC or SFIC.
Isn't there something in the Geneva Conventions about pulling the core our of a lock after it's surrendered and popped open?
Wow...What a set. Well put together, thought out and full of things you usually wouldnt pick up one by one
When just putting the screw in defeats the lock.
I liked that little gesture just then. "Well, the lock's already borked, I might as well finish the job."
Yeah, i was like man...that lock and key both look so awesome shame its being destroyed.
The irony, here, is that Bill can pick any of those locks in less time than it takes for him to get the brute-force puller all ready.
This kit looks great for beginner locksmiths!
That "Mindy" lock at the end was too beautifully engraved to be brutalized! :)
That's an amazing giveaway for an up and coming lock smith.
Bill should send it to the Locksmith who said LPL was full of BS.He needs all the help he can get.
No doubt... I'll be the newbie with all the nice new tools If for once in my life I should get lucky in a contest .
Very generous giveaway Bill, thanks for the video as always!
Too cool. That's a hella give away, Bill.
It seems like the company watched your channel and put the best from the last 6-12 months of Saturday reviews into it.
Yup but thats actually a standard kit here in europe lol
What an amazing kit and giveaway! Thanks for the opportunity to win it....
Just love the last one, Mindy that pop open with the screw alone. Sort of the reverse of the ASSA one.
Nice quality bit of kit by the looks of it.
"The toolkit that makes every lock an offer it can't refuse"
Its like a lock destroying kit lol...
The Mindy cracked me up 🤣 Who knew a screw was the perfect key?
Some euro cylinders have a cut to break in half with that tool, remaining locked. That's now a minimum in England where James Bond resides.
If there aren't any steel pins in the core and they're all brass, the core puller will still defeat those locks.
It's nice to see the Kurtzy came in handy for something.
You know it's good quality from the packaging, looks awesome!
That’s a great kit! I’ve never wanted to win a giveaway more than this one!!!
That's a pretty awesome set there. Didn't know tools like these existed.
Standard for firefighters and such stuff, because they dont screw around with picks
But on some newer doors, forced entry is not really an option so you gotta go for those locks
Very cool kit from Wendt!.
Just noticed your "safety" sign, @bosnianbill, hahaha!
What a cracking kit.

Great video Bill, thank you 👍
Looks like a great kit for fire departments or similar organisations

Your music soundtrack went crazy at 8:30. Sound like 2 overlapping similar tracks.
Awesome giveaway, wow, Great review as well!! Please keep them coming!!!
That last lock demo was funny. No need to pull the core... You looked like you had lots of fun doing that.
Wow what a giveaway, some lucky person is going to be very happy
Nice to see all these things, so that means we can leave our doors open because it takes only a minute to take the lock out of the door!
13:00 new exploit for the Mindy LOL
I might have to get myself one of these as a birthday present.
Anyway we could see some of those door jam/latch/bolt tools in action?
Best tool: homeostatic forcep. Great reach inside things. Can lovk it to hold things in place. Amazing tool even for locksmiths. Use it all the time. Also to test for example key card system N.O relays etc. Just short circuit with it. Recommend

A Master Key befitting a Master Lock, right? Oh.. wait...
@@Vanta_Blue yup i almost forgot that houskeeping has to get in somehow
13:00 Oh, it popped open....I’m still pulling it...
Great video however the newer High Security Euro cylinders we have in Europe cannot be opened by the bell puller. Avocet ABS / Yale Dimple 3 star/ Avocet ATK etc

Because I'm lazy and stupid? Yeah, that's it.😀
Beautiful set of tools! What I expect from German engineering and workmanship.
That mindy padlock with the tiger was cute. Little sad to see it screwed 😂
I would like to see those tools versus some anti-snap and drill resistant locks. Would be interesting.
I wonder how well those screws work if there's a spinner plate on top of the core...
Zowie! What a comprehensive kit. Droooooooooooolllllll.
Really nice set. I've seen that they sell a "pro" version of this which is roughly double the price. If you need to get into somewhere you can be sure to find a tool for it in these kits. Pretty impressive stuff
Awesome review!!
That's a beautiful kit!
So, what are the other four compartments in the case for?
It's worth noting the pliers are knipex. High end stuff
I have got to say I love the dedication to destroy several locks to give the kit a proper test. 😎
Awesome review
That " Mindy" lock is kinda pretty, in a yale/ towne kinda way.😜🔑
Great box!
That’s some serious kit
Awesome set, awesome review. I've entered the competition in a hope to win one. Cheers
Wendt really came up trump's with this one. A cracking kit but as always expensive. The positive side of that is it deters thrives from spending so much.
The winner of this prize will be getting a bargain and a half.
Great Review Bill 😁👍🏻
A profession thief is not deterred by cost of tools. Seriously, think about it.
Just like any professional you need what you need to get the job done.
Awesome kit
Something that the average locksmith will never need.
Most locksmiths in Europe never pick a door lock, they always use tools like this. We don't have crappy locks on the doors :)
I've not even attempted to pick locks. ASSA, KABA, EVVA only in Sweden.
With the newest ASSA locks not even this pulling tool works, the core retainer is conical and jams in the cylinder. Drilling is your only option.
Thanks Bill
Wonder if you can use the self tapping screws again?
From his recent review, that answer is, "Yes!".
Pricey but a great kit when other options are off the table :)
As he leaves for work, the cat burglar's good wife waits by the door with his hat, coat and "briefcase".
Ultimate indeed
Very cool stuff

And then there are those videos you would love to like twice, but you can't
Impatiently waiting for the MacGyver Kit
Awsome kit !!!
What a kit!
Nice set .
Does trademark mark ® was actually needed on a hand written piece? 05:20
No idea, Wendt sent that note in the kit. My guess would be no.
Great video
What was missing from the bottom section upper left corner?
Website has that kit listed as “standard”. If this is standard, what would be deluxe?
Oh man i want that set.
Think I would have had a 5" cordless angle grinder and maybe some of LPL's favorite tools....ramset gun, exhaust separator clamp, and maybe a comprehensive pick set, if youre gonna call it the 'ultimate opening kit'
Also missing is C4 and battering ram 😸
And don't forget a quantum detonator 9000, for when you need to open the door to another dimension.
I Hope This Kit or even the separately sold parts/ tools are on restricted sale!
Lmao that mindey looked like such a nice lock put a screw in it an bam didnt even need to pull the core XD
I like how the Mindy lock gave up almost immediately.
Is there a similar kit focused on US locks?
hahaha, the mindy at the end
What a kit! 😲. I'm actually surprised that it's not a bit more $, that's a ton of really quality tools. I'd give my left ___ for it!
You can buy an upgraded version with some extra bits for just a few hundred more.
Aren't members automatically entered in the giveaways? Seems like I read that somewhere. This is one I would really enjoy!
I read that yesterday
What's missing from the top left corner of the bottom half of the case??
@@Zieh-Fix why take the time to cut out the spot and not include the tool?
How will that kit work on modern ABLOY locks?
Send me a couple and we'll find out!😀
So, this is what you do with some of those spare locks...
That one that looks like a 7 is for shielded locks
I am no expert, but for $500 it sounds like an excellent starter kit for a locksmith.
A good kit in terms of the lock specific tools but having pliers and other common hand tools bumps up the price and you have them already
One hell of a giveaway!!!!

A great kit, great that it's all in one case. Looks like good high quality gear. Awesome giveaway and demo too!👍🍺😎🇦🇺
Can we see you have a go with the NDE tools too Bill?
