Very interesting video. Thanks for posting it. Not long ago I was talking to a taxi cab driver who had a Crown Victoria. I looked at his mileage and he had 444K plus miles on it!!! I asked him how it's running....and he said it's running fine. IF you want value....I don't think there is any car that beats a Crown Victoria :D
nice, purchased my 08 a couple months ago with 165,000 miles , i use it as a daily driver/commute to work which is 100 miles a day round trip, racked up some miles quick, now i'm at 178,000 miles and no problems
@@jrwatson8461 I'm very pleased with it. Its a great car.Handles extremely well. Much power when you need it. Sounds like a good price you have there if it's in good shape for that mileage. Mine is 2008, 133,000 and paid $3,700. No rust which is big here in Michigan. Have had a month. Only issues are driver seat hard, quite uncomfortable but I have a little foam cushion which helps. Thermostat went bad but no big deal. Not expensive and that happens on any car with mileage. Good luck on yours. Let me know how it works out!
I just got an 09 crown vic ex police car and i love it. I wanted something durable and reliable so this is what i got. I got the same console from walmart in mine too it fits perfectly.
I have a 54K 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis and I love the car. It's the Crown Vic's Twin. It runs great and makes a great 1st car. I'm 18 and hope to have it for a while.
I just bought a 2010 p7b last Thursday and it is a blast! But it has the exact same problem with the seat as yours with the bolt head being rusted off lol.
I just bought a 2011 Crown Victoria with the passenger and driver side spotlights as well as a push bar mine is black and has lots of power no sign of a cage.
My 2006 I got back in 2012 is set-up just like yours with CC and carpet. Still runs and drives perfect at 175k miles and 2500 idle hours. I use full synthetic motor oil.
Congratulations! I also have a 2008 p71 that I've had for 7 years. And like yours the cluster was fading in and out. Do not buy a new cluster. Simply have it removed and resolder the board on the back. $50 7 years ago and no issues since.

DID IT!!! Brought the baby HOME today! 2008 CVP71, Her name is 'The Panther' and to me 2/29/2020 is her 'BIRTHDAY'! Looks GREAT, drives GREAT! I am definitely gonna have questions. I just realized you are in WVa! I live in Daytona, but home is Summers County, WVa.
My 99 had about 250,000 when i sold it. I saw the guy still driving it two years later so I'II bet it also hit 300,000. They last long with that Trans cooler and oil coolers on the cop cars.
Hello, Eli: Great-looking CVPI, maybe better than mine! [I have a 2008, too.] 1 thing; Check & make sure the recall was done on yours; The steering column was recalled for a serious problem where the car would stop steering, so check that out right away. Hopefully, it's already been done, but if not,the local Ford dealer should be able to do it. When I bought mine, the paperwork showed when, where, & who did it. Have a GREAT day, Neighbor!
Bought an '04 P71 last month as my daily driver. Needed minor work (rear door internals, tint removed and 2 broken exhaust manifold bolts) but pretty much has been trouble free with no mechanical or electrical issues. Plan on getting a new spotlight (half of mine is missing) a push bumper and a hockey puck antenna, and a traffic advisor for the rear. Plenty of room for my 6'4" frame, and will cruise at 80 all day long. Got it at an auto auction for $1800. And had 150k on it.
That's cool! I loved my 2008. I no longer have it but it was an awesome car. I replaced it with a 2012 9C1 Impala. The Crown Vic spit a spark plug out of the engine unfortunately.
If you buy your accesories online beware of a company out of florida that rips people off left and right with componets. They take your money than never ship. They have a real bad rating so check on whoever you buy from.
Mine as well do the full rear bumper tuck. Zip tie both rear mounting bracket spots to the frame. Just pull them tight. Cleaner look and little drag reduction
You can send the cluster out for repair on ebay for $50 with free shipping back to you but you have to pay the out shipping which is about $10 to $11. I did mine and it worked great and they gave me life time warranty on their work
I bought one in April of this year it had 200,000 miles on it. It has a rebuilt trans in it and it came with a new in the box starter, alternator, and coil packs. Also I have all the paperwork with the trans. All this for $1800.
