dementia arc is slowly coming to an end, thank you fartnato.
Nono he’s just on temporary meds. When he gets to the so called “twilight stage” of his anti onset dementia pills, Anthony will experience strong withdrawals, this is exactly why I’ve been telling him to change his doctor. The man will be soon riddled with spots, red boils and his dementia will return with 2x the severity he had it previously had it. I pray for this man
@@jamosbigjaw1791I’m fucking dying to this reply 😂😂
King Gizzard is great, the reason you haven't had the urge to listen to it again is because they'll have another great record in 8 months or so
Idk if this is news to you or you're in the know but their next album is literally next week lol
This is fax
@@dylansamuels359that's news to me, thanks for the heads up lol
Huge fan of them, but I can understand that casual listeners can feel oversaturated with the sheer amount of stuff they release
@dylansamuels359 ha. Okay 8 days. 😅
Picking a top 3 is hard because there are so many good albums this year but
3. Heavy Heavy by Young Fathers
2. softscars by yeule
1. Beloved! Paradise! Jazz? by McKinley Dixon
King
heavy heavy is really good
The Lemon Twigs’ new album fills my heart. Sometimes with joy and sometimes with great sadness, but you’ll feel something all right.
1. Knower - Knower Forever
2. underscores - Wallsocket
3. Caroline Polachek - Desire...
The Caroline album is so good
Lana Del Rey - Ocean Blvd
underscores - Wallsocket
Sufjan Stevens - Javelin
AYLIVA - Schwarzes Herz
I cannot decide.
Maruja Knocknarea (even tho it’s an EP) is still the best thing I’ve heard this year
Its up there with the live Parannoul record.
That’s what im saying that or ooh rap I ya by George Clanton is my pick so far
parannoul & maruja are my tie aoty's
Kakistocracy best track of the year
1. Grouptherapy- I was mature for my age but I was still a child
2. Paramore-This is Why
3. JPEG MAFIA + Danny Brown- Scaring the Hoes
Honorable mentions to:
Lil Yachty- Let's start Here
Hozier- Unreal Unearth
1. utopia by travis scott
2. maps by billy woods
3. desire, i want to turn into you by caroline polachek
I listened to the Lemon Twigs again yesterday. It's creeping up my top albums list, just gorgeous and classy through and through. Every set of picks in this short was awesome.
For me:
1. Utopia
2. Lets Start Here
3. Life is But a Dream
4. How do You Sleep at Night
5. Never Enough
Rolling Stones album could make the list
My 3 is scaring the hoes, this is why, and how do you sleep at night. Nice to see another teezo fan
We are the band that named their album METALLICA
Seems like you’re just chasing clout by doing that.
@@Handleneeds3ormorecharacters math rock police
BLISS (Tech N9ne)
I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Teddy Swims)
PUNK TACTICS (Joey Valence & Brae)
I’m over here holding on to utopia, business is business, and ocean Blvd for dear life

3. underscores - Wallsocket
but top 3 albums melon hasn’t covered:
Slayyyter - Starfucker
Defcee & Messiah Musik - The Golem of Brooklyn
Fatboi Sharif & Steel Tipped Dove - Decay
the vault and deluxe kinda suck
but the speak now re-record of the og 14 tracks are basically perfect. i think the 2010 version is pretty annoying but her matured vocals and updated production is really make the songs hit harder. (and actually a lot sadder with retrospect, last kiss never made me cry before and now it’s full on sobbing)
billy woods had TWO fantastic albums and no mentions 😔😔
1. KGLW - Live at Red Rocks
2. KGLW - Live at Chicago
3. KGLW - PetroDragonic Apocalypse
based

1: The Patience Mick Jenkins
2:Utopia
3:Lahai (?)
Scarin the hoes or let’s start here could also be a comfortable 3 for me, I need to do a few more Lahai relistens but so far it’s beautiful and unique
I think this is somewhat of a basic selection, but I think I'd go:
1. Kara Jackson
2. Lana

This Is Why by Paramore
The Album by Jonas Brothers (yes I’m serious it’s really good and Jon Bellion does his glorious thing all over the record)
agree on the first two but man that jo bros album was a miserable listen
I definitely would not put Jonas Brothers anywhere near my albums of the year list, but I respect the fuck out of you for it.
@@whoopzdayz44 thank you, I appreciate it🩷 and I respect you in return!
At the end of the day I’m such a huge huge Jon Bellion fan that I’m almost always going to be biased in favor of most projects he works on lol. Every time I heard Jon yelling some ad lib it instantly made me happy lol. But yeah I do really like this record, I thought there were a lot of interesting quasi-experimental moments (parts of Sail Away, Wings, Summer in the Hamptons, and Walls come to mind), good writing, good production, good melodies, and overall a bunch of harmless fun 🤷🏻♀️
Buggin, a new (2018) hardcore band from chicago, droped their first full length album this year and have to say it, not top 3, but big debut, great record.
