How about tematic buids? I'm strugling to make a Thor build! :P
Hi, you’re one of like 3 WOTR buildcrafters I love having as background noise while I play fallout 4 and dream of another table top group.
Compliments aside, I’d love if you did a Legend focused playlist for these basic archetypes. 20 necro/20 Druid with undead companion archetype and call nature beast, to say my primary desire. Definitely one where you you drop into turn based to Call the Horde of summons and direct them for positions/proper matchups, imbibing an IRL PassTime drink of your choice and then hitting go after queuing up whatever group buff you might want to use.
20 Ray based magus Archer/20 feat heavy wizard with a specially school/s in the classes with your most used Ray spells, make it a human for the hull array of either meta magic or ranged feats (make it thrown so you can have two distinct damage source without feeding the quiver demon.
I’m sure you get what I’m llooking at in my head and trying to suggest. There’s just such a glut of Legend builds. I think I’ve found 6 and most of them was one single video, not full cloth videos like the others.
That said, legendary videos would totally let you pick one primary pair to focus on, and very easily do ing a quick alternative take with a 2 different classes that hit the same character archetype.
For anyone curious, all the early synergies for legend also apply to Gold Dragon, Devil, and Swarm as well. So feel free to go crazy. One of my current saves is a Lich to Gold Dragon character.
Also. Super important for characters "abandoning" the Lich mythic path. You can keep your undead followers as long as you don't do the quest titled Revolt at the Ziggurat upon swapping paths. This basically just means that you never visit the Ziggurat anymore, but that's fine since it's no longer relevant to you, and you get to keep your undead boys this way.
Let's say i'm an angel and i want to go gold dragon do i still keep some angel stuff or spells?
@@greggreg2458 only spells
@@prohanya Thanks, well keeping Storm of Justice and Bolt of Justice would be amazing as they are op.
@@greggreg2458 You'll still keep your angel spells as long as they're merged into your spellbook, yes
When I first start the game, I was sure than I could handle it easily. 53 years old, D&D player, PC geek who start before pentium, with CIV 1, going on years later with Baldur’s, planescape, Fallout, ME, Witcher, I even have an Excalibur prime on Warframe. Still playing WH 40 K and other tabletop games, I m quite use with combos, synergies and all the +1/+5 if stuff. So 2 weeks ago getting bored with my new, all modeld Skyrim/CIV 6/….. I purchased PWOTR another 50 boxes thrown at the great BAAL, god of the unsatisfied player. Gloria in excelsis gaming, spent two hours on my first character creation, go down for diner, going up for a little while, looking my watch, holy s… it’s 2 am. I restarted the game three time, then an unarmed dragon monk, Oracle (and then discovered Daeran) and Cavalier, what you can ride a horse, no idiot you can ride a dinosaur with karaté trip. Then my brain meltdown, I seeked for help and find you, TY and be cursed, because my old dream of becoming a Ninja/Sorcerer /Dr Hyde can finally come true, tremble mortals.
Always glad to help, and honestly, if you've beaten the Baldur's Gate games, you can definitely handle the Pathfinder ones 😃
Remember that some abilities scale with Character Level as Dispelling Strike (advanced talent for Rogue/Slayers).
Demonslayer (Ranger) / Slayer is another OP combination
Indeed it is!
Dispelling Attack appears to be bugged atm too and will result in way higher DC as Legend.
If it isn’t my favorite UA-camr… I literally made an account so I could subscribe… keep up the good work man
Apologies for the late reply, but thank you so much for the comment and subscribe, I really appreciate it!
Ah yes, the Legend "Mythic Path". Otherwise known as the Gigachad route, where you undo all your power and discard your immortality to improve your chadness.
Nah. Reject mortality and embrace godhood.
Legend is the ultimate Gigachad. I plan a "Guts" playthrough as neutral-evil legend.
It's funny how the game makes it seem like a huge loss of power yet gameplay wise it's really OP!
@@KaiReel23 Oh man, Guts is definitely chaotic neutral, not neutral evil. In fact, he has demonstrated a lot of virtues multiple times.
@@KaiReel23 if you think that Guts is neutral-evil you should REALLY read the manga again...
Thanks for your guides! As someone who usually goes solo until Lost Chapel, your builds are inspirational.
I tweaked that build somewhat for solo purposes.
Go straight for "Mounted combat" and "Spirited charge" at lvl 1, you can get "Power attack" from your Demonslayer feat. Go Demonslayer for 7 levels to ride your pet, pick Mutation Warrior 1 after, to get "Cleavinf finish" quicker.
Thanks for the tip! Solo can be quite difficult but definitely rewarding too!
Yay! I've been wanting to try Legend, tyvm.
It's certainly one of the strongest paths!