I'm a successful man, and I can afford pretty nice cars. My last one was a BMW 750, the four before that were Cadillacs - the biggest ones - DTS, etc. The BMW was a maintenance nightmare - every replacement part was $1,000 to $2,000, and the labor charges on top of that at the BMW dealer was obviously revenge for us kicking these Nazi bastards asses in WW II. My Mercedes, back awhile before I got smart was a piece of junk and the tune ups were $1,200 in 1970. My last Caddy, a big 2017, was a beautiful car. I paid $72,000 for it. It conked out in the middle of a highway when it was two weeks old. Told the dealer if he didn't take it back I would sue the shit out of them. They took it back. So what do I drive now? A wonderful, roomy (I'm a big guy) 2007 Crown Victoria P71 police car. Got it for $3500 a couple of years ago. Put in four KYB shocks, ($87 each) a whole new updated brake system, new A/C compressor and a new rack and pinion steering assembly ($162.28.) It needed those things - and a new fuel filter. It's a black unmarked car with a power driver's seat, fully width split bench front seats with dual fold-down armrests and all the LX high market trim - such as a wood-paneled dash. Am/Fm factory radio with a CD player. Nicely tinted glass. New lightweight stock-appearing wheels and tires all around, carpeting, new interior lights and LED's all around. I've put about $4000 in it counting the 8 MSD Blaster coils and the cold air intake and TB spacer. It came with a 3.27 'Traction-Lok' rear, an aluminum driveshaft, a nifty police transmission, smaller diameter torque converter and 129,000 miles. In other words, at $7,500 it cost a little more than the SALES TAX on my last Cadillac. The car is fast, of course. Lots of torque, reliable as hell, quiet, smooth, handles as well as any BMW now that I have upped the sway bar diameters a bit and had a set of springs made for the rear that are 1 inch lower than stock. Police car asses are up way too high for good handling on a tight course. My aluminum wheels weight only 17 pounds, as opposed to the original ones which were 27 pounds each. The body and chassis are so strong, it doesn't shake, rattle or roll. Even at 130 mph. Elvis wouldn't care for it. In the future I will spend several thousand dollars more. New, high-gloss black paint, a ProCharger, and a white leather interior from a Lincoln town Car. (Same Panther platform.) The car has no spotlights, cages, bump bars or antennas. I didn't buy it to play cop. I bought it so I could have the large, strong, reliable, safe, roomy, comfortable, practical rear-wheel drive V8 sedan America no longer makes. I bought it for the almost ridiculously cheap parts (Power steering pump $46, brake rotors $27.) and absolutely trouble-free ownership and operation, winter or summer. When I am done I will have about $17,000 total in the car. About the same price as a brand new teeny-tiny tin death-trap from Japan or Korea - then again, they are probably MORE money than that. I will have a 375 to 390 horsepower supercharged 4.6 liter stock V8 (That's plenty, I don't want a monster I'm scared of,) a six passenger car with a trunk as large as a mid-sized SUV's storage space, A luxuriously soft and gorgeous leather seating arrangement with plush, deep-pile carpeting and the stereo and back up camera and GPS, H.U.D. and LED bulbs everywhere and ambient lighting. But I also have the handling of a slot car, Kevlar bullet proof panels in the doors, an air horn (it wakes them up when you need to) and a PA system.(you'd be amazed at how handy that comes in around the grounds or the farm.) It's got good crash ratings, its good in snow, the A/C is ice cold and I get over 20 mpg running a 93 octane tune.(It's got overdrive!) The other $55,000 is in the bank where it belongs. No teeny, tiny tin Asian death traps for me. No Nazimobiles to slaughter your bank account. no bisexual minivans or 'my dick is bigger than yours' lifted Jeeps. Old, stone stock-appearing, supercharged black CVPI all the way.
