She sounds like she was a bit bi-polar. Not her fault and nothing she could control. I personally believe that no one really dies alone. That their guardian angel is always near them and most certainly there with them as they pass from this temporary life, to life eternal.

Unfotunately, age of consent in Iran is not 18 like most parts of the world and getting married at age of 16 at that time was not such a big deal .It happens even now ,and even at younger age .There are child marriages happening and it's really disturbing.
In the USA the age of consent is not 18! It's different in every state but in some states it's 16, 15 and even 14! You're so ignorant and an Anglophile probably

He needed a male heir. Her father was in exile, politically active against the Shah's father and she met the Shah overseas.
The Shah's mother and the Shah's twin sister hated all his wives. They picked on her all the time. She was way better educated than EVERYONE in his entire family. She had already started University.
And she didn't have a crown. No Queen was crowned until he had a son.
And if she was born in 1932, in 1951 when they married, she was 18/19 years old.

She was born on June 22nd 1932 and married on February 12th 1951. So she was actually 19 year old, and nearly 20. Not 16. Her husband Mohammed Reza Pahlavi was roughly 13 years her senior.
