Yes Jason is the real deal. And a real dude in his own right. Interview him once and some people fake it till they make it. He has the sauce and it works. All the student has to do, is do the work.
I like the genuine warmth at the end of the video. I also like that there is now a business model I can be 100% comfortable with. I am transitioning out of education into business and finance. I am not the biggest fan of social media and needing a social media presence in order to do business. This is the way I think works best for me and my skill set and I'm very excited at the thought of getting into contract management.
@@joness2873 I would start small , like locally because the Contract Officers are more willing to talk to you. I have talked to so many people just learning as I am going. Also, I think changing your mind frame really helps too. Once I stopped doubting my abilities, I was able to complete my first contract. I have been watching Jason's videos for a few weeks now. And I have never felt as confident as I do now. I went for my first bid and I won't it. I couldn't do anything but laugh. You got this. Also, if you have any questions look up your local PTAC. If your contracting officers aren't as friendly as mine, PTAC as a great resource for beginners. Good Luck.

it's not that easy. you have to be able to write the proposal; it's not just submitting a price quote. And you have to have capital or large credit to support Net 30 terms on the product RFP's. Service contracts 50/50 on those.
It is that easy you making it complicated, you don’t need capital because we not putting money up to do the work cuz we’re not doing the work. He even answered your concerns about the 50/50 in the video. Go get it my brother 💪🏿💰
You don’t need credit or “large cap”….you pay the subs net 30. They don’t get paid until the gov pays you. However you DO have to be able to articulate that correctly in order to get the subs to get the job done.
Great episode. Definitely will be taking his course. All he is is a broker for the work. Similar to trucking, a freight brokers gets the work and they sub contract it out to trucking companies. The trucking company takes the load, the broker get a percentage for finding the work. Same difference.