Yes this is awesome and I look forward to more legend builds. I also want to see more late game mythicals like gold dragon and swarm. Those have been the ones I have seen the lest build content for.
💯! I'd love to see more legend builds as well.
Swarm and GD Guides are coming too!
I used to struggle with normal difficulty then after binging your videos im now finding core to be very easy
Ye i learned alot of cRPG aswell. was not experienced with the feats and spells to pick and which o synergises the best. only thing i don't like as mutch is the massive amount of pets cRPG uses but that is more personal preference
Nice! The game really gets a lot more fun once you get the hang of it and the mechanics together with party synergy.
@@artje90 why would you not like pets? They are massively OP

Amazing ✊🏽 🔥🔥🔥
Great guide as always! Simple and efficient (although shame about the Gravesinger Axe 😂) My own legend play through is going Mad Dog 20 / Divine Hound 8 / demonslayer 12 with Limitless Rage and Endless Judgement as my mythic picks and using unlimited rage and judgements as much as possible. A little heavy on the pet classes I know but The other benefits from the classes are just as good even if it doesn’t give me a level 40 pet.
Nice work! I'm planning on an updated Mad Dog guide pretty soon.
if you add 1 level of Oracle you can get the lame prophecy and become immune to fatigue and literally be in permanent rage
Hello everyone,
Actually you can go over level 20 caster level very easily. Just go 20 sorcerer + 8 Loremaster, or 19 Sorcerer + 10 eldtrich knight. Any prestige class can easily get you over 20 caster level and if you have mythic spellbook you can regain your level 10 spells.
Legend is awesome for caster class, my Mystic Theurge former Lich now Legend can cast pretty much everything with like 35 spell penetration, ridiculous spell DC, 24 hour Haste, instant Absolute Death and I still have more attack with higher bonus then level 20 martial character.
You are correct, it's just that for some reason it seems you have to pick the caster PRCs before going into Legend for that to work.
Been reading all of your guides for this very complicated game, so I thought I'd drop you a sub to say thanks. Currently on a solo playthrough, so some guides for that would be great if you need some other guide ideas. Using this guide (Legend Demon Slayer then Mutation Warrior) at the moment and having more fun solo than with a party. I like Demon Slayer as solo because of the tank mount (I chose Bulwark Horse) plus damage from its attacks and a second HP pool help enormously. Just crafted Grave Singer, have enough XP for Level 14 and am Mythic Rank3. Got the Duality of Conjuring & Summoning and the Tankard of Free Spirit for summons to help on the tough fights. Will be interesting to see how things progress!!
Hi there, and thank you so much for the Channel Membership!
I haven't tried Solo Guides yet, but they are planned for the future.
Demonslayer is definitely a solid choice for solo because as you've experience, the pet makes a huge difference!
Gravesinger is amazing, and once you hit M4 as Trickster is when you'll see the power reach the sky thanks to the special Trickster Crit. Feats 😁
What a coincidence I was just thinking about starting a legend play through was originally planning on going Gendarme/Skald but now you have me thinking about Gendarme/Demonslayer.
It's a really powerful combo, Demonslayer alone is amazing!
I believe that the extra domains you get from mythic trick and the wizard spellbook you can get from mythic trick actually stay with your character as well.
I'm not sure on the later but i'm positive on the former. (At least last time i played).
YES!! THANK YOU!!
You're welcome, and have fun with Legend!
Thank you very much!
Glad I could help!
I am currently doing a Trickster to Legend playthrough with the following build:
12 Sohei
4 Mutation Warrior
4 Mad Dog
20 Skald
I know that you lose on some BAB but the 2 extra attacks at full BAB with a fauchard thanks to flurry of blows + full shatter defenses tree + horse + inspire rage (with an extra rage power thanks to mad dog) is just dope
Yep, that sounds like a fun combo indeed!
Yes, finally!
Gold Dragon Guide coming soon too!
wanted to say the exact same thing. i'm so lost when it comes to 40 lvls
So I know caster level won't scale past the initial twenty levels and that Legend works best with melee but I feel like there's probably a really good support build in there somewhere. Maybe 20 Inquisitor, 20 Bard? Full judgements, animal companion, songs, divine and arcane buffs, decent melee and even potentially summoning if you go either Beast Tamer or Monster Tactician all on one character seems amazing at a cursory glance.
I don't know if this would work, but there is a prestige class called the Mystic Thermaturge that has a prerequisite to be taken by being able to cast Lv 2 Arcane and Divine spells. Once you start taking the Thermatage class it advances your Caster level and spell lists simultaneously. In theory, if you max out the Mythic Thermatage (lv 10) and get your other two classes, for example Wizard and Cleric, to Lv 5, you would be about as powerful in both classes as you would be at lv 15 in both classes when you hit lv 20. I don't know what would happen if you kept advancing your Lv 5 classes, past that with Legend path but in theory...
