The decay between Josh's and your video is tremendous. Unbelievable what Mother Nature can do within such a short time frame. - Thanks guys 🐾🐾🐾🐾
There's something so oddly comforting about watching haunted and abandoned videos in the middle of the night when you can't sleep, but especially when it comes to my favorite UA-camrs. You guys and a few others are just so comforting and calming to watch, and genuinely help me feel safe
I bet that would be a cool place to investigate at night. Especially the untouched room where the mother probably died. Her spirit is probably still living there
So wild to see a place frozen in time like that. And how fast nature starts to reclaim the space.
I have never felt so attached to and invested in an abandoned house before. My son and I both were so intrigued and backed up multiple times to take in parts of this home and discuss the possibilities of why it was abandoned the way it is. I wish we knew more than the little snippet that Seth gave (or knew). This house seemed like it was probably incredibly beautiful when it was actively lived in. I would love to know more and to see pictures of it. Also, I love the tremendous amount of respect you have for these places.
What a great property. I can never understand how something like this gets abandoned. I know sometimes there are legal tie ups but this has been sitting for so long. Very sad. A lot of someone’s family history there.
You know its a awesome day when, Sam and Colby AND Seth and Chase post 🤟🏻🤟🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
And I think #MackieandAmanda are scheduled to post today. Sam and Colby were especially great, it had Celina SpookyBoo and KallMeKris! It's like an early Christmas!
Something about old houses decayed, but yet you have a vase with flowers, sitting on the table and taking a picture is the most beautiful picture. I don’t know if anybody else feels this way.
It looks like that house used to be beautiful at one time pretty unique
Seth luv the camera control on the pan shots, pullouts, running and floating shots. Even the unsteady. Coupled with the tunes. It's a calm and eerie mood. You have a cinematic gift. Luvd Alaska, please do more ✌️
The respect you guys have for these places is wonderful. I love your abandoned place videos.
Seth: *holding up a floppy disk* do you know what this is?
Chase: it’s a square!
Seth: good job!
I enjoy your explore videos. You give an empathetic perspective and highlight the beauty among the rubble and the decay of these abandoned locations. Please never lose that.
Hey Seth, the device that you asked about was a reel-to-reel tape deck. They were popular about 20 years ago before CDs came out and they were used for playing music or recording , and were components of higher end stereo systems.
Filmography on this one was great Seth. It showed us more life within the home, & I felt a connection with the place more than just plundering through. …you should ghost hunt in abandoned places, maybe in a way that’s informed by your growing awareness of yourself & humanity. I see you growing as a creator & a person, & it’s pretty cool. Keep strong, keep true, & sensitive of course ❤
4:30 that is a magnetophone, (open reel to reel). It is used to play and record audios.
My dad had one in the 70's and he showed me how it is used when I was very small. I am born in 1980 and I grew up with cassette players and vinyl records in the 80's and early 90's.
I would LOVE a video that is half of this abandoned exploration (love the b roll, music, and vibe of just wondering what their life was like), but the other half to be you getting out equipment and asking if anyone is around! Maybe there were spirits that lived there when the family did - who knows what answers you'll get.
I'm a new follower so I didn't know that you had done exploration this before. I felt transported from my work desk to walking around the house with you. So so cool. Love what you both do!!
You guys definitely need to make some Borden Brothers merch for the rebrand 👀
Ha! That little white tv is exactly what I had in my car to plug into the lighter and watch tv. Tripped me out. How time flies!
Old school vintage reel to reel. Magnetic tape. I collect vintage sound and image equipment. Reel to reel was the boss for high end sound back in the day. ✌️
That's awesome that I'm seeing someone elses view of this house. Exploring with Josh is awesome too
obviously exploring abandoned places can be dangerous but it's always so peaceful when your just chilling out alone (or in my case with a friend), it always gives me a strange sense of nostalgia which i really like. keep up the good work, love u 2
First abandon video I have seen from you guys! You should bring it back! I love seeing places from back in the day and the history that can be told from the little objects!