Here in New Orleans, Louisiana , NOPD has some Crown Victorias on the fleet. Same goes for the Louisiana State Police and other Parishes in Louisiana when it comes to the Police Departments/Sheriff Offices.
I have an 08 Vic PI 250,000 miles. Engine and transmission are still strong. The bad with this car and most 2000 and up fords are the electronics for the seats. The windows will eventually fall off the hinge so you can't roll them up. Also the intake manifold will need to be replaced or upgraded after 150,000 miles or so. There are now a couple million mile Crown Vics now. So it is a proven thoroughbred.
Facts. My driver side window wont roll down, my seats work but the lumbar never has and yes ive replace the intake, as well as the egr, water pump and various items but all of that is still cheaper than a brand new car so im good. She's rolling 267,000 and shes an 06. She also has amber.white visor lights, a traffic advisor, strobes, wig wags, a pa and a siren but shhhhh...don't tell anyone k?
I used to run a test lab, testing seat recliners and seats. I can tell you, if someone sits in that pass. seat, and you're hit from behind, they might end up breaking their neck against the back seat, or go out the rear window. I would replace all attachment seat and seat belt bolts, with high grade bolts, nuts, and wide washers under the floor pan. My CV is from upstate S. Carolina, no rust underneath. Cars here don't deal with salt, except the one or two days after ice and snow, once or twice a season. I'm originally from Michigan, so I've seen a lot of rust.
The hubcaps make it look like a D-ride, but the rubber mats and perp seat say it aint so. You need to go to a wreckers yard and get the matching back seat. Also...that cage bracket at the back left could go right through somebody's face in a collision. Happy trails.....
It's a great video bro and I have to agree with you the newer police interceptors have no room whatsoever that's why I have a 04 Crown Vic p71 and now it's on my project list.
@@Eliyourcarguy the best car in the market I noticed that a lot of people are looking for Crown Vics but we're the lucky ones to get it cheap. I paid mine $700
Tomorrow (2/29/20) I'm planning to go look at a 2008, WHITE, 165,000 mi, for $2750...Supposed to be in very good condition. I have missed out on a couple pretty nice cars, I guess I am a bit timid! Your video encourages me!
I’ll agree with the others on here...nice looking CV...white’s not for me, but I like my ‘07 in silver a lot! Bought her 4yrs ago with 21K & 160 idle hours on the clock. A steal for $6k.... At any rate, back to your ride; I’ll echo the suggestion about checking that steering linkage. If you check the VIN# - entering it someplace on Ford’s website, it’ll indicate any outstanding recalls on your vehicle. Another defect on these cars is the heater blend door motor. It’s a REAL pain to replace it; but buy one now for the $30 it costs, and do your UA-cam research to do it yourself and save yourself the 800-1000 bucks for a shop! A few more suggestions for you...the tires I use on ALL my vehicles are Nokian. They are the best riding, gripping (dry, wet & snow) I’ve ever had, well worth the price. You’ll get 3mpg or so more right away too, just from the reduced rolling resistance! No joke! The last thing that I’ll HIGHLY recommend is an electronic reprogramming module made by Hypertech - called “Max Energy.” I’m not a paid sponsor 🧐, but with this box, you first save the factory settings in its memory, then you can select your fuel type Reg or Premium, transmission shift point changes, etc. I’ve had my car running on Premium fuel with it for a couple of years now, and the throttle response it FAR better than stock, and I get around 17-18 mpg on local roads (30-50 mph), and on long highway trips, I’ve gotten 23MPG ‼️ It advances your timing up to where the knock sensor kicks in, and if you’re using 91-93 octane gas, the horsepower has jumped by at least 20 (seat-of-the-pants estimate). Even using the “Regular fuel” programming, it still gives you better performance and response- if you don’t want to spring for Hi-test. I’ve never permanently changed changed my trans. shift points, as I’ve fiddled with that, but found it holds the 1-2 shift too long. It does greatly improve the O/D torque converter lockup, as well as the 3rd gear lockup when you lock out the O/D. If you ever need to have your shop service the car, it’s imperative you revert the car’s onboard computer back to the previously saved Factory/original setting, or you may end up having to buy another OBC. What else; I usually change my tranny, PS, and axle fluids every 40-50k just to be safe. These cars are real tanks...I feel as safe driving mine as I did in my ‘69 Caddy‼️. Many happy years of tailgating + trouble-free driving awaits you, I hope ✌🏻🍺 Cheers 🏁
I haven't seen too many in silver! Most of the ones I see are either white, black or blue. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your input and advice on the maintenance and upkeep of the car! I'm hoping to have this car for several years and any information I come across about maintenance and upkeep is noted and appreciated!