Hi there mate! Thank you for sharing all your awesome builds.
Any thought of making a kinetic knight build guide? Been wanting to try that class but the mech seems weird.
Thanks a bunch.
I've never tried Kinetic Knight before, if only because it seems really subpar compared to normal Kineticist, even for Blade.
Sadly losing Metakinesis feats is a MASSIVE decrease to damage!
Transformation spell uses casting character level for attack bonus. So legend alchemist or brown fur can give 40 base attack to anyone(try with raptor - it gets 2 additional attacks on 6, 11…. base attack)
Transformation spell specifically says that "Your base attack bonus equals your character level (but not higher then 20)" - and I have tried it with Legend sorcerer with BAB 29 - it did not change it, only the abilities.
You tried it with Brownfur on someone else and it gave 40? If yes, then I'd say it's and oversight and a bug.
When I tried it - there was no “but no higher than 20” part. I guess they fixed it.
Unfortunately It was nerfed.
@@user-hb9km3nr3r not fixed but only nerfed. It is such a shame.
Sadly it was indeed nerfed for Legends, so the spell won't go over level 20 for BAB purposes now.
Finally.thanks bro.
Legend OP!
Amazing!
Thank you! Cheers!
Forester can properly benefit from their Animal Focus now. Also, all hunters now benefit from two aspects of Animal Focus, when their animal companion is dead. Additionally, hunter bonuses to ability scores from Animal Focus - Bull, Tiger, and Bear have been changed from enhancement to inherent;
Certainly a very welcome change considering how rare Inherent bonuses are!
I believe the single most OP thing you can do with Legend with regards to combat in the game is using Brown Fur Transmuter to pass on CL 40 Transformations to martial party members and/or Animal Companions.
Sadly I believe Owlcat nerfed Transformation as to not work past Level 20 with Legend anymore.
We want more legend builds! The powercreep is insane.
More Legend builds coming right up!
Hey love the guide. I'm doing a demon playthrough that goes legend and looked up your guide - went to respec to learn that you had to start as trickster in order to access those critical feats. any recommendations for replacements? Or does this build end up lacking damage without them? - thanks!
As a Legend built with 2 high BAB classes like this one, you will have uber damage regardless of not possessing the Trickster Crit boosts, especially since we are already using one of the best crit weapons in the game: the Gravesinger Greataxe!
You'll still have 15-20/5x Crits, or 6x with a Skald ally.
For other feats, I would just swap them for some of the feats I get later during the level 20+ progression.
Rage powers levels from different classes stack. 20 bloodrager(primalist)/20 skald will have +22 ac from beast totem and defensive stance. And will give it to all party members. Enough feats to get all rage powers for sharing. And arcane strike counts all arcane caster levels as I remember - it will give +9 to damage(1 at the start and +1 per 5 lvls of skald, or bloodrager)
17 mad dog/3 demon dancer/20 primalist
Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure Arcane Strike caps at +5
Few months ago it worked) And it worked for trickster wizard spellbook+levels in arcane caster
That is interesting. I swear they wouldn't stack, outside of extra Bite Attacks, but even that has been changed now!
A tough choice between going MW first for that sweet attack bonus, since some chapter 3 enemies get extremely high AC or Demonslayer for doggo and speed
Finally Legend! :D Thanks a lot!
I was personally thinking of going Vivisectionist and Mutation Warrior! but maybe thats not good?
Vivi is always a solid class, it's just that it's NOT a high BAB class, so you won't get as high possible attacks/round, damage and AB with Legend 😃
@@cRPGBro Understood! O_O
I see why you went with both high BAB and dual-martial class. This 1st Legend guide of yours is just gonna spank hard without going into Spells... ohhh fuck. I just thought of two spell casting class merged together... how the fuck would that play I wonder :P
PS With such high BAB attacks damage per round we can kinda ignore Sneak Attacks I suppose :)
Plus, we get pet from Demonslayer, so AC is a non issue too... damn amazing build as always
@@zrevan4262 you can go slayer and still have sneak attack + full BAB
@@joaocarvalhos Ohh thats right friend!
I had forgotten about slayer class! But with that class we loose our Pet Dog/Wolf no?
Let me check real quick... Yup we loose the ridable pet and will have to think about our characters AC + other defenses...
Unless we go ranged and just allow others to intercept + Distract and be the frontline meatshields... that could work O_O
If u wanna go hard on ultimate spellcaster then go 15 lvls in cleric eccentigge (I butchere it I know) and 15 lvls in wizard exploiter wizard then 10 lvls in mystic theurge prestige class, that'll give u 25 caster lvls in both divine and arcane schools, plus with lvl 25 caster lvl and extend metamagic u can turn 1 round spells into 24hrs now in both schools!
