I rescued a little diamond dove years ago, it was so sweet and so tiny, they make the prettiest cooing noise.

I feel like this can totally turn into some kind of children's book for adults, especially for first time human parents who don't know what they are doing.
OMG this is the most wholesome video on the internet.
Your story and our story is very similar. In the morning 13 th August 23 when I was brushing my teeth I saw a small bird sitting in our balcony, I saw it and ignored but my son took him and brought him in the house. We gave him food and water to drink but it didn't not ate a piece of grain. We were hopelesss because we didn't expect that he would survive. We took him to pet shop and bought a female companion for him. We named him NIX and the female we bought OLLEY. Now they laid eggs. ❤❤❤

Summer, I always knew you were amazing. You just showed me (us) how amazing you really are! Thank you for not buying and for promoting adopt-and-rescue rather than shopping and buying. Thousands (if not millions) of companion birds are left homeless, suffer from neglect and even abuse. Homeless birds need loving homes. There is no reason to buy. Thank you for spreading the message! It will save lives. You're awesome. ❤️
I just really love that u dont keep them in cages. Ever since i was little i always hated seeing a caged birb.
Pepo & Tutu are precious! Loved the video and learning about this cute bird. I also love the message of adopt and not shop….so many animals that deserve a loving home❤️

I've been hoping for an update on the doves, they are sooo cute!
Really adorable. Pepo is definitely more accustomed to humans and doesn't mind sitting on a hand and getting filmed, but I really like giving them their space because it seems as if that's what they need, especially in this parenting process.

They are very sweet, like smaller versions of our collared doves. Are you going to build the an aviary on the deck for the summer months?
Yes, the plan is to make a nice aviary. Didn't plan on getting birds so soon, so we may have to do a temporary aviary before we do the main one. :)
“Makes me sick to my crop” such cute storyline
They are so sweet. My daughter has budgies and what we thought were females were a mix of male and female. They hatched two clutches and now we have a split aviary so they do not continue to breed. It was such a cute and fun experience, but we went from 4 birds to 9 in less than a year 🤦. I love doves and maybe one day I will have a pair, but right now we have plenty of feather friends to enjoy.
This is one of the funniest things we’ve ever seen! 🤣 Rewatching just for “Oh shit”. 😂 Poor PePo, dude was framed, she volleyed off him! 🥲🥲💀

This saga is best TV. Their behaviors and gestures are such wonderful tells of the shared angst, love, pressures and tribulations of life. Tutu is SO understanding, the way she went to billing upon arrival suggested a sort of “womens intuition”. RIP chicks Teepu & Creetu❣️❣️

Thanks for rescuing them. They're beautiful. I have fostered many pigeons since we have a network of people here rescuing injured and emaciated city pigeons and rehabilitating them.

I has several wild zebra doves befriend me for a few years. They were so friendly and affectionate. 💕
Awwwww yay more feathered friend 💖💖💖💖 i adore your home as it welcomes plants and birds. I have a canary and i hope soon after furnishing I can let her out of the cage and play with me. At least your doves won't nibble on the leaves haha

Every fall/winter two turtle doves take shelter in my tree by my bedroom window. They raise their babies somewhere else in the spring/summer, but every fall/winter they cuddle in my window and make me jealous I'm single! So delightful to watch and I look forward to their return every year!

I had a pair of mourning doves birth 4 babies on my patio under my gazebo of houseplants. I was about to buy those fake eggs because i don’t think i could’ve been apart of another birthing (it was a lot of drama, one egg never hatched as well), but now i’m wondering what would happen to Tutu and Pepo if they just kept sitting on a fake egg? Would love to see more videos of this couple!

Hi Summer! Yah, Did enjoy the Bird thing so much. Tutu really appreciated the male friend. I was laughing the whole time of the Bird Story. Happy Holidays to you as well! And Pepo totally kicked the egg by accident. I wish we caught it soon afterwards, but we were out of the house and didn't find out until we walked down there and saw the egg on the floor. The video allowed us to know that he had kicked the egg about 2 hours earlier. They are so clumsy and silly! ;)

Thank you for sharing your birds. Years ago, I had a male and female parakeets that had 3 broods. I loved watching them loving each other and their babies. I miss them. This was such a sweet video to watch.

TuTu and Pepo seem to have adjusted to each other. They are so lucky to have you! When I adopted a cockatiel from a shelter"her" name was Mary. I soon found out that Mary was a boy( not a girl) so I renamed him Tupelo.

OMG thats so cool, such a beautiful bird. I was just studying the predatory biosphere, for feeding garden birds. Its quite complicated and can take years to perfect the balance. You should see my little snug i built on my allotment, living the dream, really its very cool, very hard life but very rewarding. x.
