and another, separate comment I wish to make: what distinguishes David Peknuy from hundreds of other similar channels is the level of KNOWLEDGE and understanding that shines from his videos. Nothing fancy, nothing superbly presented, just clear enough and fully usable for enthusiastic DYI guys like myself. I am in my mid sixties and I am sick and tired of the new age fancy "sellers of hype and "tricks" that in reality have no real knowledge. In my case, there are just a few channels that I regularly follow (like Scotty Kilmer's, Diagnose Dan and a few more) and David Peknuy which I consider to be well deserved is in my subscription list.......really a good and valuable source of automobile knowledge 🥰

I follow your videos for a long time now...and always find something interesting. In this one I learned what that "funny noise" means when I shut down the engine (in the garage, not easily heard in outside noisy environment). The end of the video (dpf regeneration) I cannot clearly understand ? Did you start the regen via OBD port ? I suppose that would mean that there must be some sort of valve in the exhaust pipe further down behind the DPF....like in my 2018 dci Duster ....this would enable active regen even in low rpm like in this video....????

Hi. ✌️🤝, yes I turned on DPF regeneration with OBD and computer. It’s possible to do also on Duster.