I'm currently doing a Trickster to Legend run and am trying to respec to this build. The Improved Improved Critical Feats are not available to select. They show up as "possible Selection" but do not show up anywhere on the left to select. I've tried searching them but they don't show up that way either. Did they change this in a patch? These feats no longer seem to be retained.
Imagine taking Tortured Crusader and Sohei. You'll get another 3 attacks at your highest AB for a total of 5 at highest AB with haste. Not sure if the class combination is strong, but with that many attacks and boosts (Tortured Crusader gets +40 to damage rolls plus access to fighter feats and sohei gets weapon training)
You should create a video showing how to respec all the companions to be more powerful after getting Knowledge World 3.
That's a nice suggestion indeed!
might also add which mythic abilities/feats to pick for companions if you go legend as you're limited to only 2 and don't get high mythic level bonus meaning several usual picks become rather bad.
I would really like to see a Legend build for both Xena Warrior Princess, and Hercules, from Hercules, the legendary Journeys. Please full builds
I have run a few Legend runs in which I multiclassed caster classes, and was able to get L25 caster level (adding in prestige classes seemed to allow the caster level to stack past 20). Even so, with the new +3 CL robe, having 20 caster levels is enough to get to CL25 for most purposes once you throw in items. Full martial is definitely probably the most OP way to do it, but having caster abilities is a pretty valid alternative way to do it, IMO, as you can end up with some personal buffs that hugely increase your abilities survivability (Winds of Vengeance is one that might not be obvious, but makes you immune to breath weapons [Vivakia, cough] and knocks down enemies that attack you, but a few other key buffs can leave you immune to elements and various other effects and give a lot of AC, and buff your attacks in various ways.)
A fantastic item for Legend is the Faith Bearer scimitar (sorry if I missed you mention it). It heals your party for your ranks in Religion on a crit, which for a non-legend is a heal of 20, but for a legend is a heal of 40. (This can be boosted to a heal of 60 if you have a skald with the celestial totem, which I did by picking it up as an impossible feat thanks to being a trickster, so I did also have the beast totem on my skald). If you have 50% crit with scimitars, that's 6 or even more heals of 40-60 per round, which is either 240 or 360 healing to your whole party, which is basically one-and-a-half free mass heals per round, every round.
I really hope they don't nerf Legend being able to retain lich and angel spells. My sorcerer Lich ended up with a *lot* of sorcerer spells that I picked on Lich levels (e.g. ones that aren't lich specific, but that I gained for some reason on Lich level up and left me with a lot more normal sorcerer spells per level than I would have had without the merge), and I would have been totally unable to tell which ones I picked on sorcerer level-up, and which I took on mythic level-up. This would mean I'd lose half my spells without being able to (retroactively) pick which half I lost, and it could utterly ruin my character's build. Point being, it would be legitimately game-breaking, which would ruin many people's hundreds-of-hours playthrough. Not that I think that would stop them :(
Something to consider is turning off auto-update of your game. I’m doing that to make sure games doesn’t break due to mods conflicting with me game code.
Thanks for the tip!
I was told it can be done but the PRC levels must be picked before going into Legend./level 20.
about the Knowledge 3 respeccing trick, what feats should be picked, then? Is there anywhere I could see what kinds of builds could be done for pets and followers if going that route?
I haven't done one guide like that, but it could be fun to make one for Trickster specific builds.
Ideally you want to bypass Weapon Focus > Dazzling Display to just outright get Shatter Defenses, thus saving you 2 feats.
For characters like Seelah, you can also get let's say Cleaving Finish and Weapon Specialization (then Mythic Spec).
Tripping Pets like Dog & Wolf should definitely get Greater Trip, which procs a free AoO when they trip... so always!
For a Tank Pet, you can also bypass feats like Improved Unarmed Strike & Dodge and outright go for Crane Style & Crane Wing.
Would this work with shield bashing build? ( with one handed Gravesinger)
I'm trying to plan a dual wielding shield bash Legend with sneak attack stacking off a pet and bashing finish... Seems like Demonslayer would be a good move for that! Built in pet, sense vitals, and also skipping the dexterity requirements, yeah?
Yep, that's a nice combo.
I'll be doing an updated Shield Basher Guide pretty soon.
Could I do a monk fusion in this style? Is this maybe a way to do a full lvl 20 traditional monk, or would I still stop at 11
Hey if you go legend and get power attack/deadly aim/PS and you get the mythic ability that -1 to all secondary attacks. Would you get a increase in damage from power attack and the like?
Nope, as it is tied to max BAB only, I believe.
Wouldn't it be better to pick Wide Sweep (scythe) as the weapon of choice? It's available in the start of Chapter 2, has a nice bonus that strikes every enemy around you on every strike, which also stacks with all the cleaves and cleaving finishes. Scythes have an innate X4 multiplier. The major drawback is the crit chance - at roll 20. Should we discard it because of it?
