meh why mention buster blader over the retrained counterpart? I have a buster blader, the destruction swordmaster deck, which buster whelp searches while protector whelp to the graveyard, for it to be revived by buster dragon. Graveyard is a second hand. Only thing original has is if the retrained part is in the hand, as well as elemental hero prisma. But I wouldn't bother using it unless I needed to go full buster blader, which really isn't necessary given the card he said 2:40 Destruction Sword Memories. But I guess Emblem of Dragon Destroyer/Skilled White Magician count as 2 more for OG buster blader, but it's just weird.

Wait, what about "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru"? That has Koa'ki Meiru Initialize, Koa'ki Meiru Boulder, Core Transport Unit and arguably, Iron Core Immediate Disposal.
This list is about the best cards.
The koa’ki meiru deck hasn’t really been that good.
@@AsherX9 No, its about those with the most specific searchers and if equal who was the most total searchers. =)
Theres also a new card called Koa'ki Meiru Supplier which allows you to add Iron Core or a card that specifically list it in its card text.
Steve Sharofsky it isn’t about the “best” cards. If it were, Harpie Lady wouldn’t have been on the list at all. It’s exactly what it says, the cards with the most amount of specific search cards, but it would seem Iron Core of Koa’ki Meiru was accidentally skipped over, in that case.
True true, looks like I missed Iron Core. It happens when you basically have to just think of cards that might have searchers and then look them up

There should be 69 for Dark Magician since he left out Eternal soul and Dark magic circle.
He definitely did. Especially because there's no way the four retrains could possibly count as search cards under any circumstances

I'm guessing he meant less than level 6 since the card he's talking about, Rescue Ferret, lets you special summon cards from the deck if their total levels are 6 so you'd special summon Cyber Dragon and a level 1 card.

As a tortured Dark Magician player, i can confidently say that this doesnt apply to DM and DMG. They are like the Galaxy Photon category where alot of search cards overlap but many also specifically search one or the other
The Berry magicians only work for DMG and cards like Illusion magic only work for DM. Its very frustrating seeing how there isnt enough synergy between DM and DMG
Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon has 5 specific searchers:
Photon Vanisher, Galaxy Eyes Afterglow Dragon, Starliege Lord Galaxion, Hyper Galaxy, and Paladin of Photon Dragon. That would put it right below Blue Eyes, which is kinda ironic.
Also, kudos for the amount of research you did on this video.

Least searched card: Frog the Jam. Legit specifically mentioned that it can’t be searched by a good dozen different cards
Because it is one of those cards whose TCG names pre-dates an archetype and since they have to follow what qualifies based on the OCG name, that just left them adding that "except (insert card name)" until they realized a good number of them could just be given a name change.
That would actually be an interesting list: Top 10 cards that got their name changed in the TCG.
And diffusion wave motion,too. Every card that searches a fusion card has "BUT YOU CAN'T SEARCH DIFFUSION WAVE MOTION,FOOL"
@@Akabeche I was always annoyed by that. It seemed like a waste of text space. I thought the reason was that it was like one of those Mcdonalds happy meal "toys." I get it now that it had a different name in the original Japanese and they have to keep things consistent, but would anyone play it in a frog deck regardless? It's a vanilla monster with weak stats.
Could someone explain the deal with Summoned Skull? In the original Japanese wasn't it Summoned Demon/Demon Summon? Where did the Archfiend bit come from?
@@kyuubinaruto17 Konami just wanted to give it some way of seeing play again,SS is a pretty iconic monster.
Besides,they had made "archfiend skull of lightning" around 2002 so they just placed the archetype together.

yata garasu first place for being a tier 0 deck and game breaking card that wins games by itself, and is will never leave the banlist.
@NOGA i think Yata Garatsu will stay in the ban list for historical reasons.

Counting the other 4 versions of Harpie Lady wouldn't mean that Harpie Lady has 69 search cards, it just means that there's 5 versions of Harpie Lady that have 65.
No since the other Harpie Lady retrains are treated exactly as "Harpie Lady", they don't count as different cards but as only 1 card. You can't even legally play 1 copy of each harpie lady retrain in one deck
Hey, I've been a fan for a while. Does a Top 10 most powerful Errata effects video sound good? (I mean a card that was hit with a devastating Errata effect, making a once broken card unplayable.)

@@omega5040 afaik the only cards that have been buffed by an errata are the Y and Z Union monsters (for xyz dragon cannon), not sure if w was reprinted

Fabulous well done video one of the best I've seen this year but I would recommend also Fusion monster's that call them out with Defusion as a side note to things can call the specific things from like the graveyard & banish zone

Top 10 generic support cards for each big type
Dragon, spellcaster, warrior, etc
You talk in some videos how by being a dragon monster for example, makes you more valuable than say a rock monster. It would be cool to see a list sort of showing why that is
Although, NOW, being a Rock Monster is great, because Adamancipators are destroying everything.
Turns out, having three monsters that special summon themselves AND can summon any non-tuner Rock from the deck, that are also Tuners, is pretty damn good, even if it's somewhat random.
@@brandonbrown6922 Block Dragon is only good now since there are good support for Rock now (Adamantia).

I know you mentioned there may be errors, which good on you for admitting that in advance, and I noticed 1. Psy-Frame Driver has at least 1 more searcher, in the form of "Witch of the Black Forest" since it has less than 1500 defense

Great video. Maybe you should do a list of the top ten archetypes that have the least support. The idea stems from the iron chain archetype that has like less than ten cards in its archetype.

I have only started to get back into YuGiOh recently. The last time I played Pot of Greed was still not banned. Been watching your videos for the last week or so now. I really enjoy the content.
Still trying to figure out what some of these new card types are (XYZ, Pendulum and Link to be specific).
They're all just different flavors of fusion monsters who dont need polymerization to bring them out.

I was wondering, wouldn’t Odd-Eyes pendulum dragon have a lot of cards that search for it? Maybe not specific cards, but it’s a pendulum card, dragon type, fusion component, dark attribute, odd-eyes card, level 7, and has 2500 attack.

Fun fact: when I started playing Duel Links, before I could get my hands on a High Pristess of Prophecy, I used to run a Dark Magician and a Dark Magician of Chaos on my Spellbook deck just because of how easy it was to search and summon a high level spellcaster with it. When I finally got three High Priestesses, the Dark Magicians were out of the deck for the extra consistency. Just noting this because I've always had a bunch of spellcaster searchers among my cards in that game, more than any other type of card.

I thought of another video idea for you. You could do:
Top worst/best flip effect monsters (one example would be needle ball, for the worst)
Top worst/best pseudo-flip effect monsters
That is if you haven't looked into those yet.