There are TWO wheel base sizes. 114inch and 120inch wheel base. The difference is in fact in the back seat ! Nearly all Mercury Marquis are 114. Rear doors. Doors are not interchangeable to the 120 inch wheel base. I saw in my area a CV P-71 white like mine with the shorter wheel base. I had no intention to chase perps over curbs. So. I went to the tire size used on the Mercury Marauder. Aluminum 16" rims. It feels like a luxury car ride now. Not a Ford F 150. Those 17" Steel rims are very very heavy.
Very clean looking Crown Vic. I had a few of them also. I drive a 06 now but that's a regular type sport sedan. I had a dark green Sheriff one a few years back but I sold it. It had the blue silicone hoses under the hood. I don't know if they use them on the new ones but those blue silicone radiator hoses last forever. To let you know when you looked underneath the car and saw the drive shaft it's probably original. If you notice it says police on it and it is made out of aluminum. They used the aluminum for more torque to the rear wheels. And also if you drive it on ice be very careful because the backend will kick out really fast being that both wheels are posi. My police unit both tires spun on snow but I put weight in the trunk and it gave me great traction. Do a burnout once and both Wheels should spin. Otherwise great cars if you have the factory police oil cooler and transmission cooler you're all set. Yes you will get 300,000 miles out of your engine if you take care of it. And don't forget they have extra frame welds underneath also for strength. You should check or go online and check for the recall for the lower steering shaft. They had a recall from 2005 to 2011 Crown Vics and police cars for steering shaft failure. I had mine replaced but I still oil it once a year. If you want check out my car videos you may like what I got in that section in my car videos playlist. Peace out and you take care. I gave you a thumbs up and I also subscribe to your Channel.
Thank you! I appreciate the great information about the car! It's great to hear info from other owners about them. Thanks for the feedback and I subscribed back!
I bought a 2011 for use as a Taxi - Cab here in Canada. To date its been very reliable, with the exception of some electrical issues. Lately it has been the gauges. The cluster comes on and off, so you have to guess your fuel level and speed etc. It has 279,000 km/173,362 mi.( 8000 hrs.) At least that is the number shown when the cluster lit up temporarily last week.
I was a cab driver for 4years and I drove a 2007 Crown Victoria in Oklahoma City, drive about 12 hours in the car... during my shift I wouldn't be tired, plus driving the car is fun reminds me of the Mazda RX-7.. you need to get a spare tire and floor jack.. now after being a cabbie,I'm still in transportation,my boss bought at a auction,10 Crown Victoria.. mine is a 2009 with barely 103,000 miles on it and after a long shift and I need to get something to eat,its refreshing to fire fire up the Vic..I stowed the spotlight unlike how you're is up, because at night people can't tell if a Vic is a real cop car or retired cop car... Your digital odometer can be refurbished, research it online... By the way, maintenance is easy to do on the Vic and cheaper than the Mustang.. if you really want to have fun,ago car shopping at dealership and drive the Vic..
I bought mine for $1950 with 95,800 miles from my home city Miami, FL. I just bought the center console from Wally World for $33. Bought a push bar for $30 at a auto savage shop and bought the brackets for $100 on ebay. The radio I replaced with a Kenwood radio ($109, get the kit to fot the mold as well as wiring, so it would be around $130), replaced the hydraulic pistons for the hood ($47), replaced the AC compressor ($864) after it shot out. Replaced both brake calipers on the fromt end and all brakes are ceramic. Replaced one tail light and all headlights, replaced the belt tensioner and power window motor. Seems like alot but its things that needed replacement lol. The money is worth while in these cars cause they are designed to laaaaaaast.