Wide Sweep is amazing for packs of enemies indeed, it's just that I already had just done one build for it here: ua-cam.com/video/cWkMO-GzLDo/v-deo.html
Trickster can really help with the Crit chance too!
Looking forward to the alchemist grenadier - Legend!!!
It's finally here!: ua-cam.com/video/3n8W2d00kAw/v-deo.html
What playthrough / which build gave you the most fun experience?
I still think about a mystic theurge with pet but because the prestige class would cost 10 levels at least for it, i haven't found one yet.
Or a dual wielding full caster with merged spellbook... 🤔🤷♂️😂
Definitely the merged Mythics, so Lich and Angel Builds for full casters!
The power gap is immense right at Chapter 3 compared to others.
Hey, have you ever considered dropping the rings, keeping Vallexia amulet and using Hammer of Masterpiece form Seelah quest for 2 extra attacks?
Nope! Hammer wise they sadly don't have much critical range, right?
@@cRPGBro I mean keeping the hammer as a swap, using the special ability on it and swapping back to main weapon setup
In regards to spell progression, shouldn't be possible to progress with prestige class? Like loremaster? For what i understand the limit here is just the level cap. I should test this.
I think so, but for some reason you HAVE to enter the PRC before getting level 20.
Yayy👏👏
Have fun with Legend! 40 levels truly is double the fun 😁
Well thats a bummer 😞, i always wanted to make a sorcerer- dragon disciple - loremaster..no Inferno character for me then.
Does anyone know how taking a class like loremaster which does up the spell level/book of a different works for going past 20. Like if I am a level 20 wizard with 10 levels of loremaster will my caster level be 30?
I think it's supposed to cap around 26 or so, but you need to enter Loremaster before level 20+ as Legend, at least from what I have heard.
on legend, you can level up the caster to 28 if you take the prestige class before reaching level 20 of the caster class. For example, he took the start of the oracle, reached the Signifer of the hell and then reached the 20th level of the oracle. As a result, my caster level was - 28.
as result - u can cast spell round/lvl for 24 hours
also, if you have merged Angel/Lich spell book, you will actually reach level 10 spells this way as well!
@@palid11 confirm. after abandoning the mythic of the angel, with an increase in the level like this - Oracle - 8, Signifer - 10, oracle 20, the 10th circle of the Angel was opened to me, despite the fact that I am already a legend)
Thanks for the note!
For some reason it seems it only works before level 20 though, right?
@@cRPGBro yes and the whole thing is very weird indeed - you can for example take just a few Loremaster levels before 20 (you don't need 8 prestige levels before 20) and then it does not matter where you put your levels after 20 - you can mix in Dragon disciple or Eldritch knight all after 20, you'll get to 28. If you don't start before 20, you will not get past 20 caster level.
This way, one can do for example a 28 Caster Level character with just 1 Sorcerer / 4 Dragon Disciple / 10 Arcane trickster / 10 Eldrich knight / 5 Loremaster enjoying both Spell critical AND Surprise spells.
Finally
I have not tried it, but if you go to say level 20 wizard then cant you boost spell caster level by adding lore master or theurge after that?
You can boost it by adding a prestige caster class before reaching level 20, then leveling the primary caster class to 20 afterwards. So at level 20 if you were Sorcerer 10/Eldritch Knight 10 and then leveled sorcerer up to 20 you can exceed CL 20. I think the max is somewhere between CL25 and 28.
It can be done, but has to be before level 20 for some reason as far as the PRC levels.
I'll have to check if it's patched out, but you used to be able to get greater than CL20 by taking prestige classes, and levelling the base caster class after character level 20.
*only the base caster class; loremaster for example will only increase CL before 20. Might be patched out anyway, however
i think it should actually work like that. Mystic Theurge will benefit a lot from this too.
My thought exactly: Loremaster, Arcane trickster, Mystic theurge, Winter witch or Eldritch knight all give more caster level on top of base class caster level, which would allow for cool builds. Of course you'd miss the great spells an Angel or Lich get, but that would allow interesting gameplay still.
It appears to work when creating a character in inevitable excess when I tried, though that is pretty buggy in my experience. Honestly though, without mythic path bonuses and more than 2 ranks of mythic abilities, I dont see pure caster legends ever being competitive. Maybe a chain lightening specialist would work.
@@notalefty999 Some of the partial-advancement classes could be interesting. Specifically Dragon Disciple...a Sorcerer 20/DD 10/Eldritch Knight 10 should have high caster level, high stats, high martial abilities.