Coziest walmart ever. Love the videos dude keep em coming !!! 👻
This video is so chill and calming. Loving seeing the old style windows and tiling, esp that painted tile on the fireplace mantel. I would love to see more exploring abandoned places mixed in with the usual ghost investigating!
Hope you'll both stay safe when exploring these places. Love the cinematic b-rolls and the ambience and calming music. Really lovely.
Typically I have haunted videos as bg more listening and half my attention but with your videos I feel like I'm missing out if I don't give my visual attention. Your shots are so beautiful.
the exploring videos are so interesting and kinda peaceful because you get to see some cool ass vintage stuff and all the decay and the history behind it.
YOOO- THIS IS THE SH*T I LIKE!!!! I love abandoned stuff. At first I thought one of you was gonna fall when you were running away from that dog (Idk why), and the place looked ✨stunning✨. Love y'all, keep doing more pLEASEE🖤.
Always love when you guys post! Another great one! 🖤
HAHA! That dog though! Chase bookin it out of there!! 🤣🤣Cool video! I like how you both are so chill! 😁Stay safe guys! ❤❤
@4:20 that is called a reel to reel. My dad used to have some amazing 70's folk music recorded on dozens of reels. You would put a full reel on one side, loop it through the pully system and hook it to the second reel that is empty on the right. Then you hit play, it runs along the device that somehow like magic turns that reel into beautiful deep sounds =)
Awesome video!!!!!! you should really have brought some ghost hunting equipment!! Love every video you guys make, it makes my days so much better!
Love it!!! That just took me back in time!!!
Well done with slow mode and music.
Please yous two to stay safe doing these locations.❤
The angles you capture are another level of talent 🫶🏻 I love your abandon videos!!!
What is this: 4:19 that is a reel-to- reel deck. A lot of music was originally recorded on these and transfered to L.P. (long playing) vinyl records or 8 track or cassette tapes for sale. Several original copies on reel-to-reel are in storage of several famous albums and worth a lot of money. Often when a "digitally remastered" album is released, they are digitally recording it from the reel-to-reel.
11:00 "square" - 3.5" floppy disk, like a thumbnail drive - these held a whopping 720 KB.. Some word processor typewriters also saved onto these discs. There were also larger, actual floppy bendable, 5.25" and 8" discs.
8:25: tinfoil antenna- yes, we had to use these a lot. With or without the wire coat hanger. You would have to turn it to try and find a clean reception of a broadcast. Mostly when the factory antenna broke, would be when you would need it - too much moving the "rabbit ears" around would break them. You could also make a tinfoil snake. I don't remember them being needed much when color TV's were widely available in the mid 1970s, so they must have boosted the receivers.
Keep your curious nature!!!!
Great video Borden brothers!
Josh was there. I don’t know the time difference from when you filmed and when he filmed but in the living room that little round blue table had different stuff on it between your videos. So people have been there.
The fridge is cleaner on the outside in his video. This is creepy but awesome, seeing an abandoned house and two different creators I watch post, and there's so many differences.
It's so sad that homes just sit and decay, and the families seem to disappear.
The small tv in the kitchen was a personal tv. My uncle had one he would take on vacation. I wanted one of them too, but then i got a portable dvd player. It's amazing how fast technology has improved
Seeing these is always heartbreaking. So much of a past life, left behind 😢
Chase just had to outrun Seth 😂 poor Seth! He had a head start on you!! 😮😂
Hey guys, great to see you again thanks for another great video. Stay safe out there. Love you guys. Keep up the great work.❤❤
There is kind of a sadness to see a former home in ruins...
This was so fun to watch, I'm totally living through you guys exploring since I can't right now. Thank you both for the fun content🤘 I saw and enjoyed Josh's as well. I loved both takes on the same place. You could probably go to the same place and find new things every time
I am loving the brother collaboration.....
theres a whole abandoned neighborhood here in STL, airport bought it out, evacuated/relocated the homeowners and did nothing with it. its pretty cool, community center and all.
