Can i ask you how much of fabric is that so i can make sure i am buying the right amount?
Hiya! For a big reversible bonnet, I’ll say you need 1 yard for one … you’ll probably have some left over ❤️
New Subie here! GREAT video! I am definitely going to try this once a get a sewing machine!
Yay! 🎉 Welcome to the family!

Question where does the 14” come from? You just picked a number and said 14” is that the circumference if someone’s head
@@lacraysha1 it’s a standard that has chosen to work, feel free to make changes based on desired result. Compliments of the season

Awesome Sis....
Thank you so much 🤎🥹
You made it look easy. I tried it and ended up looking like one of the Mario brothers 🤣
You’re hilarious 🥹😂😂😂… give it another go, you’ve got this ❤️❤️❤️
Pls.. how do I measure for kids from age 0-5 and 5-10 ? Thanks for the class 🙏🙏🙏
Hi rukayat. For babies or young kids a radius of 5”/6” might work and maybe 6”-8” for the older kids but I’ll advice you try that out on scrap fabric to be sure you’re happy with the size first. ❤️
You’re welcome 😘
So Talent.
Thank you so much ❤️❤️🙏🏾
Very good😍
Thank you so much for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed it ❤️🤍
I have a new one out today, you might enjoy it ua-cam.com/video/xX21ET89a20/v-deo.html
Hi! I love this video, so helpful! What is the size of the elastic you used?
Thank you very much. I’m so glad you find it helpful... it’s half an inch wide. ❤️❤️
Thank you for the lesson😍 please I have a question What is the tension, stitch and the width🙃 I am new
You’re most welcome. The tension & stitch width will differ from machine to machine. I like to keep my tension somewhere around the middle. Ensure the bobbin is placed right (anti-clockwise) & stitch width recommended will be somewhere around the middle too. Some machines have 1-5 and others 0-6 so you just need to find the middle of yours.
I hope this helps ❤️
Great
Thank you ❤️
how many meters of fabric would i buy or how may can i make frm 1 meter of fabric
Hiya! See the description bar for details ❤️
Thanks so much for this video just one question is 14 inches the measurements of the head going around and you added inches to the elastic from that measurement that was taken?
Thank you so much. When you’re say 14” is that for cutting out the circle? It’s basically how large you want the bonnet to be. That’s the radius technically
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask any further questions ❤️
i will try to see if i can do it
You’ve got this Julia ❤️❤️
@@SewUnique_ng yes i try yesterday for my litlle baby and i made it an i want to make for elder people but i can't do it its so hard
@@juliawatuluka9205 I’m sure you can. Feel free to watch this video again, slowly & at your own pace. You’ve got this ❤️
Hi what is th width of the elastic you used
Hello! It’s an half inch elastic. Check out the video description for the details ❤️
This is so detailed. Thanks sis for sharing.
Thank you so much for watching ❤️😍
I made one of these this morning by following your video. I made it because my niece wouldn't stop pressuring me to make her one and she loves it. I made it with royal blue and black satin. I put blue thread on the bobbin and black thread on top so I have blue thread on one side and black thread on the other. Now 2 other family member want one. Thank you so much for the tutorial.
Well done Sheena! ❤️👏🏾👏🏾
You did amazing well & that color choice is fantastic! You’re probably on your way to making 15 more! Good job mama ❤️
@@SewUnique_ng thank you! I see many more in my future. Now I'm off to look through your tutorials. I hope you have one for a bow headband
@@itzsheena5941 I have a few headbands but no bow. You can send a picture to me on Instagram to see if I’m able to do a video xx

Hello! A local market next me, it’s called aleshinloye. Where are you?
@@SewUnique_ng I am in the UK

Hello. Lovely video. Please is that satin or silk?
Hi Mia 💕
Thank you so much.
I used silk for the black bit then satin for patterned one. You can use any of them though but I personally prefer silk ❤️

How big should radius be for other sizes?
Hello! Kindly check out the description bar.
However for adults I recommend anything 10”-13”.
I hope this helps
Thank you so much ❤️❤️
Happy new year to you & yours
@@SewUnique_ng the description bar doesn't mention the radius. Only the fabric sizes and elastic sizes. Can you add radius sizes for each please? Happy New Year
@@SewUnique_ng Hello in the bar with the measurement you did not give the radius for the teen, kids and baby can you give the radius thank you love your work be safe
@@maliniebasdeo6587 hi Malinie! Thank you so much.
For teenagers you basically want to keep the radius at 8”-10” but I’ll say do 9”
And then for kids (this is a guess as I’ve not done any for toddlers) I’m guessing a radius of 6”/7” might work
Maybe try cutting out the circle on scrap fabric first & see how big it is.
Sorry I couldn’t help much ❤️🙏🏾
@@SewUnique_ng Thank you the info is very helpful 🌻🌻