@@notalefty999 You could easily get the 2 Enduring Spells feats for a Mystic Theurge for super buffing allowing for more of the Wenduag, Greybor, Regill, Arueshalae, Trever type characters, who don't really provide buffing but do great damage when buffed. For damage dealers take Mythic Spell Penetration and your Ascended Element of choice? The vast majority of the Mythic abilities and feats are geared towards melee and ranged dps and survivability but not much for spellcasters.
C'mon, everyone knew he was going to go with Gravesinger on this build. :D
Most OP weapon for a very OP Mythic Path!
shouldn't prestige classes increase caster level beyond level 20?
Will you please make a build with the “elven curved blade and stack PA and PS. Get luck domain please
What about caster level with prestige classes, can you go beyond 20 with for example arcane trickster + wizard? Since arcane trickster also count towards your main class progression, or is that only spellbook, I don't remember? Should be both SB and CL, no?
Even with 40 caster level, you wouldn't be a good caster, because Elemental Blast caps az 20, and Hellfire ray at 15 dies...
@@janisir4529Well, iirc they changed a bunch of stuff, there used to be spells with uncapped scaling (like chain lightning). Still, there's other stuff like dispel that scales of CL.
@@stephan4921 Maybe you could get 24 hour Haste and such if you beeline enduring spells on level 1 and 2.
But as a fire mage I'll just stick to demon and nuking the full screen 3x a turn.
@@janisir4529 I'd assume you can get CL25, since they added some DLC items that give a flat increase, but it's been a while.
Either way, I was just wondering if it's possible to get 20+ CL with legend + prestige class, since the video made it sound like you were capped at 20. I've never played legend tbh, so idk how any of the mechanics work.
@@stephan4921 I don't have DLC, those were too expensive when I bought the base game for 12 euros on sale..
But either way, I wanted to nuke the full screen, and at any caster level the spells have a cap on the dies.
If you acquire Trickster UMD 3 for the wizard spellbook, do you maintain it after going legend?
No
Nope, since you won't qualify for it anymore, I believe.
Can we have some more azata ? I'm using some old azata build that you make a long time ago in the azata guide, the spellcaster version, thanks anyway as always
I have a few more updated Azata Builds here 😃:
Spellcaster for high DC and CC: ua-cam.com/video/3SN8fJkTIWE/v-deo.html
Dual Wielder for Melee: ua-cam.com/video/HAFiZTPH3x4/v-deo.html

@@cRPGBro thanks man, appreciated really, already trying the bard and incense, but the spellcaster and the new dual wield build seems pretty interesting, gonna check those
yo finaly next swarm and gold dragon.
with 2handed archetype fighter how much damage can you do ?
I tested both, but ended up prefering the Mutation Warrior better for the Mutagen.
From what I have tested, the extra ability from 2H Fighter that gives bonus to Power Attack doesn't do much, so in the end most of it comes from just 40 BAB and Mythic Power Attack anyways.
What happens to caster level if you take advanced classes that progress caster level like eldritch knight?
No idea if it got patched, but, at least in the past, you could get caster level 28 as a legend if you had at least 8 levels in a prestige class before going legend.
Apparently it can be done, but you need to take the levels in the prestigue class BEFORE going into Legend.
what about the ability points for every 4 levels. where should we invest in them?
STR all the way!
Just completed this build, hit really hard and works really well, thanks! I was just curious though how you have 1k hp? I have around 450. Just wondering if I missed something?
You have a lot of buffs on for con maybe?
High CON from buffs and high HP classes (both Demonslayer + Mutation Warrior).
High CON can be especially useful for Legends due to how many levels you can get for increases to HP.
Would you ever consider doing a Swarm guide?
Yep, it is coming after Gold Dragon and Devil Guides!
Hi dude. Just asking, does taking levels I 2 animal companion classes (animal domain cleric and druid for example) give 2 animals whilst playing as a legend?
In 2*
Because that would be epic
Good video as usual by the by. Ain't nothing quite like a good old "hit it till it dies" build.
Thank you!
And nope, Pet classes will not stack or provide another Pet past level 20.
Well that sucks. No creepy gnome with 2 giant centipedes build then. Dangit
Would you ever consider making a Legend build for a solo Char playthrough guide?
Sure, I can make one for that!
It is a pity that Legend path doesn't scale particularly well with spellcasters unless you go Lich/Angel, and even then. I suppose full casters don't really have much right to complain though given how busted merged spellbook is.
Personally I'm going to use the legend path to get a monk build idea i've had to work. I want to try a mega multiclassed Scaled Fist Monk, with a level of oracle, 2 levels of paladin, a demonslayer ranger dip and whatever other batshit ideas I can think of(maybe 1 level of bloodrager with 4 Dragon Disciple and Limitless rage). Finish it off with Mutation Warrior for Mutagen and all the extra feats I need so that I can get Trip feats, Pummeling feats AND the Dreadful Carnage/Intimidating carnage line.
