- Sinematic Seth enters an abandoned high school undergoing demolition. The building closed in 2021 to make way for a brand new school, but this one was used throughout 2020 during the COVID-19 virus outbreak. As Seth and his friends explore the school, they find that everything was left behind. Classrooms, classroom supplies, the gymnasium, the theater, and much more. Even the power is still on!

This is sick! My primary school has been abandoned for 13 years now, and I can't help but wonder what it looks like inside now.
Search it up and do research. Maybe someone filmed it

hey! i was a student here. we did not have to abandon anything, there was a new school building being built next to this school. this was a plan before covid! we actually moved into the new school in 2021 meaning this building was still in use up until then (i attended during this time). the stuff left in the building was stuff that was either not removed yet or was not needed in the new school so it was demolished with the building. we knew that we had to move out like years prior to the demolition. this school didn’t seem that old and was built in 1971. however, the building was run down, classrooms didn’t have windows, no running AC or heat, and had asbestos. we needed a newer school and so we got one. it was not a surprise and while this school has character, it was a dump. needed an upgrade. we got to say our goodbyes and our new school is much better! i promise it’s not that sad. :)

I went to school here. It was abandoned for a few months before they tore it down to build the new highschool on the same land.
Laughed when Seth said someone named “Erin Hills” won the US Open medal. 😂 I live in 15 mins from the Erin Hills course in Wisconsin where they hosted the Open in 2017.

Pretty dope spot-still nicely fitted out-could not tell it was from 1873. That fish was just so neat! All my schools were built in the 50s and 60s but were so super basic. We have a shortage of schools so would never abandon or demolish one unless it was already structurally unsound. My secondary school had huge ledges about 6 feet wide outside the windows running the length of the buildings - kids would literally climb out the fire escape grill door and crouch down below the window level to skip class or run bent over to ‘visit’ their friends in another class if the teacher for that period was absent!
this building was opened in 1971! the high school name has been around longer than that but received this space in 1971 not 1873!
Fun fact: I graduated from there back in 2017! And what's crazy is I never knew until now that there were extra areas!😲

I REALLY love Seth. He has an amazing personality and we LOVE haunted creepy content. MY ONE CRITICAL ADVICE is maybe improve on the editing. One reason channels like Sam&Coby and TFIL have AMAZING haunted videos is bc their editors make it feel like a movie. Even small things like background music, transition sounds, etc which can make the video more dynamic and can make a world of a difference.
Sometimes your ghost hunting can be boring or flat or drawn out. So definitely improving the editing or getting a better editor would be a great investment for growing your channel and following.

I disagree, for paranormal I just love to see the content with out the background music which often stops you from hearing conversations or the spirit box for example. Editing is great for exploring videos but I think personally paranormal should be kept as uncut as possible.
Personally I love Seth’s editing. Especially for Beyond the Dark. I cannot stand the channels mentioned. They feel so OTT and fake. Seth KC and Josh keep it real
Nah Sam and Colby as well as TFIL imo over edit. They put music/sound effects over certain parts to make it dramatic which I think is totally unnecessary and they over-dramatize things to make it seem like the biggest evidence ever (it just seems fake). I'll be honest, I used to watch a lot of TFIL and Sam and Colby back when they only did travel vlogs and exploring vids, but it got annoying when they started saying things in ghost vids like "Give us 100,000 likes if you want to see us come back here again" or when they freak out over the smallest things. So when I found out abt Josh, Seth's, and KC's channels, I saw how genuinely excited they get over evidence as well as capture AMAZING shots of the places they are exploring.
I don't care for videos that are edited like movies, I just want to see people genuinely loving what they do as well as capturing beautiful shots while they are at it.

My momma old school was tear down in 2019 or 2020 which sucks cause we have fun in the (old gym) 😭 it had to be tored down cause the old school (we called it) old already have fall apart so they building a other school for extra classes room

it does hold a lot of memories but we do have some parts of it in the new school! i’m now graduated but i promise i was not at all sad about this school being demolished. it was not as nice as it seems. it had character but other than that it was kind of nasty. the stuff left behind (aka the furniture) was not needed for the new school and so it was demolished with the building. they probably could have repurposed the furniture but it was left behind on purpose.
When did this school get built
1971! doesn’t seem that old but the place was just very outdated and a new school was built next to it. this school was demolished and a parking lot/sports fields take its place.
If you decide to explore an abandoned school if the lights and power is on it could mean someone is still paying the bills and for all u know they might be there.

Wait why was this place abandoned?
wasn’t abandoned per say. there was a new school being built next to it for the high schoolers to move into. this building while only being 50 years old was not well kept and was gross. they had us in this old school until april 2021 and then we moved to the new school immediately. demolishing started a few weeks later and during those few weeks they were moving necessary equipment out.
All the world's a stage and all the men and women are ... "nearly"? It should be "merely", lol! I'm NOT surprised that no adult in the school pointed this mistake out and corrected it. So much for their college degree(s). The original quote: "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts." - Even the original quote has a flaw. In order to make sense the last part should read "And one person in their time plays many parts."

we didn’t need it! all the stuff left behind was intentional! we got new furniture and some parts that held sentimental value (and weren’t asbestos filled) we brought to the new school. they also weren’t finished removing everything in this video but everything left behind when it was being demolished was on purpose since we didn’t need it anymore. however, the school could have probably repurposed it.

Its sad that this building was demolished, even though its old. This building could've still been used. All it needed was a remodel.
a remodel of the school would have been lovely… if the building didn’t have asbestos in it. that’s why it was demolished. to get rid of the asbestos entirely, the building would have to be demolished and rebuilt anyways. also, the way they built the new school next to this old one, we could still go to school until the new one was open. if they had remodeled the old school, there would be nowhere for us to go.
The schools only 50 years old that is such a waste.