2008 is the best year for Crown Vics. In 2009, Ford switched to a smaller oil filter which does not keep oil high in the block like the FL820S in the 2008 does. As a result, 2009-11 cars suffer from dry hydraulic lifters on start up while the 2008 does not.
I wish Ford hadn't changed this. I noticed my 2009 is a little noisier at cold start-up some days. It only lasts a few seconds and I can't tell if it's coming from the top or the bottom end, but engine still runs strong at 142k.
CVPI's were NEVER quick....just pretty durable...only AFTER Ford worked out the bugs....but a no-contest ride when comparing this 4.6 against Chevy's LT1 Caprice 9C1.
If that 2011 was well maintained.....I would say you are getting a good deal for 6K. 100K on a maintained Crown Vic is like nothing. It's still an infant at 100K. If you get that 2011 34K Crown Vic.....it could last you ten years or more. And you are also getting the youngest-most recent model. Also, black is an awesome color for a Crown Vic :D
I bought an 04 a few months ago. It was lowered 1.5 inches and has all new steering and suspension components. It handles better than my 98 Mark viii or my 05 hemi Magnum did. Off the line it has good power, but I think 55 to 95 is where it shines.
@@Eliyourcarguy I think I scared the crap out of my 25 year old son a couple weeks ago. We were behind a big motor home that was going 55 mph in a 65 zone on a 2 lane highway. When I got my chance, I booted the trusty 4.6 to pass him. By the time I was 3 car lengths in front of him I was going 95. I love this freaking car. V8 Power, rear wheel drive, room, and dependability in an affordable package.

For your radio I recommend going to eBay. I bought an AM/FM with CD player for my Vic. It looked new, came with radio puller. All I did was unplug the old one and plug in tbe new radio. I paid $50 for the radio. You can play CD's now.
20 years ago I got a PI, Chevy Caprice Classic and had it for 10 year. 10 years I got a 2003 Crown Vic from the Palm Beach Sheriff Dept. Much better vehicle than the Chevy. It's the best car I ever owned I LOVE BIG CARS! So yes, zero to 60 in 59 seconds, lol. Will take a Crown Vic over a BMW any time. Just this week I am looking for a 2011 Crown Vic. Why waste all that money on 3 consonants If I can't feel safe in it. This will surely be my last police interceptor since they are getting smaller and smaller so I am going to take great care of my 2011 Crown Vic.
Waaay back in the 70s we'd could pack at least four guys and two cases of beer in the huge trunk of the LTD and sneak into the drive in movies, lol. Ahhhh, life was sooo much easier and fun back then..
Great video! I have a PI and it still has the prisoner cage, thinking about taking it out. How hard was it, and did you have to plug any holes in the floor? I see that you left the brackets in where the seat belts are - was it not possible to take those out? Thanks much, great video!
Thanks! It wasn't hard at all. No holes either. However, I haven't taken out the bars you can see at 6:23. If those are removed that would leave holes in the floor.
Whoa!@! I've never seen those bars that are in the back seat floor area,.. that's very intriguing! I have had several and still have 3 Crown Victoria police Interceptors but I've also had several Ford Taurus police interceptors and they all have reinforcement structure under the seats throughout the interior but I have NEVER seen it done in any other police car I have had (I have bought and sold approximately 20 police cars in the past four years...) I wonder if this is a retro fit? I gotta say the only thing I truly hate about these cars is trying to put gasoline in them for some reason if the tank is almost empty it keeps tripping the anti overfill on the gas nozzles!!!!!🤬 Great looking example of the greatest police car ever made by the way!!!!🚓💨👍
ProGuard uses the poles and so does a few other companies like Setina. Someone just left them bolted in same as the pillar brackets behind the front seats. I left my cage in as it is useful for me with the mounts they had in it.