I've tried to do some version of this with other paths, but even if you only go Monk 11 you then either have to go a martial class for all the feats i want (even then, you have to make compromises) OR go for the dips. Just got back from work, here's to an evening spent on character creation in Inevetible Excess to try and plan it out!
Optimal? Hell no!
Possible? Maybe!
Awesome? Oh YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
EDIT: My other idea is 20 Quarterstaff Monk 20 Two Handed Fighter.
That is true, I wish it was easier to achieve 20+ CL with Legend since we can get 20+ BAB just like that.
Wouldn't it be 30 max caster level? Since you can take 20 levels in... say.... wizard... and then 10 levels in arcane trickster? (could be wrong, just curious)
I think for some reason the max by leveling is 28 but only if you enter a caster prestige class BEFORE level 20+
Legend can further increase their caster up to 30 by "combining spellbooks" via Loremaster/Eldrich Knight/Winter Witch
Having recently finished my Gold Dragon, 11-class, Pajama CHA-Tank meme build (Nature Oracle 1/Scaled Fist 2/Stigmatized Witch 1/Paladin 2/Instinctual Warrior 2/Arcane Enforcer 1/Vivisectionist 2/Hellknight 1/Rogue 1/Sword Saint 6/Fighter 1), I've just started doing a Knife Master 20/Vivisectionist 20 Dual-Kukri Trickster into Legend run. While I agree that the 10 less BAB is probably less great overall, the additional 20d8 Sneak Attack dice per hit just seem too fun not to try 😎
16 viv/16 cult leader/1 knife master/1 loremaster - give the same sneak attack(with 2 level spell), but much better buffs. And vivi transformation gives 40 BAB. also you have 6 free levels for you imagination
Pajama Tanks are even better going Legend indeed what with all the extra class levels for multiclassing and getting cheesy +AC abilities 😃
God I wish the late game paths had some early story gameplay just like the full paths.
Same!
It's somewhat sad that we only get them for the end game.
I was just finally settled on going for this build but then I saw he dosent go for the weapon focus til lvl 20+... is that really ok to lvl without?
Yes!
Weapon Focus is just +1 to AB.
As a Demonslayer, you start with more than enough bonuses (+2 to AB/damage vs Demons just at level 1) and it caps out at +10 as you level.
@@cRPGBro ty for the answer
This legend mythic is godly OP, even if your max 20 you will only struggle a lil bit on the DLC.haha
It is good indeed, especially when retaining Trickster, Angel and Lich stuff!
Was curious where you would go with this. There is so much possibility here the amount of bad choices is pretty low. I think going full caster would be worse not having expanded spell slots but the DC must be insane if you could go like 20 wiz, 10 loremaster 10EK.
I think the big argument is having a medium bab class or even 2. If you go 20 Ranger Demonslayer you have your 20 bab. If you take another 20 levels of vivi you have decent support casting, even crazier stats and you're only down 5 bab when you have way more than you need. And you don't have to wear the int hats because the legend stats are coving that. To go to the level of having 2 medium bab classes if you were a 20 vivi, 20 monk or 20 inquisitor or 20 war priest you're adding so much utility to have 30 bab versus 40 when you can stack so much more in buffs. If you did the honourable thing and Camellia got what was coming you could be a shadow shaman on a wolf with a full spell book and 20 levels of cav to go with the wolf.
No wrong answers with legend. I think 20 silvan sorc 20 witch would be a bad answer but it could work outside unfair
Yeah, it's really hard to mess Legend up due to the abundance of levels.
a monk is not medium, at leaST i don't think so
@@adamskeans2515 you're correct according to the wiki. My point was just that you can have 2 full medium BaB classes and still be much better than generic high BaB class and with mountains of utility
Is there a reason you only dump stats to 8 instead of 7? For INT I can kind of understand because of the skill point but CHA feels like it's pretty worthless if you don't plan on persuading people
Not really, you can certainly go with 7 if you don't care for penalty like with CHA.
How about the Devil? Any plans for this and the best builds?
Devil is planned indeed, just wondering if I'll upgrade from Azata or Aeon!
@@cRPGBro That's something I was wondering too. I even planned in my Azata playthrough to try to switch to the Devil, but power of freedom (and Aivu) took over me. I have not tried Aeon yet, only read about this.
I would have taken Always a Chance for the mythic ability since it would be SO frustrating to miss with a nat 1 when you have +125 ab..
That is true, it's just that as a Legend you at least have so many attacks/round and for bosses, there's always Fortune Hex to avoid that!
One, the caster level thing is sort of wrong. You CAN go past caster level 20, you just have to have picked up a prestige class that increases your caster level.
So you could go Wiz7/Clr3/MT10 into Lich/Angel. You keep all of the Lich or Angel spells. When you go gigachad Legend you lose the caster levels that Lich/Angel gives you.
