I’m not sure what mood the old, atmospheric,eerie movie fall under but sometimes that’s what I want… especially if it’s raining outside. If you want something cozy, I recommend The Changeling (original)
Train to busan was one of the best films I've ever seen with some of the most emotional scenes that almost had me in tears and i never cry. So glad you finally saw this awesome movie, just don't bother with the sequel.
I love this series! A couple moods/settings I would love to see your recommendations for if you haven't done them already: Girls night, date night/when you're in a romantic mood, movies for when you've had a really bad day at work

I think a combination of “heck yeah they made it” movies where the characters you really want to root for get their happy ending recommendations along side “oh no, they really aren’t gonna make it” recs would be really interesting. So that we know, going in, is this gonna end positive or negative.

I personally really liked the found footage movie "Phoenix Forgotten" I feel like it's pretty underrated, and rarely talked about, but if you like found footage, a desert environment, people hiking, Blair Witch, ufos... I feel like people would really like it!
After watching this video last night I immediately watched the loved ones…I’m a horror fan but not a big torture movies girl but it was SO GOOD. I haven’t stopped thinking about it, such great performances and it actually made me sick to my stomach, which horror hasn’t done for me in a while. For birthday I highly recommend The Game directed by David Fincher, soooo underrated.
Nice to see Creep on here. I remember trying to find it but there a ton of movies with the same title. Surprised being trapped in the underground metro hasn't been depicted more.

I’ve never heard anyone mention the movie “The Hole” before, or even know what I’m talking about when I mention it. It’s been a classic favorite of mine since I was a kid.

Me and my boyfriend watched Train to Busan for the first time late-ish last year (he's not a big movie guy and I very rarely watch foreign films, aiming to change that lol) and I absolutely bawled at the end
Caught me a bit off guard cause I thought I might just cry a little bit, but that ending just got me
I had never heard of Sunshine before watching this video but it sounded like something I might like. I watched it last night and can confirm it is a great, underrated film that more people should see! I'm not massively into general sci-fi stuff, but I like those where there are thriller/horror elements, and this film definitely has that. You'll be on the edge of your seat the whole time!
I was looking at your master list of found footage (love the genre too), and didn't see The Troll Hunter (2011) . It's a Norwegian film, so it subtitled. It's one I tend to recommend. I believe it's currently on tubi if I did my research right. :) Love your channel!

I feel the same about zombie movies but another one that surprised me was The Night Eats The World. Train to Busan is a masterpiece and also made me sob.
Note for Hill House: There is animal cruelty in it. It's a brief moment, and it's "for plot," but it ruined the mood for me and I had to walk away for... a while. I don't handle that well

I watched Gonjiam based on your praise and sadly did not find it scary or entertaining at all. My bf who is very sensitive to horror wasn’t even scared 💀 idk what I wasn’t seeing but it seemed a little silly to me
Oh you want to cry? then Jacob's Ladder is for you. I cried my eyes out from beginning to end with that one. If you didn't know grief before you will after watching this.
Gonjiam is so good! It's definitely a movie to watch in the dark!
Horror in space is awesome. One of my favorites is Event Horizon, from 1997. A dark and twisted atmosphere. Underrated. IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes are wrong, by the way.

Damn, what are the odds you recommend Pan's Labyrinth the weekend I aim to watch the animated Alice in Wonderland, and Dreamchild 1985 (the unnerving drama by the creature team behind the dark crystal reflecting on the girl who Alice in wonderland was baed on's sus past with the author. ) along with Pan's Labyrinth right after. I was looking all over for horror youtubers who talked about it, and you fell into my lap randomly!
The original house on haunted hill with vincent price is one of my favorite old scary movies

the 2000's hidden gem's and one of the most underrated movie's is Venom 2005 and we craven's they. I love those movies. Venom is original good kills its just a fun ride. voodoo new orleans, bayou setting is so good. They such a good horror flick. Great visuals good scares and suspense and again original. I think you will like these movies.

15:15 You might want to re-watch _House on Haunted Hill_ because Evelyn did NOT want to have her birthday in the asylum and Stephen did NOT invite a bunch of strangers, the ghosts changed the guest-list to be the descendants of the former hospital staff.

I am talking about the one with 2 teen boy’s fine a girl chained up in an old abandoned building and omfg….. That’s all i can pretty much say. I was a loss for word’s after watching that. I would say Alien is one of the best space movies, and it also uses practical effects. 👽
