- Hello everyone and welcome back to the channel!
As I have been anticipating over the last few weeks, it is finally time to upload the first high-speed train tripreport of my trip to Italy.
Today's video features the whole experience riding Italo's Alstom AGV from Rome to Venice in Smart Class.
I hope you guys enjoy the video and find it useful. A lot more tripreports coming over the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
On to the next one!

main rail station,,,with grass between tracks..all the guys who waits are fauna...and the grass is flora
Great.
Italo does not only operate the AVG. That train you went on doesn't appear to be one, but one of their ETR 675s.
You are right! I didn’t know about their ETR 675s, but this was one of them indeed. I also had a trip on one of their AGVs though, so stay tuned for that one!
@@railingaroundtheworldytb Which did you prefer?
The ETRs are newer I believe, so the interiors are nicer and more spacious. However the AGV was quicker which was cool.
@@railingaroundtheworldytb I agree, and I think both are nicer than the Trenitalia offering.
I actually found the Frecciarossa better. I’ve got a few of those coming as well!
I mentioned it during the video; the ticket was €43. As far as I'm concerned, Trieste does not have high-speed train services, at least by Italo or Frecciarossa.
