- After sitting watching out the window as people walking past the van, it brought back unwanted memories, so i randomly drove to Gloucester to meet my friends.
The River Seven holds secrets of the past and the Gloucestershire cathedral was putting on a awsome night time laser show.
Join me as i get to enjoy quality time out in the van.
My name is Sean, i have been living Full Time Van Life in the Sprinter van again for around a month now. I started this lifestyle because of my 20 year broken relationship and after living in the van months of living the van life ive started to put my life back together and build for a better future. I have turned my original van into a badass camper van that is lifted with all the toys. Over the years ive converted a Standard V6 long wheel base van to now, living fulltime in a jacked up van with Siri and Alexa as my companions and driving off-grid into the country and living life and moving forward .

Hi Sean, that was like a TV show, brilliant, there are 2 boats in middle of Severn where you were which people lost their lives on, at low tide with a drone you can see them clearly.
Some of the wrecks you saw were owned by my wife’s family years ago, there is also one with a copper hull sunk at entrance to sharpness docks to shore up entrance, it is completely covered but all still down there.

Hi Sean, congrats on hitting 4,000 subs 👏 I've been to Purton Ship Graveyard on the River Severn. There was a riverbank collapse in 1909 led to concerns about the strong currents of the River and its erosive power putting at risk the Gloucester and Sharpness canal so a quick resolution was required. Between 1909 and 1970’s at regular intervals barges, trows and schooners were taken out on the tide, towed by a tug towards the shore and then charged up the bank. Holes were then made in the hull to allow the tides to deposit the silt inside. Most vessels were beached in the 1950’s and now as a result the ground level has built up meaning you can now see a few barges lying on top of earlier ones. Stay safe mate 👍

@@ProjectCamper they were filled with concrete to keep the barges in place, so they could protect the river bank from further collapse.
I remember being subscriber 98 👍...if you like boat wrecks you must go Kent,Gravesend direction and also dead man's island where they used to dump the dead bodies of pirates,bones are always still visible...fantastic area to walk and explore