@@Tier1Norseman OK yeah I took my prisoner partition out and I and I used a sawsall to cut the welds out so I still have the roll bar part that the partition was mounted with as roll over protection but having the partition in my car was a pain in the ass cause I could never put anything in the back seat while driving in the front.

What’s the latest year would you get?
Hello, Eli:
Great-looking CVPI, maybe better than mine! [I have a 2008, too.]
1 thing; Check & make sure the recall was done on yours; The steering column was recalled for a serious problem where the car would stop steering, so check that out right away.
Nice!
Hi this is Steve from Chesapeake Virginia yes my speedometer light is the same way to you can barely see it
I'm a successful man, and I can afford pretty nice cars.
Nobody will read this
@@democratshateamerica8196 I read all of it.
can't believe I just read this whole thing haha. I'm in highschool and can't wait to get mine if it works out for me.
Mercedes is a piece of junk !
Crown Victoria handles as well as BMW !!
Fuck this logic
Maybe you should write books?
Because your power of illusion and your story telling is absolute superb. :-)
Here in New Orleans, Louisiana , NOPD has some Crown Victorias on the fleet.
Same goes for the Louisiana State Police and other Parishes in Louisiana when it comes to the Police Departments/Sheriff Offices.
I've got an 08 CVPI with 36k miles from the border patrol... They never used it. It was an admin vehicle. Just getting started! Great car. Love it.
Awe thats fine,,, you lucked in
I have an 08 Vic PI 250,000 miles.
It's the fuzz!
Get rid of the hub caps steel wheels with center caps and beauty rings always look the best.
Nice to know prices are rising. More value as deserved.
Definitely nice for all of us Crown Vic owners!
It's a great video bro and I have to agree with you the newer police interceptors have no room whatsoever that's why I have a 04 Crown Vic p71 and now it's on my project list.
Thank you! Glad ya liked it. Can't beat the Crown Vic!
@@Eliyourcarguy the best car in the market I noticed that a lot of people are looking for Crown Vics but we're the lucky ones to get it cheap. I paid mine $700
I absolutely love your channel so much buddy
You should detail under the hood.. I bet it would clean up nicely.
Since this video I have cleaned under the hood! It really did clean up nicely 👍
EliYourCarGuy - All the State cars in CT are ordered in silver now.... ✌🏻
John Cohen >>> Very interesting, as I had no idea this difference existed.
So would my 2011 CVPI most likely have the 114” or 120” wheel base?
I still see North Carolina & Tennessee Driving the Black & White ones
james woods >>> California still has its fair share as well.
Nice Looking Ex-Cop Ford Crown Victoria Car-And Well-Maintained
I bought a 2011 for use as a Taxi - Cab here in Canada. To date its been very reliable, with the exception of some electrical issues. Lately it has been the gauges. The cluster comes on and off, so you have to guess your fuel level and speed etc. It has 279,000 km/173,362 mi.( 8000 hrs.) At least that is the number shown when the cluster lit up temporarily last week.
Sweet ride👍🏻👍🏻
Needs the small hubcaps IMHO
Phil Barrows center caps?
No wayyyyy those detective style hub caps look way better.
Nice The Crown Vic is a good reliable car it won’t let you down I know cause I owned one 2008 crown Victoria p71
Thank you! They are very reliable. Doing great so far!
Great Video Eli!!
Caprice259 Thanks! Glad you liked it 👍
I have a 2010 CVPI. I will drive it until it falls apart like the Bluesmobile did at the end of The Blues Brothers.
my town and alot of towns near me uses the vic still. i love the vic
I love them too! Alot of departments in the south are still using them!
I have a 2005 P71 and I want to get another, or two more. I have had many other cars, But, The P71 is the best one yet.
Nice! They are super dependable!
She's cute!
I have 06 Grand Marquis 75,000
I own a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria P71....BEST car ever
They are great! I am at 129,300 miles. Loving it!
