Hi Brenda! Thank you! For more precise measurement I recommend a hygrometer! But I tend to just use my weather report and on dry days I crank up my humidifier. I haven’t had to turn the heat on in my house yet so I can go with my local weather report.
Thanks for Introducing your succulent friends😉🙏💞Is that Euphorbia lactea 'ghost' have rot on the stem? or is that burning? Anyway, have a great night Patrick 😌🌃💖
thank you for posting patadendron! keeping us hopeful during these crazy times, so some quick advice I cannot find a raven zz for the life of me anywhere in the LA vicinity, do you have any leads? have a great planty day
Thank you!!! I'll keep an eye out for raven zz's and let you know! I've only seen some at Houseplant Nation in Orange County, back in December, but ill keep a look out!
@@Patadendron thank you my plant friend, yeah it sucks because other plant people in the east coast have them all over their vids and have even found some in the clearance sections, so crazy how its nowhere to be found here in southern CA, you got me on the euphorbia tip now, hey what do you think of Alocasia Xanthosoma Albo?
@@rodrigoestiva6126 I know! I get jealous of east coasters too! They get to find raven zz at Lowe’s 😂😭 I do love those! Are the same as the Mickey Mouse taro? That’s another east coast plant that I never see out here!
I'd love more desert plant videos 😍 please!!! I'm in AZ and I recently got some property where I can do yard work, I'd love to do a cacti or "native" garden. Although they would have to withstand some snow, I live in the White mountain area. I'd really appreciate it and I love your videos 😊😊😊
Oh my gosh Patrick my daughter was gifted a cutting of a ghost cactus. I got it rooted and it was doing so good. So I thought I should give it a bit of water. Wrong !!! I killed it. She was not happy with me at all. So I made a 2021 plant list for us. Once the weather gets better in our area ( late spring ) sis will be getting a nice size ghost cactus. ( I will have to order one that is why I will wait until late spring. ) She just loves cactus plants of all kinds😊
Oh!!! No!! Well the bright side is the newer and bigger ghost cactus is on its way! I’m excited to be doing more cactus videos in the future that I just hope she loves! 💚 I’m curious to hear more about your plant list though 🦻🏼😂
@@Patadendron oh my gosh she will absolutely love that !!! So last year I made a small list. And I got all but 2 out of 20. I keep buying other plant I found and reacently realized all the times I could have bought the 2 I didn't. All the money I spent on shipping for plants that wasn't on my list could have bought the 2 rear plants I wanted. Now that sis loves plants and really wants her very own, we decided to make a large list and only buy what is on the list. We will not buy other kinds of plants untill our list has every plant crossed off. We have some rear and some that we just really like. As of rite now we have 60 plants. I figured that's not too bad for 2 people... Lol

@@Patadendron I got it today from China. It is bare rooted. I will keep it out of the sun until the roots establish again. It has lots of white and has very pink tips on it's branches. I also got a big variegated hybrid Gymnocalycium that is red and green like Xmas, a trichocerus bridgesii monstrose p@nis cactus. A small Copiapoa Tunisma and a baby LW ceaspitosa. I also got a Euphorbia Ammak Variegated 10cm baby from a seller at home in Australia for $43 AUD delivered. Big ones cost $$$$ I have wanted an Ammak for some time, now I can watch it grow big. I have a small varied collection and a small greenhouse. I need to stop buying cacti, but I have to get a Euphorbia Obesa next.
I love my plants that are thriving because they give me joy when they're happy and doing well. Too bad I don't feel that way about the ones that are not doing well, lol. I guess if they die, I won't mind too much. 🤣
Hi Florianne! I just forget to water it, and I keep it outside so it gets lots of light! I just keep it under a shade so it doesn’t get direct full sun. They would love morning sun though! And water about 1-2 times a month. That’s how I keep mine alive.
Yesss! Love these! 🦴 🥰🤗🥰 see ya next time

You ever propagate the white ghost 👻? Just cut and let dry out before planting right ?
Yeah!
i think cactus is the only plant that will survive on my condo haha..
Haha you’ll be surprised!! But yes cactus can be fun and easy if you have a bright window 🌞🌵
I was told that almost all variegated string of pearls turn back green, is this true?
I hope not. I think the trick is providing enough light to maintain variegation. I’ll have to see how it goes!
