I can't hate Pumpkin Patch. All the awful things she did should make me, but knowing why and how she turned into the candy mare breaks my heart so badly...I just can't hate her...
I used to feel bad about Flutters at 1st, but looking back at it years later I realized she was actually spared the worst of it all. Thinking about it: living the closest to the forest, you would think she'd be attacked 1st, but it was Applebloom instead. 🤔 And to top it off: the bite she took wasn’t even big enough to cause anything; nither did she swallow anything. So she and Granny Smith were possibly the only two in ponyvile to have survived.
I think based on the scene with Apple Blooms head she went for the Apple Family first because of a combination of the barn being a good place to hide from the sun (which weakens her) during the day and her being attracted by the Caramel Apples they were making.
I can see this as a sort of really creepy urban legend that ponies could tell to each other every Nightmare Night, as a bit of a gruesome tale teenagers could tell each other. I dunno
So I was really looking forward to Lemon Drop. Kudos to Wuten AIE on his work, those scenes would've just fallen completely apart if he hadn't done such a good job! The whole things was great of course, and still really loving the SFX. Can;t wait for next Friday!