Im looking at a 2008 130k miles
@@jrwatson8461 Check transmission fluid. If it smells burnt and is not pink, it is on the way out.
CVPI's were NEVER quick....just pretty durable...only AFTER Ford worked out the bugs....but a no-contest ride when comparing this 4.6 against Chevy's LT1 Caprice 9C1.
Mine still have the plastic seats in the back with a lot of space and black and chrome cap wheel and sliding steel rack in the trunk.
The bolts on the passenger seat broken is a common thing on the crown vics. I had the same rocking problem with a 98 police interceptor back in 2011.
absolutely love these cars
Me too!
I’m looking at a black 2011 with 34K miles on it for around 6 grand.
Also has the civilian interior.
34K is nothing on one of these! Hope you get it!
@@richardharris3423 Maintenance goes a long way for sure! If well taken care of these can easily run over 200,000 miles.
Get it before someone else does. You will regret not buying it.
deathraydave Buy it before I find it! 😄
New London, CT's police force still fields these. Good reason, too.
I bought an 04 a few months ago. It was lowered 1.5 inches and has all new steering and suspension components. It handles better than my 98 Mark viii or my 05 hemi Magnum did. Off the line it has good power, but I think 55 to 95 is where it shines.
Nice! I agree. Highway speeds are its strong suit!
Got my 2010 CVPI from Texas, was a former Customs Border Patrol supervisor unit with 65k on the odometer and 330 yes! 330 idle hours.fire extinguisher and brand new full size spare mounted in the trunk, with factory tint.Street Appearance Package 🚔🚓🚔🚓🚔🚓
You could have so much fun with this thing! I bet on the highway everyone pulls to the right lane to let you by! :-)... I would!
It's a ton of fun! Haha, yep alot of people tend to yield the right of way and slow down when they see it coming. Lol
I just got my vic about a month or so ago it dont run yet but it's in great shape all it needs is flywheel bolts it's a 2007 with 169k miles on it
TOLD MYWIFE IM NEVER SELLING MINES CAUSE I KNOW THESE ARE GONNA BE WORTH ALOT ONE DAY
I agree! They are already appreciating in value!
For your radio I recommend going to eBay. I bought an AM/FM with CD player for my Vic. It looked new, came with radio puller. All I did was unplug the old one and plug in tbe new radio. I paid $50 for the radio. You can play CD's now.
Thanks for the tip!
I purchased a former 2008 crown Vic police interceptor for $4000 and it's now valued at $15000 it was a former dea outta vegas
Awesome Video! I live in Maryland!
With the trunk we used to say “How many bodies can you put in the trunk”.
Rosemary Aquino "Zero to 60. in 59 seconds" hahaha - good one! I just got a 2010 and love it! Paid approx $0.73 per pound hahaha 😁
My father has a Lincoln Town Car with the same as the Vic. Car has half a million miles on it. If you take care of the motor, they will last forever!
I have one to the Lovett mines a 2010
Replaced gas tank on my 05 was total nightmare straps included now rear seal on axle gone bad😢
about to buy my friends wrecked 08 still runs just got front end damage ,
Get a tint and black out your B pillars! Also, do a bumper tuck.
I bought a 05 p71 and it’s been my daily for a year . Has 196,000 miles and runs amazing . Great cars
That's great to know! I'd love to get that out of mine!
Waaay back in the 70s we'd could pack at least four guys and two cases of beer in the huge trunk of the LTD and sneak into the drive in movies, lol. Ahhhh, life was sooo much easier and fun back then..
Where in WV are you? I’m getting ready to buy a 2008 myself. I’m from Beckley. You have an excellent vehicle there.
Love it!
Thanks Dave!
I gotta say the only thing I truly hate about these cars is trying to put gasoline in them for some reason if the tank is almost empty it keeps tripping the anti overfill on the gas nozzles!!!!!🤬
Great looking example of the greatest police car ever made by the way!!!!🚓💨👍
ProGuard uses the poles and so does a few other companies like Setina.
I really wish they came back. I want one bad