I don’t get the chance to do this stuff but I would kill to do what they do, if I met Seth and Chase In person I would beg them to take me with them haha. I always say abandoned places share story’s without words and I live for it it’s all gorgeous, even if it’s falling apart I would love to do this stuff. I respect how you guys don’t destroy anything like some people do. Much love ❤
Seth at time 4:29 the machine is a Reel to Reel tape recorder does the same as a voice recorder. Thank you Seth and Chase for the trip down memory lane.
👏👏👏👍👍👍I always love a good exploration vids from my favorite UA-camrs!!! 🥰🥰So amazing to learn more of the history behind some abandoned places and have the privilege to know the place before when it’s still at its glory. I’m so overjoyed to see Seth and Chase in to action. A very well done job there boys!!!!! 🖤🧡❤️💖💞🩶🤍
Hi Seth & Chase. What a nice property to explore. The house looked a mess and the ceiling was in bad shape. But the hallways too small to walk through them. Someone would have to walk in a room and let the other person pass to another room. God Bless you both. Glad you got out of there. Take care. Mari'a. 🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙💙🎄🎄🎄🎄☃️☃️☃️🧑🎄🧑🎄🧑🎄🧑🎄
The millennial in me died a little bit when chase didn’t know what a floppy disk was 😅also I believe that machine in the cabinet was used to play back audio recordings like you’d use a film projector for videos! I’ve seen some during investigations at old asylums or hospitals!
I love the bridge part. It reminds me of Shrek & donkey trying to cross. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
4:29 Seth that is a recording projector you can watch movies. You can record videos and put the videos onto that film and watch it as a movie.
I liked and shared this video 📹 out your welcome Seth and Chase.
I don't know the exact date that Josh explored this place, but what a huge difference! It was impeccable when he went.
You guys should bring your ghost hunting tools to these places. Many times they end up being "occupied". Lol.
Some times, when you build a family and the person you love so much that you want to marry them and spend the rest of your life with, when you loose the love of your life, sometimes heartbreak can make you loose your mind from grief. My heart goes out to the family broken by unfortunate circumstances. 😢
The little bag on the nightatstand would have been a table decoration from a wedding. Likely their own.
The way you document all of your abandoned videos is just incredibly beautiful. So much respect to you both for just going there and admiring it! 🤍
YALL!!! at the end of the video when Chase dipped, my heater kicked on and it scared the shit out of me😂😂😂
My daughter and I are going to Trans-Allegheny in February for a ghost tour. We would love it if you guys could go too!!!!
Love the abandoned videos, but so much is from when I was growing up! I always crack up when you all have never seen some of this stuff. I have done a some exploring in abandoned homes before. It's the best
Mystery object looked like it could have played film ( like old film strips [movies] in grade school that was attached to a projector) and shown on a white screen or blank wall. Of course the window blinds would be closed and lights turned out. They were originally in black and white and changed to color when tv etc changed.
Hi!! I love watching your videos. You do get camera work and editing. I just wanted you to know when you went in the basement had you followed the hallway you would have come to what appears to once been a game room with an old ping pong table with the paddles still and even further down to hallway you would have come out in the garage with a boat on a trailer and some other things. There is also a “work shop” I would call it that has the guys tools along with a dry erase bird that has all his writing on it of household chores and renovations that he planned to do. Exploring with josh did cover this house recently but I always love to see another explorers view on the same property. Keep up the great work and I will continue to watch and subscribe. Thanks and much love.
Gave y'all a follow just watched the Rumford Maine video
more abandon places please enjoyed watching this 🐕🦺🐕🦺🦮
That was a reel to reel for recording. Around before vinyl records. Works on same principle as reels in movie theaters.
This was actually really interesting and cool and i was honestly scared foe you both if you were gonna get caught or haunted.. hoping to see more of these videos
I loved this video, thank you.
And Seth-youre gorgeous!
the grey square is called a filppy disc lol
Chase that’s a tennis racket and I happy you’re back to your roots love your videos 😊
Yes you can still buy glass block. Available at Homedepot and place like that. Live glass block. Adds an amazing touch to any room. So cool
Seth Was Good Bro Dying To see You with Twin Paranormal Again Thumbs Up Bro.
