Morning Jason. Great video to start my day. I love the droneage. Good way to spend time with family. Congratulations on your chanel numbers. Well deserved with the excellent content you produce. All the best Helen😊
A bat in the van! Hilarious 😂 Congrats on milestone subscribers -great achievement. Loved seeing Rubicon & Eildon via drone - always such a different perspective. Thanks again Jason 😊
That's the most interesting house guest I've had so far 😂 I need to do some exploration bike rides around Rubicon. Still a few more interesting things to see 😁
Congratulations on the 4000 subscribers!! 🎉 Looks beautiful where you camped. I’m glad the car camping worked out good. That bike track looked insane! I’m glad you made it out of there ok lol. Hope you’re holding up ok in the heatwave. Great idea to get high up on the mountain to escape the heat.
Kurt and Kasper are such a cute couple. They make you look good Jason 🤓 I wish we met your other son in Colac. I think watching you interact with your family enhances your videos and makes them more interesting.
Great journey and video Jason. Congratulations on reaching 4K subs. Kurt and Caspers sleeping platform seemed to work pretty well notwithstanding the issue with the pillows. You sure packed a heap into this video and as always left me inspired. The bat inside your van was a bit of a freak out! Take care and all the best, Sean.
Congratulations on 4k! We go to Marysville every year - it's the trip our family most looks forward to. Great mountain biking for me AND for the family. My friends own a brewery in Alexandra (not that you're a drinker), but if you're in the area stop by for a pizza - On Point Brewery. Love the engineering of the Ford Focus preventing fun skids in a carpark. ABS ruining everyone's day AGAIN
Possibly. I spent about an hour searching but couldn't find anything close other than some of the king eared bats. It was hard to get a good look at it in the dark.
Hey I’m thinking of Vanlifing it for a while & continuing to work @ Avalon mon - Fri. Weekends I’d be staying @ gf’s house. Is it viable finding places to park overnight without getting hassled too much? Cheers Ken. Ps enjoying your content 😎👍
Thanks Ken. Typically I have 5 or so places in an area where I'll stay and avoid staying in the same spot for more than 1 night. Probably not too bad as you just drive to your sleeping spot after work. Depending how secluded it is though....if you arrive too early, you might attract attention. Typically in the cities, I wait somewhere public until it gets dark, then go somewhere to sleep...then get out early. Definitely doable, but in the long term you might get noticed. Hard to tell. I stayed around Geelong for about 3 months last year with no issues. Just keep quiet, don't make a mess and hopefully everyone will leave you alone 😁👍
Great video! I was having anxiety watching your mountain bike ride and reminded myself that you made it or we wouldn’t be watching the video hahaha! Did your drone survive its swim from last time?
How did your son and his GF find the car sleeping setup in the end? Any improvements to be made? There is a MTB Park at Buxton, have you ridden there? If so, how is the trail?
They were quite happy with the set up. It will serve its purpose for now. He's looking at a fridge to buy next...just some cheap stuff. Been to Buxton a few times, but its been a bit hot at the moment. Also need to ride Eildon. Haven't been there yet.
They actually got better after that section and I think you're right. I've got a 170mm dropper post and had it down for the entire descent which I think caused the pain. After that I lifted the seat back up for about 20min of climbing any they came good again 😁👍
Very interesting place the Old Power Station, I wonder what it be like in a Flood. A great place to Explore. I'd be surprised if the Local Council put them Logs there like that, in that car park. Was that a new Drone or your Sons? Man that is one crazy down hill run, lucky you've got a great bike!

I wanted to go back to Rubicon this week, but too hot!😂 At least it's cool at night down here.
Kurt and Kasper are such a cute couple. They make you look good Jason 🤓 I wish we met your other son in Colac. I think watching you interact with your family enhances your videos and makes them more interesting.
😊 thankyou.
We'll probably see my younger son and his wife in a video later this month.
Really interesting locations. Thank you
Still a lot more to see there 😁👍
Congratulations on 4k!!! Great video!
Thanks Chrissie! ☺️
Bat Van!
😂😂👍
Thanks for a great weekend! You weren't kidding when you said the lake mountain descent was a rough one..!
It was great having you both along. And thanks for being my drone pilot!😁

I'm happy their bed didn't collapse in the middle of the night 😂
Very nice weekend!

Thanks mate!😊
I've been to Marysville heaps too. Nice spot!
I'll have to remember to check out the brewery.👍
Eek😅 scary ride down that cascades mountain trail, those flimsy nets not filling me with confidence 😂😂 but you made it one piece ❤🎉😅
😂 bonus to not crash...came very close a few times though!

Ahhh I thought you were up! You are running late.....
I think that bat might be a fairy bat. We have those up in Taree/Wingham area, too.
Possibly. I spent about an hour searching but couldn't find anything close other than some of the king eared bats. It was hard to get a good look at it in the dark.

😂 the fact that there's a video is a good indication of survival 👍
My drone is gone....that was my son's drone.

Are any houseboats still on Lake Eildon? I often see them advertised for sale there, relocation compulsory.
I think I saw a few. Didn't really go very far around the lake to have a look.
If your knee pain is an ongoing issue, think about raising your seat height. I have always thought you sit bit low.
They actually got better after that section and I think you're right. I've got a 170mm dropper post and had it down for the entire descent which I think caused the pain. After that I lifted the seat back up for about 20min of climbing any they came good again 😁👍
Gday l sub because you've got great content and your such an easy going guy very relatable thanks for the videos there AWESOME
Thankyou very much, Heather!😊
Great to have you following along.👍
Morning! Not sure what scared me more, the bike or the bat!! Did you check the fridge for beer?
😂 yeah, but if a shock to be woken up by a bat. But it was a beautiful little thing.
Not sure I'd dare open that fridge!😂
I did notice 4k subs, I men't to congratulate yuh on that but was to busy blabbing in My other comments & completely forgot! lol.
😂 thanks Jason 👍

It would be interesting up there in heavy rain. Still a lot more to explore too.
That was my son's drone. I'm probably going to buy one real soon 😂
Don't tell me, let me guess. Blue is your favourite colour? 😆.. and your son's it seems!
Is it that obvious?😂👍
Casper the friendly ghost
😁 She spells it with a "K" to avoid copyright issues.
Did you manage to get your old drone repaired or is that another drone?
Not yet. That was Kurt's drone.
