See for yourself what the people that have to deal with the cars drive. Only 3 salespeople and 0 technicians/ parts drive Hyundais, and we get a deal if we buy one. Most everybody drives Toyotas. Says everything you need to know about your 100k warranty Hyundai. I'm not hating, just my opinion. Black out job looks good though.
10/10 for giving yourself credit before letting everyone know that being a "master diagnostic technician" means literally nothing. The last person I'd ever let touch my car is anyone at a dealership 🤣. Here talking about reliability yet drives a boosted fa20.. go lay your unsolicited opinion somewhere else.
@@gazoogarage Okay no problem. I can agree about the Fa20 being shit. I also appreciate your opinion. Time will tell the truth about your Hyundai. Good luck to you sir!
First of all i would go on 21 Zoll. Then i would go on 245 Tires. And then maybe would do yours but first nice Tires
Yes! The Pzeros def need to be swapped.
@@CaliforniaKonaN Most people don't understand u need a great rim and nice tires and ur car is halfway done
Why black out the rear badges then put white ones on the side? I could have understood black ones.
The white on the side skirt is the OEM N part from the factory. I kept the N badge on the front and back chrome. The OEM part doesn’t come in black for the side skirt but maybe someone will create a custom part or Hyundai might release other colors in the future!
@@CaliforniaKonaN Sorry meant why didn't you spray them like the back badges
@@steveturnbull9542 ah gotcha! I was thinking keeping the N in chrome just to stand out ha. They make black N badges that have the red and white in it. If I sprayed it all black it woulda made the whole N logo black.
Como decimos aquí..."Aunque la mona se vista de seda mona se queda"
How did you install the rear ones? You didn’t show anything with the spacers etc smh
The .25 spacers go on the logo side of the mudflap. So it goes: washer, bracket, mudflap, spacer (behind the mudflap) then the screw goes through all those parts and screws into the pop clips (that replace the factory yellow factory screw).
@@CaliforniaKonaN awesome!!! Thank you bro! Just one question what are the pop clips? And do I have to remove the yellow things?
@@Molino-Red Yeah you gotta remove the factory clips which are the yellow things and use the pop clips in its place!
@@CaliforniaKonaN thank you I did it!
@@Molino-Red ah that’s awesome!
I’m tempted in trading in my 2019 Honda hybrid for a Kona N. BUT the 2023 iteration may just be a better version of todays.
Gorgeous car bro 🫡
I've seen some spy shots online of the redesign, I think it looks sharp! I feel the engine specs for the N would remain the same but def exciting with the exterior updates and maybe some platform things the Elantra N have would be nice.
Good luck with your next purchase if it is the Kona n!
@@CaliforniaKonaN thanks man! But Yeah same on the exterior! I want to see what interiors they come up with as well, a nice red/black seat combo would be sick
👍
The only mod for Kona....
It must be Electric!
Love the electric moving lab production N cars they showed off! Would be dope to see a Kona EV_N with whatever power the Ioniq 5N has ha!
Hyperdip better than Plastidip?
I never tried plastidip but dip your car guy on UA-cam said that hyperdip is a better and improved spray. It’s been great for me so far!
Is that blue tape regular painter's tape or automotive specific painter's tape?
Just wondering if I can use my regular painter's tape like the one you use on your house walls.
@@delasmoo Yup just regular painters masking tape.
@@CaliforniaKonaN OK, thanks!
Will you do a resonator delete?
Two things.. first, it'd have been so cool to see it after everything was done from a couple angles. Second, mud flaps are never cool. You must have been a Subaru guy huh? Lol
Ha fair enough! I think they look good for this body style personally.
@@CaliforniaKonaN in all honesty do you love your Kona? I have an A91 supra with bolt ons and tune then a 19 ram for my daily. The ram is no fun. I've wanted an N car for months. I test drove a race red Kona N and loved it. But I can't decide which one I want! I like the Elantra inside. The Veloster looks fun. Both have a manual. But the Kona is probably best for a daily driver. I posted on the FB Kona group yesterday and got great input. What do you think? Would you buy Kona again? Or one of the other two? Thanks, btw I love everything you did . . except those flaps 😉 lol
@@andrewstevens7205 Ha all good! I would say this is my first N car but also first sort of performance oriented car so I have nothing to compare to. But that being said I do love it! In regards to the other current Ns all 3 are amazing but also varied so I would ask yourself which one best fits your needs and go with your gut from there. I personally love the KN styling more out of the bunch and it fits what I want / need in terms of a daily. So I would get the Kona N again, then Veloster and then Elantra.
Also appreciate the feedback lol, hope you were able to catch my other vids in terms of mods which is another point. The VN and EN have more aftermarket so if you're looking to mod those might be better platforms to start.
Good luck in your search and hope you do end up joining the N fam (before they all go EV ha)!
Had one couldnt live with the awefull cheap plastiky interior.
Во наколхозил!!! Такой олень !
