Hello! I have one of these variegated types of spiral style euphorbia. It Has been under grow lights and growing well.. but it grew up past the grow light and I didn't notice and now has long skinny growth at each of the tips. Is there any way to save this? Can I cut the tips off? What will happen to the main plant if I do so? Please help! :)
@@haleraiser2299 Hi there :-D yes you can cut off the skinny growth to just below the normal growth, your euphorbia will form a hard white crust (callus) at the top and will re shoot from the side and this will encourage more of a bushy growth, but protect your hands and skin and eyes when handling and pruning Euphorbia, as they have a milky white sap that can irritate skin and eyes, Good luck with pruning your Euphorbia and thanks so much for watching and have a wonderful Wednesday XXXX

Hi Daniela :-D so happy you enjoyed the video, yes the good news is you can remove the pups and plant them up into sol, but its best to wait until the spring to do this, and when you have removed the pups wait a couple of days to allow the cut parts at the base of the pups to dry, and then plant up in a very well draining cactus and succulent soil, and keep just the very top surface of the soil lightly moist to encourage rooting, good luck with your propagation and thanks so much for your wonderful comment and for watching XXXX
Hi Jake :-D Most cacti need to be grown separately from Succulents because the majority of succulents need very different watering requirements and overwintering requirements to cacti, you can definitely grow them together but not plnt into the same pot/s as succulents often need more watering than Cacti especially during the winter months, thanks so much for watching ad have a wonderful plant powered Tuesday today XXXX
