Very pleasant, informative and well-paced comments - the new gen4 SP to succeed my current 2020 SP. Looking forward to getting down on a number of projects again: Tail tidy, weight less 5-7 kgs (-11,5 kgs on my current bike), Pro-tune (get the fulling optimized right - lose the factory limitations), swap the exhaust system for a full aftermarket Akra racing item, braided steel brake lines and uprated track / road brake pads, comfort seat, semi-high windshield (can cruise on the German Motorway at 150-180 km/h all day, makes a signficant difference on the race track (in combo with custom racing leathers and a Pista RR helmet) at top speeds 249 km/h in 5th and 263 km/h in 6th, GPS -8%). Confident to transform the new SP into force on the mountain passes again 😊💥🏁
The display and tech on this bike is insane to me! Great review for such a small channel I'd love to see more POV footage and some commentary while you're riding, like first impressions etc.

Fantastic review! Lots of technical insight, you earned a new sub. 😊 I have the 23 MT09 SP... I found the bars far too high and front end a bit on the soft side compared to the rear which felt about right. I've fitted lower bar risers from the old FJ09 which has made a huge difference to front end feel it doesnt have that numb vague feel any more... but I still wish the front end had a slightly stiffer spring ( for my 102kg rider weight) So it's great to have confirmation that I was on the right track due to the fact that Yamaha have done exactly these things for the 24 SP model. Great bike and fantastic vid with good content. Congrats.
Excellent review 👍 by the way, what boots are you wearing and do you recommend them as I'm interested in getting short boots to wear with motorcycle jeans?
A geat review .. thank you Liked the suspension recommendations …. Could you provide a conversion to English Could you detail your height and weight Night time riding ... lighting … you do expect modern bike lighting to be up to par but after riding and owning the Triumph Speed Twin which is lethal at night l don’t assume this any more

I'm laughing so hard thanks for this 😂I think it's some kind of video artifact issue but that plus the dub and it's well into uncanny valley territory lmao
I own a ‘24 MT09SP but rode a 765RS this time last year. The Triumph engine is very refined UNTIL you reach around 6000rpm. Above this, I found the vibes through the seat, tank and foot pegs unacceptable. The MT09 has minimal vibration throughout the rev range. The Triumph is very firmly set up from the factory, and I didn’t have the opportunity to adjust it. The Yamaha set up is definitely a bit more supple. I’d say the Triumph has a slightly more stable front end, but the Yamaha wins in the fun stakes. It depends what your priorities are. You’ll love either in my humble opinion, unless, like me you prioritise engine refinement..
The basic controls such as the blinkers and the honk should have been an international standard to comply, and everyone should have been the same in exact location and shape. Fuck manufacturers for putting shit wherever they please. I felt myself struggling whole seconds trying to find the honk or the blinkers when i needed them, something that could have put me in danger.
I think Yamaha is about to give us the clutchless system in 2025 gor to MT 09 . Similar to mountain bicycle shifters . No clutch in the left handle which is much better and the shifters are in the left handle instead of the left leg which is a preferance and yamaha has prefered the left handle position but I have somerging to say regarding the location of the shifters. All riders would prefer the clutchless platform, no doubt about it , yet many tradtional riders would prefer the shifter staying in the bleft leg insted of moving ti the left handle. I think Yamaha can give in the same bike the option shift gears with a left bar shifter or eith the left leg in an interchangeable manner ; Lets the rider wishes to shift gear so he can choose to do it either way on the gly without the need to turn of any of them to ingage the other... It is a more variable approach which will make the new system more pleasing for a wider croud- both traditional riders and non trafitional rider , may be new riders. By the way itvis not a smsll detail it is achuge detail
Probably the most thorough Motorcycle review I have seen. Very happy to have found your channel. Thank you

My current gen2 SP was optimized by -11,5 kgs and me personally -9 kgs, made a significant impact on the track and on the mountain passes 😊🏁
