Lots of times people actually forget about this. It's not just a photography/cinematography-thing, we should do everything we love, not just because it's lucrative, but because we have genuine fun in doing it. Keep the videos coming boy!
The Purpose of this video is why I daily vlog. It pushes me to go have fun, be creative everyday and make new friends! It forces me to surround myself with people who are better than me and I learn so much more than I would if I sat at home watching Netflix.
I've watched most of your videos, but this is the one that caused me to subscribe. Sage advice and probably the biggest factor in why I have never let photography be my job, but mad respect for those who do!
Peter, I'm glad you showed your daughter and your dogs in the video. Sometimes it is important to show that you have a life outside VLOG. Sometimes we get the impression that we can not do the same (videos) because we are always very busy with everyday things, and as we can see, you also have a daily life like all of us.
I originally didn't really enjoy the vlog format before getting to the meat of your videos, but the more I watch, the more I like to watch them simply to catch another glimpse of your personality. You have a fantastic attitude and are doing some great things!

Such a good point. I always made excuses not to shoot but, this past year, I began challenging myself to go out and shoot midday, in the snow, during rainfalls, etc...I think it's strengthened my skill significantly. It's also made me more confident in myself when shooting in challenging situations.
After working a 12 hour day doing visual design, something that started as a passion and is now much much more work than I could have ever imagined, I really needed this video today. Thanks Pete.