I'm pretty sure that thing you saw (before the phone) was to play those old school movies that were film canisters. I couldn't see if the projector itself was missing... or it could have been an old school recording device missing the large tabletop microphone. I'm only half way through the vid, but I wonder why it was abandoned so quickly
It is a floppy disk that you were holding in the monitor room and the tin foil above the tv is an antana to get more channels
Been exploring abandoned houses since a kid. I believe they draw you to them. An innocent walk down the street wherever I'm at always ends up with me outside a creepy, decayed, overgrown dwelling. 🖤
Exploring abandoned places is always cool. This was fun!
more of my favorite and the best!!
Mother Nature is truly beautiful.
That was a fun video! lol love u guys 💜
Mostly Important the respect that you give to these locations speaks volumes!!!❤🙏🤗😘🤗
Awesome explore .❤
That was Great! Glad you guys got out safe without getting eaten up by the dog! haha! Oh, that was a reel to reel tape recorder and pretty nice one. After that they came out with cssette recorders with transistors instead of glass tubes. Stay safe and God bless bros
The thing with the record player is a film projector, before VHS. What the movie theater used, some people had them in home ❤ I used to want one when I was a kid and I am no where close to being near that being old hill
Y’all are my favorite UA-camrs ever ♥️
my adrenaline is high, full on high for abandoned places! 🖤
In the beach house, the blue basket by the fireplace, i have the same one at the foot of my bed
Of course I want to see more from you guys. I enjoy the videos and Chase I am on your channel also
This place was so cool i can imagine it when it was a home, hope you guys are well, havent said hello in a while to you
Exploring abandoned places can probably be dangerous, not only the decay, but possibly homeless hiding out to stay warm. However, it doesn't look like you take unnecessary risks. Also, the respect you both showed for this property is awesome. I hate seeing abandoned places that have been trashed by people rather than nature. The history behind abandoned places can sometimes be sinister, other times, just unknown. If you guys coukd find out any other information that would be cool
I love abandoned videos. The thing that is my favourite about abandoned locations is that the history of the place is encapsuled and just sitting there. What’s even better is when it’s only falling apart from natural decay and time. It would be a dream to have a study/ library like this one with the sun coming through and a beautiful view🤩 Definitely wouldn’t mind seeing you guys exploring more abandoned locations🙌🏻
Josh explores it.... Must explore the lake house there... But I like your videos like this with your brother ❤❤
I remember this Josh filmed that place last week . Must of been a cool place years ago !!!
I am old, I have been around since before vhs tapes came into existence. Lol.😀
Just wanted to say... Thank you for that lift Chase. 😏😂 But seriously... What's with that hole in what looks like a living room area, clearly there's like a hinge there or something, so there might've been a door there to close the hole. But yeah that's creepy. But that place is freaking huge. The architecture though. Wild.
The tape thing was a reel to reel. It was pre-cassette tape but worked on the same principle. I used one when I worked at a radio station back in the time when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
Josh was there and the house is much worse now. So sad…
That thing you were asking about was a movie player 😊
That's a real to reel tape recorder like Lorraine Warren used that's bad ass hard to find
That place looks awesome
Cuyo oh no, run!😮
It looks like it was abandoned in the ‘90s or very early ‘00s. You had diskettes, and the Keith & Aimee bundle looks like a wedding favor. I believe you should be able to get the address from some of the mail or magazines and look up public records and then try to get a history on why it was abandoned, etc. I hope this helps you with future explorations!
Hi Seth. Take an old person with u. Hehehe, one of us would be able to tell u what things r. The object with the real in it was used well before the cassette tape recorder. The tiny TV is definitely older than u. I don't know how we saw anything on it. The foil on the antenna was a serious solution to TV reception. Incredible, but, it worked. Too funny Seth and I really enjoyed the video.
More abandoned videos? 👀
Yes
HELL YEAH
YESSS:D take doggo treats next time 😆
#HELLYAH
I like the paranormal aspect, but I'd watch what you decide to post.
