I felt literally sick at my stomach over how the U.S. govt "withdrew" from Afghanistan and my heart was breaking for the people we abandoned. I prayed day after day and night after night that God would protect and help those who helped us as well as Christian brothers and sisters to be able to get out of the country. After several weeks I began hearing that God had answered my prayers by sending people like you. I thank God for you and your team.
Chad, please accept our deepest appreciation for you and your brothers and sisters for your Joshua 1:9 work. And your Kathy and children too. When my son left for USCG boot camp, I got involved in a local post (as Ladies Aux because of WW2 dad and my son serving), joined a military families support group and for over 10 years dedicated myself to helping at risk veterans and military serving, STAND DOWNs, Camps, CG Island Valor Games, even shared stories with Joe Mantegna as it turned out we both (and Gary) helped the same horrifically injured Marine where we lived. God hugely bless you for sharing all this, Chad. I know also the Hand of God. While serving at our STAND DOWN, a Coastie vet came through my mess line - turned out he was the Coastie who unloaded our son at Anchorage hospital off the Jayhawk when he was medivac'd off his cutter. Entire mess line broke into cheers and tears. Helping vets and being with other Blue and Gold Star families is the only family I've ever known. Mighty Oaks will be continuously in our prayers.
My faith is far too small. I thought it was huge, but it is not. Please pray for me because the task I am certain God has called me to is far beyond me - but that is how He alone will receive the glory. I get tired so easily and I know it’s spiritual, but this testimony has really encouraged me. Thank you, and praise God!

I’d watched your original clip, and now this second one. Both have been so inspirational.
We all had no idea you were there during that mess when we left Afghanistan, although it’s not surprising. Your decision to return and get your friend and his family, as well as our reporter in Ukraine were both selfless acts of service.
Someone needed to get the job done, and our government certainly wasn’t stepping up to the plate!
Thank you for your selfless actions (along with all the others involved). I want to send a special thank you to your wife & family, as I have no doubt they were in on the decisions being made.

My only child, son, now 33 served in USCG for over 9 years. The USCG's battlefield is on the seas fighting drug and sex traffickers; my son's been shot and stabbed, as well as having both hands nearly completely ripped from his wrists in galley lift on his WW2-aged 385-ft cutter en route to Alaska. Has seen and had to do what most people can't imagine. Before that, 20 yrs ago when he was 13, I got him and I out of violent marriage to his bio father. Present husband helped me raise son and they loved each other, was always there for my son to where the chief chose him at 18 over 30 other candidates for CG. Off he went to boot camp. He's made bad decisions, marrying too young, too fast, so he wouldn't be alone at base - wife aborted their only child - they're divorced now. We loaned him $ to close his house to come back home so he wouldn't lose his VA benefits. Now living with 3rd girlfriend and won't tell us where he's living, re-connected with older atheist half brother/family who bash God and us (who helped him get 6-figure road job) and so he's left us AND God. Our hearts are crushed and we've never prayed this hard or continuous in our lives; I know he needs help. We're followers of Lord Jesus and all need prayer. I'm going to look up Chad and Kathy's site again. Tk you and God bless you all.

So sad that the biden administration just pulled all the troops out of Afghanistan in such an uncaring way. Afghanistan is failing apart , it will be worse if isis take over from the taliban We continue to Pray for afghanistan, Ukraine & Gaza . We must pull together as Christians & live in obedience to our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ, Mathew 25 31-40 ( I was hungry, thirsty & sick, you fed me gave me a drink & looked after me) We need to rescue both People and Animals that are suffering because this is The Lord's Will, this Biblical principle needs to be applied to both People and Animals, let us be Good Samaritans to both People & Animals Luke 10 : 25 - 37 . We need to by ethicly to let us all avoid bying things made in china by slave labour. By products made in othet countries or locally made. Donald Trump says made in the USA
