Nydri is a town and a community on the eastern coast of the island of Lefkada, Greece. It is part of the municipal unit Ellomenos. The community includes the small village Rachi. The Greek National Road 42 passes through the town. Nydri is a popular tourist town.

Just had six days in Nidri, lovely place!Not one bad meal, friendly locals. Main problem for us was, not many areas to sit on the beach if you don't want a sun bed.
Those sun beds are also tight together, literally on top of each other.

Very nice. This brought back many memories as my wife and I stayed in the Palm Trees Hotel in Nydri back in 2012, then we kept our yacht at Lefkas Marina from 2013 till 2021. Sadly BREXIT and Covid brought our very enjoyable time sailing in the Ionian to a very sudden halt and the boat had to be returned to the UK last year. We stopped in Nydri on many occasions during the past ten years but it is interesting to see how smart the Main Street now is and there has certainly been a lot of work done during the past few years.

Will you be going to Parga. You must go, it's a wonderful place with lots to see. There is Parga Town, Valtos beach and Lichnos beach.

Interesting! What is the best way to get from Athens to Lefkada? Is there a KTEA bus line or is it best to rent a car?
I guess if you would rent a car, it can get expensive with gas prices high, but you can make stops on your way and get to see more places, but bus is also not a bad idea, also you can fly to Perveza that's also an option!
Lefkada is one of the Place i wanna visit nxt i read an Article in an German Magazine that it is as of now a None so Touristic Place in Greece and the Iland also has a lot of Greens..
By the way you are now a Traveller in your own Country 😁 and thnx alot for showing us many Places we can Visit nxt. We Truly Apreciate your Hard Work ..
Thats fake what the german magazine wright. There are not so many german tourist, but july and august is full full of tourist

But you Have to visit very nice island with top beaches

When you enter Nidri the is the first beach. I don't exactly remember the name of the beach.

How much does it cost, to take a boat and to go some exotic beaches, like egremni kathizma etc.?
I think the minimum will be 200 euro and you can go up high as you want.

Haha That's what I guess 😅 but there are other bundles and packages available around 35 to 50 euros for one person will take you to at least 5 beaches.