Then you go Wiz15/Clr15/MT10. Caster level 25 in both Arcane and Divine spells, so Greater Enduring spells for both classes! You have to take Extra Mythic Ability: Greater Enduring though.
But the caster level CAN go above 20 if you really care for it.
Trickster can ALSO get a full Wizard Spellbook. Do you keep that going Legend? I know you should technically keep the spells, but not sure if you keep the ability to cast. If so, GISH!
I think the problem is you need to pick the PRC levels before level 20 and going into Legend for some reason.
Sadly, you won't keep the Wizard spellbook as it is reliant on retaining the UMD3 Greater Trick.
@@cRPGBro Yeah I figured the spellbook part. If you know you are going Legend, you can at least grab a level in advance. Heck, most likely you won't BE 20 when you grab Legend and will be fine as it.
Would mystic thurge allow you to bypass the spell caster level cap
I was just thinking that. Maybe even Sorc 10, Oracle 10, MyTh 10, Loremaster 10?
Yes, but you have to enter into it before Legend, so the cap can become 28 CL later.
Does lunge work with bite/gore attacks?
Yes, it should work with all melee hits.
Wait howmany dual wield attacks per round a dex legend can make? like 16? (ofc its not optimal but i think it's kinda funny
Yep, something like that!
I have achieved a similar result in my recent Legend Rogue here: ua-cam.com/video/yNK8XSwLSc4/v-deo.html
Wouldn't two handed warrior be better for this build. You will loos a little bit of attack but you will gain a massive damage boost from strength and power attacks
I ended up prefering Mutation for the Mutagen, which really is OP.
The extra Power Attack damage from Two Handed Warrior doesn't seem to add up much from what I have tested.
I believe that dipping 10 lvls into brown fur transmuter/16 lvls into vivisectionist is better for the entire party, since 40 lvl transmutation on every melee character is no joke and is bit more interesting than base High BAB character i believe.
I was also thinking about 20lvl gendarme/8 lvl inquisitor with traveling doman so you can charge in and teleport out as swift action and then repeat. I would highly appreciate if you would try to make this build work somehow, because i think it would be really fun to play
But what good does it do when always having a brown fur transmuter mercenary in the group? ;P
@@MuppetLord1 For some reason it gives twice as much bab than 20lvl mercenary transmutation (since it's based on your character level instead and it's not capped by 20)
Sadly, the Transformation spell was nerfed so it no longer goes over 20.
@@cRPGBro oh damn, thanks for letting me know, was thinking about playing this build again when new character comes out but since it's got fixed like elemental barrage ig i won't do that and play something else for my last playthough:p
To tell the truth I would pick a bow for this LEGEND Path and class combo because you have so many attacks that with an axe you will kill enemies in range and will still have attacks left but you will have to use the next turn to move to an enemy so each turn there is a big chance you will waste some of the attacks because of you moving while with a bow you will use all your attacks each round as long as there is any enemy alive.
A machine gun of death.
Be it ranged or melee, Legend really is king!
Guendarme and Two Handed Fighter is the combo for max dude bro build
As good as it gets!
Does this means I can actually have a legend with 1 round 24hrs buffs?
You can, even for non Legend casters, but it usually takes until endgame for non merged Angel/Liches.
Better creating a Legend from merged Angel or Lich with all mythic spells, to have more buffs also 10th level spells and be even more OP ;) But truth be told it will be fixed at some point.
It's great fun indeed!
Lich wise I really enjoy the powers though, not so much Angel which is mostly about the spell.
is fixed the right word?
did they fix 20+ caster level via prestige classes?
From what I hear, it still works if you enter the prestige class before going into 20+
Would knife master 20 + vivi 20 give you 20d8 sneak attack damage?
It should, as I was able to get higher than 10d6 by combining multiple classes in my recent Master of All Rogue Legend here: ua-cam.com/video/yNK8XSwLSc4/v-deo.html
@@cRPGBro Thanks! Will definitely be incorporating elements from your guide into my build. Gonna make a chaotic evil Demon-Legend serial killer build to pair with our lovely Camellia and run Kukris to make up for the lack of Trickster improved crits.
Anyone got a save file right before u pick legend?
Is it worth to to for Cleric 20/Wizard 20?
For a combo of Divine/Arcane magic, it's better to go with merged Lich or Angel, and then Mystic Theurge Cleric + Wizard.
Later you can go Legend, but 10 Mystic Theurge is still optimal as it will progress both Arcane + Divine spellcasting at the same time for 10 whole levels.
@@cRPGBro that makes sense, so it would be Mystic Theurge 10 and 15 levels of both Wizard or Cleric you say?

I have never tried Gestalt before, but it does seem interesting.
