  • [RE-UPLOAD] Disclosure: I got this tent for free, but was under no obligation to write about it or film it.
A two-person double-wall tent that's under 600 g? If that sounds too good to be true then that's probably the truth. In this video I take a look at the ultralight tent and share my first impressions with you.

I had the stitching come away on its first use! I sent it back and got my money back. It's a lovely tent and I loved it so I was so gutted. They have put time and effort into getting it light but there is no quality in it. I'd never trust it in even a very light storm. I had the one man inner and you get a decent vestibule then.

The outer is the same for the 1 & person tents. You either have the choice of 1 person and gear or 2 people without equipment. I have the telemark ULW1 and it’s a bit of a love hate. For warmer camping it’s fine but in cooler weather the condensation is real bad

The Packsize and the Weight makes it perfekt for me. Because i need a tent for Backup. On Long distance hiking i prefer to sleep in hiking-protection shelters, or in hostels. But i take a tent with me. The day has come twice, that it was dark, it began to rain, and the next hostels was 30 and the next protection shelter was 12 kilometers from me. So i built up my tent, and slept in the woods. My actual tent is near 4 times that heavy and minimum 3 trimes the packing size. I think i will get one of these, as fast as i can. It has enough space for me and my Backpack and even the very small apsis has enough space for a pair of shoes.

Appreciate the honest review! Too extreme for me.

I think they did quiet well for this weight.. I‘m climbing and need a very light tent for one person. This seems ideal… but the price is very high.

Nice review. Nordisk just went too far with this tent. I have the Nordisk Telemark 2 LW I and wouldn't try to sleep two person in that one too, but at least it has a decent apsis and fine sitting height.
Furthermore I saw another review of the Lofoten 2 in snowy and rainy weather. The zipper on tentfly is not waterproof, so water was dripping into the inner tent 👎

Thanks for the further insights Claus! The Telemark is a popular tent, Chris Townsend also uses one on & off!

Yeah, it's REALLLLLLLY Expensive. You can get a great cuben shelter + inner + bivy for that money ;)

@@HendrikMorkel With worse breathability in that setup than in a tent tho :)

Looks way to low in the foot end. You are not on a sleeping pad even. Most pads today are 3" or 7cm thick!

Hallo Hendrik hast du es wieder zurück geschickt oder kommt noch ein Video? Falls nicht ich würde es gerne mal ausprobieren, würde die kosten für hin und her übernehmen (Finnland Norwegen Finnland) LG

Seems quite dishonest to market that as tvåmannatält. Wtf nordisk?! And no vestibule whatsover...shit.

do not buy this tent, absolute rip off. For a tent this thin and lightweight and the price ticket that comes with this, the company should hang their heads in shame for not even offering a package where you get the footprint with it.
To add to this, the pitching of this tent is a hot complicated mess. Everything looks and feels the same that when in a hurry you have no idea what you are doing. Also trying to feed the main pole through is harder than playing operation while drunk.
